There's more to black history than MLK. In order to celebrate and pay homage to various cultures, histories and traditions we must do the research and plan ahead. Recognize various accomplishments, consult with multiple sources and encourage the exploration and sharing of all heritages and backgrounds. Its time to change the narrative of undocumented immigrants in America. Today we sit with, DACA advocate and Dreamer, Astou Thiane. The purpose of DACA and the DREAM act is to protect eligible immigrant youth who came to the United States when they were children from deportation.
