Understanding the Gospel
As a true disciple of Jesus Christ you must have a study life, we are even encouraged in 2 Timothy 2:15 to study to show ourselves approved unto God. Listen to the 1st part of this teaching and be blessed. Shalom.
Clearly ALL believer's have been given the mandate to win souls.. It is not the responsibility of a department but a collective responsibility of the body of Christ, beyond 'church marketing'. I pray as you listen fresh Grace is supplied to go into the field and win the lost into the kingdom of God.
The purpose of God for our redemption is that we all become like Christ. That we take up the divine nature of God. The provision for that is already made for in the scriptures. Brethen the purpose of Discipleship is that we may conform to the image of Christ.
As a Born again Christian, the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Spiritual growth is a life long journey, we are not supposed to travel alone, but the most important person we travel with is the Holy Spirit, though we need the company of other believers. Listen to this teaching and be blessed.

It is important that you understand the reason for salvation, what God did, how to be saved and saved into what. This will not only open your eyes will bless you.
We all became Christians because we believed the Gospel, the Good News. What really is the Gospel we believed? This truth is taught in the most simplistic way yet very profound. We gain understanding and more insight into the Gospel from this teaching. Be blessed!
