Today we begin a brand new series through the Gospel of Mark! Because we're starting a new series, this episode is all about helping kids understand the book before we dive into the stories. When we read a book of the Bible, it's important to ask: Who wrote it? Who was it written to? And why was it written? In this episode, we discover what a “gospel” is, why there are four Gospels, and that Mark wrote down the apostle Peter's eyewitness stories about Jesus. We also learn that Mark's big question is: Who is Jesus? This episode is like laying the foundation before we start building. It prepares us for everything that's coming next as we begin this journey. ------------ 2 Minute Survey We're running a very short, listener survey to help us understand our audience and keep Kids Bible Stories going strong. While this podcast is mostly funded by listener support, our sponsors help keep it free for families, and this survey helps them help us. It's simple, it's quick, and it's a really practical way you can support the show. Thanks for helping ------ To connect with me go here

Welcome to Day 2779 of Wisdom-Trek. Thank you for joining me. This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to Wisdom. Day 2779– The Prophet of the Most High – Luke 1:57-80 Putnam Church Message – 12/14/2025 Luke's Account of the Good News - “The Prophet of the Most High”   Last week, we continued our year-long study of Luke's Narrative of the Good News in a message titled: “The Day Mary Met Gabriel.” – Peace in the Unexpected. This week is the third Sunday of Advent, which is Joy, as we continue to build anticipation of the coming Messiah. Today's passage is the story of: “The Prophet of the Most High.” Joy to the World - Our Core verses for this week will be Luke 1:57-80, found on page 1589 of your Pew Bibles.  The Birth of John the Baptist 57 When it was time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth to a son. 58 Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy. 59 On the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they were going to name him after his father Zechariah, 60 but his mother spoke up and said, “No! He is to be called John.” 61 They said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who has that name.” 62 Then they made signs to his father, to find out what he would like to name the child. 63 He asked for a writing tablet, and to everyone's astonishment he wrote, “His name is John.” 64 Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue set free, and he began to speak, praising God. 65 All the neighbors were filled with awe, and throughout the hill country of Judea people were talking about all these things. 66 Everyone who heard this wondered about it, asking, “What then is this child going to be?” For the Lord's hand was with him. Zechariah's Song 67 His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied: 68 “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them. 69 He has raised up a horn> of salvation for us in the house of his servant David 70 (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago), 71 salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us— 72 to show mercy to our ancestors and to remember his holy covenant, 73     the oath he swore to our father Abraham: 74 to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear 75     in holiness and righteousness before him all our days. 76 And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, 77 to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, 78 because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven 79 to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of...

    #1,415: Standing Strong for Christ

    The 5 Minute Discipleship Podcast

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 19, 2026 5:16

Every day, you make decisions about whether you will stand for Christ or not. In how we live our lives, the choices we make, the attitudes we portray, and the words we say, we are telling others that we stand for Christ, or we are communicating that we do not stand with him.Main Points:1. Jesus knew we would face a strong temptation to hide our light. When we are open and public about our testimony for Christ, it draws attention to us. We face potential rejection, scorn, and persecution. No one wants to experience such things. It's so much easier to keep our faith and our testimony hidden. After all, isn't faith in God supposed to be a personal, private matter?2. Unfortunately, this is a lie we have come to believe. Satan wants your voice to be silenced. If you can be intimated to keep your witness for Christ quiet, then that is the temptation you will face. 3. Today you'll have an opportunity to stand for God. In a conversation, at your office, with your family, or on social media, there will be a moment of decision. Choose to speak up. Choose to be identified with Christ. Don't hide your witness. You can stand for Christ, but do it in a way that is gentle and respectful.Today's Scripture Verses:Isaiah 7:9 - “If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.”Matthew 5:15 - “No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.”Romans 1:16 - “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.”Quick Links:Donate to support this podcastLeave a review on Apple PodcastsGet a copy of The 5 Minute Discipleship JournalConnect on SocialJoin The 5 Minute Discipleship Facebook Group

In this Friday Radar Brief of The Wright Report, Bryan delivers quick but critical headlines to watch heading into the weekend, from violent unrest in Minnesota to improving economic signals and new risks tied to artificial intelligence. Minnesota Riots and the Insurrection Act: President Trump warns he may invoke the Insurrection Act after left-wing riots erupt in Minneapolis, fueled by rhetoric from Governor Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey targeting ICE officers. Protesters stole firearms from an FBI vehicle, raising alarms about escalating violence and state-level defiance of federal authority. Democrats Push to Abolish ICE: Michigan Representative Shri Thanedar introduces new legislation to abolish ICE, joining a growing majority of Democrats openly calling for the end of deportations. Bryan argues the bill signals a revolutionary shift in immigration policy, even if it fails in the current Congress. U.S. Seizes More Oil Tankers: U.S. forces capture a sixth ghost-fleet tanker carrying Venezuelan, Russian, and Iranian oil. Bryan explains how the strategy squeezes Moscow, Tehran, and Beijing while potentially impacting global oil prices and American consumers. Economic Updates Worth Watching: Mortgage rates hit a three-year low near 6 percent, inflation continues to cool, and consumer sentiment improves. Hiring remains weak, but falling rents, rising wages, and lower prices offer signs of relief heading into 2026. AI Risks Expand: Workers are increasingly being paid to train AI systems that may ultimately replace them. Bryan also warns of a surge in AI-driven scams, including fake videos and emails impersonating pastors and religious leaders. Unexpected Medical and Market News: GLP-1 weight-loss drugs may lower airline fuel costs as passengers weigh less, offering a surprising boost to airline profits.   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32     Keywords: January 16 2026 Wright Report, Minnesota riots Insurrection Act, Tim Walz ICE rhetoric, abolish ICE bill Thanedar, ghost fleet oil tanker seizure, mortgage rates three-year low, inflation cooling economy, AI job displacement training, AI scams fake pastors, GLP-1 drugs airline fuel savings

Daily Dose of Hope January 16, 2026   Scripture: I Thessalonians 4   Prayer:  Almighty Father, Thank you for loving us despite our many faults.  Thank you for showing us a different way of doing life.  Help us seek holiness in all we do.  Help us become the people you desire us to be.  As we work through today's Scripture and devotional, I pray that you speak to our hearts.  Help us see things differently.  We want to hear from you.  In Your Name, Amen.   Welcome back to the Daily Dose of Hope, the devotional and podcast that goes along with the New Hope Church daily Bible reading plan.  We are currently journeying through Paul's letters.  Right now, we are walking through I Thessalonians.   Today, we read I Thessalonians 4.  Possibly because they were experiencing so much persecution, the Thessalonians were very interested in knowing when Jesus' second coming would occur.  Paul tells them two things they needed to hear: their persecutors will be judged and in the meantime, living in faith, hope, and love, is the best way to prepare for the next step of their Christian journey.  Jesus will come suddenly, like a thief in the night.  But they have nothing to fear as God's children.  Those who reject the Gospel will face God's wrath but the believers will be protected and get to live with Jesus for eternity.   He reiterates what it means to live a Godly life.  He says to reject sexual immorality, and to seek holiness.  The idea of seeking holiness is deeply rooted in Scripture, including the command to be holy as God is holy (Lev. 19:2), Jesus' teachings to be perfect as our Father is perfect (Matt. 5:48), and the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:34-40).  John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, writes that holiness is not perfection or flawlessness but more a maturity of character and increasing love for God and others.  The Thessalonians were coming from a pagan culture that valued self over others.  Living holy lives would have truly set them apart from the culture around them.  People would notice.    The last part of the chapter is kind of interesting, regarding those who have already died.  Just like his talk of the second coming, this is purely pastoral encouragement for them.  Believers who have died in the Lord will be resurrected when Jesus returns.  They can trust in that.  Now, Jesus was pretty clear-no one knows the time he will come back, only the Father.  In Matthew 24:36, Jesus says, "However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows."  Despite this, people have tried making predictions for thousands of years.  I hear people today say, "Well, these must be end times because of this or that."  My personal opinion is that isn't for us to know or say.  Our responsibility is to take Paul's advice to the Thessalonians and live in faith, hope, and love, pointing others to Jesus and living like people with Good News.   Blessings, Pastor Vicki

Hi, I'm John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you're listening to Share Life Today. There are moments in life when it's hard to see what God is doing. Circumstances may feel uncertain, and the future may seem unclear. Yet God speaks words of hope to His people in Isaiah 43:19, saying, “See, I am doing a new thing; now it springs up, do you not perceive it?” Even when we don't recognize it, God is actively at work, bringing renewal and purpose. The new thing God is doing in us is all because of Jesus. Through His death on the cross, our sins are forgiven, and new life is made possible. When we place our trust in Christ, God begins a work in us that transforms our hearts and gives us lasting hope for today and eternity. God never intended this hope to stop with us. He calls us to share the Good News with those around us who are searching for meaning and peace. For help in sharing your faith, visit our website at sharelife.today. That's sharelife.today.

Read Online“Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, ‘Rise, pick up your mat and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins on earth”—he said to the paralytic, “I say to you, rise, pick up your mat, and go home.” Mark 2:9–11In Mark's Gospel, Jesus began His ministry in Capernaum. Shortly after calling His first Apostles, Jesus preached in the synagogue, leaving many amazed. After healing a demoniac and Peter's mother-in-law, the whole town gathered at the house where Jesus was staying, and “He cured many who were sick with various diseases, and he drove out many demons, not permitting them to speak because they knew him” (Mark 1:34).After this, Jesus withdrew to a deserted place to pray, despite the people's growing fascination with His miracles. When the Apostles found Him, He revealed the essence of His mission: “Let us go on to the nearby villages that I may preach there also. For this purpose have I come” (Mark 1:38). From there, He and His Apostles traveled to other towns, fulfilling His primary mission: to preach the Good News of repentance and reconciliation with God.In one of these towns, out of deep compassion, Jesus healed a leper. However, this miracle only intensified the people's focus on His power to heal, overshadowing His preaching. When crowds pursued Him seeking miracles, He returned to Capernaum, which brings us to today's Gospel. In Capernaum, Jesus resumed His primary mission: “He preached the word to them” (Mark 2:2). Yet the people, who were focused more on His miraculous works, crowded around Him. As Jesus preached—likely in Peter's house—some men arrived carrying a paralytic. They were unable to enter because of the crowd, so they climbed to the roof, opened it, and lowered the man down. What happens next is profound: Jesus looks at the man and says, “Child, your sins are forgiven” (Mark 2:5). Jesus does not first address the man's physical paralysis. Instead, He speaks to the man's deeper need—his spiritual healing. Jesus recognized the faith of the paralytic and that of those who brought him and forgave the man's sins. Why does Jesus do this? Because spiritual healing takes precedence over physical healing. Jesus' primary mission was to call sinners to repentance and bring about reconciliation with God. Physical healing was always secondary. When the scribes question Jesus' authority to forgive sins, they fail to recognize that Jesus is not just a miracle worker—He is the Son of God. To teach them about His authority to forgive sins, Jesus says: “‘But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins on earth'—he said to the paralytic, ‘I say to you, rise, pick up your mat, and go home.'” The man did just that in full view of everyone, leaving the crowd astonished. The physical healing is a visible sign of Jesus' invisible power to forgive sins. Hence, the miracle in today's Gospel, which is of secondary importance, was performed to teach the people about Jesus' primary mission. In each of our lives, Jesus wants to fulfill His primary mission. He wants to forgive our sins and reconcile us with the Father and with Himself. First and foremost, this takes place through the powerful and transforming Sacrament of Reconciliation. It's amazing that even though that Sacrament fulfills the essence of Jesus' mission, many fail to take advantage of that grace, preferring instead to seek other favors from God of their own choosing. Reflect today on your approach to the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Do you regularly bring your sins to Jesus in faith, allowing Him to heal and reconcile you to the Father? As you ponder today's Gospel, place yourself in the shoes of the paralytic. See yourself as Jesus sees you—someone in need of His mercy and grace. Though He may grant us many blessings, the greatest gift He desires to bestow is the forgiveness of our sins. Yearn to hear His words echo in your heart in the Sacrament of Reconciliation: “Child, your sins are forgiven.” Most merciful Lord, You came to preach the Good News of forgiveness and to reconcile us with the Father. This was Your mission long ago, and it remains so today. Grant me the grace to long for this gift always and to make it the focus of my life, so that Your mission may be fulfilled in me. Jesus, I trust in You.Image: © José Luiz Bernardes RibeiroSource of content: catholic-daily-reflections.comCopyright © 2026 My Catholic Life! Inc. All rights reserved. Well that same saying has been getting more and more use in the ministry world as well. With our world changing and people being drawn in more directions that ever before, we should be begin looking for ways to reach men and women with the Gospel message. On today's program, we will visit with an old friend of our host that we met up with in Northern Texas at an outdoor hunting and fishing event. Following Covid, he had a calling to do something that would get men and women together to experience something with others. With everyone being locked in and chances of getting together with others very limited, he felt the call to do something to not only get connected, but to do it in a way to introduce the Good News of Jesus to outdoors people outside the church walls.

Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this Wednesday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, Bryan exposes a stunning Secret Service breach that put Vice President JD Vance and President Trump at risk, explains why emerging weapons like bioweapons and directed energy systems are reshaping warfare, and tracks escalating political and legal clashes tied to immigration enforcement, Venezuela, Greenland, China, and Iran. Secret Service Scandal Puts Leaders at Risk: An undercover sting revealed that Secret Service agent Tomas Escotto shared highly sensitive security details about Vice President JD Vance and President Trump, including movement patterns and advance travel plans. Bryan explains how such pattern of life leaks are exactly how foreign intelligence services plan assassinations and warns that internal ideological bias inside protective services now poses a grave national security threat. New Weapons That Change Everything: Secretary of War Pete Hegseth publicly warned that future military dominance will hinge on hypersonic missiles, long-range drones, space systems, biotechnologies, and directed energy weapons. Bryan breaks down why targeted bioweapons and portable energy weapons are no longer science fiction, how they may already have been used in Venezuela, and why cartels or hostile states gaining access would be catastrophic. SPR and Venezuelan Oil Strategy: Congress and the White House are considering how to use Venezuelan oil now under U.S. control to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Because the oil is heavy and high in sulfur, officials may sell it on the open market and purchase more suitable crude instead, turning Venezuela's resources into strategic leverage. Minnesota Protests Turn Organized and Political: Far left activists continue coordinated attacks on ICE officers in Minneapolis, with media outlets downplaying the political funding and organization behind the protests. Bryan explains why lawsuits by Minnesota officials to block federal immigration enforcement are political theater designed to energize the Abolish ICE movement, not serious legal efforts. Trump Moves Against Sanctuary Policies and Fraud: President Trump warned that federal funding will be cut off to sanctuary jurisdictions within ninety days unless they comply with immigration law. He also announced plans to revoke citizenship obtained through fraud nationwide, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirming investigations are underway in all fifty states. Greenland Becomes a Spy Battlefield: As U.S., Danish, Chinese, and Russian interests collide over Greenland, Bryan answers a listener question on CIA operations there. He explains how U.S. intelligence identifies motivations, recruits sources, and counters Russian and Chinese influence as all sides quietly prepare for long term control of the Arctic. Global Power Plays Intensify: The Pentagon is repositioning naval assets near Venezuela while courts battle over deportations. Trump is quietly seeking seizure warrants for Russian-flagged ghost fleet tankers to squeeze Moscow and Tehran. Meanwhile, new assessments warn China could neutralize the U.S. Navy around Taiwan by mass-producing hypersonic missiles faster than America can replace them. Iran and Argentina Close the Episode: Iran's protest death toll may exceed twenty thousand as Trump weighs military action despite regional warnings. Bryan closes with rare good news as Argentina repaid a $2.5 billion U.S. loan with interest, bolstering President Javier Milei's reforms and delivering a win for American taxpayers.   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32     Keywords: January 14 2026 Wright Report, Secret Service breach JD Vance, Tomas Escotto sting operation, Pete Hegseth new weapons warning, bioweapons directed energy systems, Strategic Petroleum Reserve Venezuelan oil, Minneapolis ICE protests Abolish ICE, sanctuary city funding cutoff, citizenship revocation fraud, CIA operations Greenland Arctic, China hypersonic missile threat Taiwan, Iran protest death toll Trump decision, Argentina Milei loan repayment

Well, because of Mark's association with Peter, we can learn not just what the Lord said and did in public, but what He revealed to the Twelve in private. In this episode we'll complete that list of Jesus' public demonstrations of authority, then we'll follow Him where the crowds could not go. Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, Bryan explains why the White House believes Democrat Party fraud may decide the 2026 midterms, breaks down Trump's push to cap credit card interest rates, unpacks the legal showdown with Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, and connects fast-moving global developments in Venezuela, China, Mexico, Taiwan, and Iran. The White House's Midterm Strategy: Follow the Fraud: The Trump administration plans to center the midterms on massive fraud in Democrat run states, starting with Minnesota but expanding to New York, Maine, Massachusetts, and California. Investigations reveal Medicaid, daycare, food stamp, and nonprofit fraud involving migrants, with billions in taxpayer dollars potentially sent overseas or recycled into political donations. Bryan argues the scope could shock voters across party lines, especially as Democrats openly admit the fraud while trying to delay investigations through lawsuits. Trump Orders Credit Card Rate Cap: President Trump ordered banks to lower credit card interest rates to no more than 10 percent, down from averages above 20 percent. Banks warn the move could eliminate credit access for risky borrowers, while Trump argues banks abused consumers and can remain profitable at lower rates. Bryan presents the facts and competing arguments, noting the policy is aimed squarely at easing middle-class frustration ahead of the midterms. Legal War With the Federal Reserve: Fed Chair Jerome Powell confirmed he is under criminal investigation for allegedly lying to Congress about a $2.5 billion renovation of Fed headquarters. Powell claims the probe is politically motivated, while Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent privately warned Trump that prosecuting Powell could spook markets and raise borrowing costs. So far, markets remain calm, but Bryan flags this as a major political and economic risk. Trump Tightens the Squeeze Globally: Trump's Venezuela operation continues to ripple worldwide. China is now paying higher prices for Canadian oil after losing access to cheap Venezuelan crude. Russia has dared the U.S. to seize openly flagged Russian oil tankers, escalating the ghost fleet standoff. Mexico avoided pressure to cut oil to Cuba, likely in exchange for deeper cooperation against cartels that are now using fiber optic drones along the border. Taiwan and Iran Watch Closely: Chinese military planners are studying Trump's Venezuela "snatch and grab" operation as a possible model for Taiwan, although internal purges are slowing Beijing's readiness. Meanwhile, Trump announced new 25 percent tariffs on countries that trade with Iran, primarily targeting China. As protests rage across Iran, Trump is weighing whether to strike regime forces responsible for the crackdown, with a decision expected soon.   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32     Keywords: January 13 2026 Wright Report, Democrat fraud midterm strategy, Medicaid migrant fraud investigations, Tim Walz Minnesota scandal, Trump credit card interest cap, banks interest rate debate, Jerome Powell criminal investigation Fed renovation, Scott Bessent market warning, Venezuela oil squeeze China Russia ghost fleet, Mexico cartel drones border, Taiwan snatch and grab fears, Iran protests Trump strike decision

Welcome to Day 2774 of Wisdom-Trek. Thank you for joining me. This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to Wisdom. Day 2774– The Day Mary Met Gabriel - Luke 1:26-56 Putnam Church Message – 12/07/2025 Luke's Account of the Good News - “The Day Mary Met Gabriel”   Last week, we continued our year-long study of Luke's Narrative of the Good News in a message titled: “A Baby at our Age? Get Serious!” This week is the second Sunday of Advent, which is Peace, as we continue to build anticipation of the coming Messiah. Today's passage is the story of: “The Day Mary Met Gabriel.” – Peace in the Unexpected. Our Core verses for this week will be Luke 1:26-56, found on page 1588 of your Pew Bibles.  The Birth of Jesus Foretold 26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth's pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” 29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob's descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” 34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” 35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[b] the Son of God. 36 Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37 For no word from God will ever fail.” 38 “I am the Lord's servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. Mary Visits Elizabeth 39 At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, 40 where she entered Zechariah's home and greeted Elizabeth. 41 When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43 But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” Mary's Song 46...

Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show might also be in your audio wheelhouse. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Poor Choices and Chaos the fatal ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis that has sparked nationwide controversy. Clay and Buck dissect the incident where a 37-year-old woman allegedly used her vehicle to obstruct federal immigration enforcement, resulting in her death. They emphasize video evidence showing the ICE officer acted in self-defense, countering claims from Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz, who labeled the shooting as excessive force and called for protests. The hosts argue this tragedy reflects a deeper problem within the Democratic Party’s anti-law enforcement rhetoric, which encourages dangerous confrontations with federal officers. VP Vance Calls Out the Left Live White House briefing featuring Vice President JD Vance and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who deliver a fiery defense of ICE and condemn the media for spreading “lies” about the incident. Vance asserts that the woman killed was part of a broader left-wing network aimed at obstructing immigration enforcement through doxxing, harassment, and even domestic terrorism tactics. He vows tougher federal action, including a new Assistant Attorney General role to prosecute those inciting violence against law enforcement. The briefing underscores the administration’s stance: enforcing immigration law is non-negotiable, and Democrats must stop rallying mobs against federal officers. Good News for MAHA Moms Guest Katie Zacharia joins to weigh in on the political fallout and broader implications. She highlights how sanctuary city policies and anti-ICE activism have fueled violence and fraud, citing California’s staggering $72 billion fraud scandal under Gavin Newsom and systemic failures in oversight. Katie calls for federal action, including suspending aid to jurisdictions violating the Supremacy Clause. The conversation shifts to California’s ongoing crises: wildfire recovery delays in Malibu and Pacific Palisades, where red tape and environmental regulations have stalled rebuilding efforts, leaving homeowners with plummeting property values. Katie also breaks down the proposed 5% billionaire wealth tax, warning it will accelerate the exodus of tech moguls and entrepreneurs from California while funding Medi-Cal programs strained by free healthcare for illegal immigrants. The hour also touches on RFK Jr.’s food pyramid overhaul and vaccine schedule changes, which have energized “Maha Moms” and even some liberal parents seeking reform in children’s health standards. Katie praises Trump for empowering RFK Jr. to challenge Big Pharma and promote healthier policies. Audience Talkbacks! Clay and Buck then pivot to lighter—but fiery—cultural debates, including regional cuisine hot takes and the “most overrated foods” in America. From Philly cheesesteaks and mint juleps to Puerto Rican Mofongo, the hosts don’t hold back, sparking laughs and listener engagement. They also revisit the nostalgia (and regret) of Jägermeister shots and Jägerbombs, contrasting them with underrated drinks like espresso martinis and sangria. The segment closes with talkbacks from listeners proposing which states or territories to “sell off,” adding humor to an otherwise intense news cycle.
