In about 50 A.D., twenty years after Jesus Death Resurrection and Ascension Paul of Tarsus, one sent with authority by Jesus the Lord, to preach the Good News to the nations arrived in the City of Corinth, a prominent city of the Roman empire located on the trade route connecting the Aegean and Ionian seas. He immediately began announcing the Good News: "The Crucified Jesus is the True Lord of the world."  Those believing the message were shepherded into house churches.  Then Paul preached, taught and pastored in Corinth for 18 months before moving on to other cities of the empire. See Acts 18 In 53 A.D. Paul, now in Ephesus, receives letters from the Church at Corinth and from the household of a woman named Chloe, a leader in the church.  These letters revealed alarming divisions, cliques, sexual immorality, lawsuits against fellow members, abuse of the Lord's supper, unbelief in the resurrection of Jesus, and much more within the Corinthian church.  Making things worse, Paul was being mocked as a phony apostle by members of the church in Corinth. Paul writes the 1st letter to Corinth from Ephesus in 53 A.D. to address the beliefs and behaviors of this charismatic, but grossly immature and divided church. Those today who seek to build "new creation" churches within the American empire will be blessed by this great letter.  We will make a special point of discerning in 1 Corinthians the character of wisdom and foolishness, freedom and license, as well as spiritual and childish. Come join us in this series of Podcasts on "Freedom and the Corinthians" as we "eat Corinthians" together, growing in maturity in Christ together.

After a year that saw no shortage of heavy legal news, Mary and Andrew close out 2025 with an episode of positive judicial developments. They begin with the Supreme Court's decision denying President Trump's request to stay an injunction blocking the federalization of National Guard troops in Illinois, concluding that the statute the government used to justify it first requires an attempt to execute federal laws with the military – which would likely require invocation of the Insurrection Act. And nobody seems to want that. At least not yet. The co-hosts then turn to D.C. District Court Judge Jeb Boasberg's decision on the Trump administration's use of the Alien Enemies Act. He wrote that because the U.S. maintained constructive custody over Venezuelans expelled to El Salvador, they are legally owed due process rights. Last up, they note two judges who are demanding proof that the government is not acting vindictively — from the administration's prosecution of Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the presidential memo that stripped the security clearance of national security lawyer Mark Zaid.Editors' Note: While Andrew and Mary were recording this episode, an order from Judge Crenshaw in Abrego Garcia's criminal case was unsealed. It confirms the DOJ pushed to prosecute Kilmar Abrego Garcia only after he was mistakenly deported. Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this New Year's Eve Headline Brief of The Wright Report, Bryan delivers major economic updates, exposes collapsing green energy narratives, explains the White House's aggressive new asylum strategy, and revisits the explosive Somali fraud scandal in Minnesota that is now dominating national politics. He closes with a reflection on truth, power, and why elites work so hard to stop Americans from asking hard questions. Good News for Your Wallet: Pending home sales jumped 3.3 percent in November, the strongest showing in three years, driven by rising wages and lower mortgage rates. Rents are falling across most major cities, creating the most renter-friendly market in at least a decade. HUD data shows that two-thirds of rental demand came from the foreign-born, meaning deportations and self deportations are directly increasing housing supply and lowering prices for native born Americans. The Cheap Labor Myth Collapses: After more than two and a half million illegal migrants have left the country, GDP and wages are rising while rents and crime fall. Bryan argues Americans were lied to for decades by elites who claimed cheap foreign labor was necessary. The data now shows the opposite, and he calls the moment revolutionary. Green Energy Reality Check: China's renewable energy boom is largely a mirage, with many wind and solar projects never connected to the grid. Beijing is simultaneously expanding coal plants across Southeast Asia. Global wind speeds and solar efficiency are declining, and Japan is restricting solar farms for environmental and aesthetic reasons. Bryan says the global green movement is now in retreat. Trump's New Asylum Strategy: The White House is canceling large numbers of asylum claims and sending others to third countries like South Sudan or Palau while cases are reviewed. The administration says most asylum claims are fraudulent and designed to exploit loopholes. Democrats accuse Trump of abandoning human rights. DOJ Targets DEI Programs: The Justice Department is using the False Claims Act to pressure federal contractors to dismantle Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs. Companies must either eliminate DEI or face massive fines for defrauding the government. Universities Face a Financial Shake-Up: The Trump administration wants universities and venture capital firms to share profits from taxpayer-funded research. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is pushing for equity stakes or cash returns when patents are commercialized. Elon Musk Enters the Midterm Fight: Despite past clashes with Republicans, Elon Musk says he will spend hundreds of millions of dollars to help the GOP keep Congress. He cites fears of Democrat censorship, economic control, and what he calls ideological extremism. Minnesota's Somali Fraud Scandal Explodes: Federal investigators say Somali-run nonprofits defrauded taxpayers of at least nine billion dollars through fake daycares, autism services, food programs, and Medicaid scams. Money funded luxury lifestyles, Islamist terror groups, and Democratic campaigns. Governor Tim Walz halted earlier investigations after activists accused the state of racism. A Somali academic told the New York Times that fraud is culturally encouraged, a statement Walz has avoided addressing. Bryan explains why Elon Musk now calls the governor "Traitor Tim." A New Year's Reflection: Bryan closes by urging listeners to reject elite deflections and keep demanding the truth. He argues that the real battle ahead is not left versus right, but truth versus lies, and promises that this podcast will continue to challenge power with facts, logic, and reason in the year ahead.   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32     Keywords: pending home sales rent decline deportations, cheap labor myth wages GDP, China coal expansion fake green energy, Trump asylum third country policy, DOJ False Claims Act DEI, university patent profit sharing Lutnick, Elon Musk GOP midterms funding, Minnesota Somali fraud nine billion dollars, Tim Walz investigation, al Shabaab terror funding

Have you ever wondered, “What is the point of following Jesus?” You may have even heard someone say, “Believe in Jesus so you won't go to hell.” That's part of the story, but the Good News of Jesus is so much bigger! And it's not just about the afterlife. It's also about the now-life! This is how Jesus described eternal life when he was praying to God, His Father…He said, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” Eternal life is not just about where you go when you die—it's also about knowing God now. Following Jesus is about a relationship of love, forgiveness, and it's about hope. And it can begin today, and it will last… forever! You can begin right now by praying, “Jesus, I want to know You. Please forgive me. Help me to start now, this eternal friendship with You.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

In this Christmas Eve message, we explore the deeper story behind Go Tell It on the Mountain—a song born among enslaved African-Americans, carried through generations, and rooted in Luke 2. We trace the angel's announcement of “good news of great joy for all the people,” and consider why Christians speak so openly and urgently about Jesus. When good news creates great joy, it gets shared. You'll hear a vivid retelling of the shepherds' encounter, the physiological contrast between fear and joy, the gospel's claim that God welcomes the unworthy, and a clear call to give your next year to following Jesus with His people. The same God who broke into the night sky breaks into lives today. In this message, we wrestle with questions like:· What makes the Christian message “Good News” rather than advice or pressure?· Why does the angel link the arrival of Jesus with “great joy”?· How does Luke 2 show that Christmas is truly “for all the people”?· What does the origin of Go Tell It on the Mountain reveal about hope in suffering?· What could happen if someone gave Jesus and His Church the next year of their life?Support our mission and learn more atwww.alloflife.churchGive to the work of the gospel herewww.alloflife.churchcenter.com/giving

Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Gerry Dulac and Ray Fittipaldo recap coach Mike Tomlin's weekly news conference ahead of an NFL Week 18 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens that will decide the AFC North. They explain that Calvin Austin III, T.J. Watt, James Pierre, Isaac Seumalo and Brandin Echols are all trending in positive directions on the injury front but that Watt, at least, may be limited in terms of snap count. They also ponder ways OC Arthur Smith can boost the offense after an ugly outing in Week 17 against the Browns. Could we see QB Aaron Rodgers attempt to use a higher tempo to keep the Ravens off-balance in the absence of DK Metcalf? Will the play calls be more sensible on crucial downs? And will RB Kenneth Gainwell be more involved without having Myles Garrett to worry about on the blocking front? Our duo tackles those questions and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. 2025 is drawing to a close and often the news that reached us was not exactly uplifting. But there are also positive things to report, as 2025 was a good year in wildlife conservation. Even when it comes to human rights, the year has seen some improvement.

Luke 2:8-21 8 And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. 10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest,     and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”[a] 15 When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. 17 And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. 18 And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart. 20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them. 21 And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

As we celebrate seven years of Fed by the Fruit and stand on the threshold of 2026, KB shares a powerful New Year reflection that goes beyond resolutions and fresh starts. Exploring the truth that "all that's gold doesn't always glitter," this episode reminds us that God's greatest gift came without fanfare or fireworks—a baby in a humble manger who would offer us the ultimate new beginning. Through James 1:17 and personal insights from a conversation with Asher, KB unpacks why the real hope of a new year isn't found in our efforts, but in God's unchanging gift of his son, Jesus Christ. This episode tackles one of the most challenging questions in faith: How could a just God send anybody to heaven? Drawing from Pastor Josh Howerton's teaching, KB explores the concepts of cosmic treason, unmerited grace, and the reality that heaven is the only place where things aren't "fair"—because everyone there deserved hell but received total forgiveness instead. Whether you're entering 2026 with questions about faith, salvation, or the reality of heaven and hell, this milestone episode offers a thoughtful examination of God's perfect gift and an invitation to embrace the new beginning only Jesus can give. This episode serves as both an informative guide to embrace a healthier, more balanced lifestyle, encouraging listeners to embark on their journeys with renewed vigor and compassion.Reach out to KB on Instagram and share your thoughts.

Pastor Chad shares a forward-looking, faith-filled message centered on what God is calling the church into for 2026, built around three themes: going higher, walking in God's favor, and sharing the good news boldly. Drawing from Habakkuk, Luke, and Romans, he teaches that not every obstacle is meant to be removed—some mountains are meant to be climbed, because it's on the ascent that God strengthens faith and reveals who He is. He emphasizes that God's favor is not about a pain-free life, but about God's unearned grace empowering believers beyond their own ability in every season. Finally, he challenges the church to embrace its obligation, eagerness, and boldness to share the gospel, reminding listeners that the good news carries real power to change lives and that God is actively stirring a fresh movement of evangelism for the days ahead.
