A single word lit up in the Akashic Records this week and reshaped our focus: preserve. Not as clinging or fear, but as an intimate practice of caring for what genuinely matters when life gets loud—joy, sanctuary, purpose, and the quiet essence that makes your days feel true. We walk through how that message arrived, from a jar of jelly to a life preserver, and use those images to ground a season that's heavy with retrogrades, change, and inner second-guessing.I share a simple way to run a values inventory that actually holds under pressure, then translate it into small, practical steps that protect your energy without numbing your heart. Think of yourself as the park ranger of your inner preserve: you check the perimeter, notice what's creeping in, and tend the systems that keep your ecosystem healthy. We reframe the mundane—tidying, budgets, routines—as spiritual scaffolding that quietly safeguards the very qualities you love: peace, creativity, presence.A timely Tarot pull, The World, rounds out the conversation. It's the threshold between cycles, an invitation to honor what completed, carry forward the essence, and let the form evolve. I talk about shifting the podcast format as a living example of this: the core intention stays, the container adapts. If you're standing in an in-between, this is a gentle map. Preserve what's real, set a boundary where it leaks, and plant one seed for the next chapter. If this resonates, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs steadiness right now, and leave a quick review. Inside the Mind of a Compulsive Gambler with Louis Ruggiero | The Hopeaholics PodcastIn this gripping episode of The Hopeaholics Podcast, Louis Ruggiero lays everything on the table as he shares his unbelievable journey through addiction, gambling, destruction, and redemption. From the moment he first sat at a blackjack table at just 15 years old and turned $200 into $9,000, Louis became hooked on the rush—a rush that would ultimately cost him over $10.2 million, countless relationships, and nearly his life. He opens up about his battles with opioids, alcohol, and gambling, his public downfall after a headline-making arrest in New York City, and the years of chaos that followed as he spiraled deeper into addiction while trying to hold onto a facade of success. Louis paints a vivid picture of the highs of Vegas suites, private jets, and massive wins, followed by the devastating lows of broken promises, debt, and suicidal thoughts. Yet through all the pain, he found redemption in recovery—turning to Gamblers Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, and the 12-step program to rebuild not only his sobriety but his sense of purpose. Now, nearly a year sober from gambling and years clean from drugs and alcohol, Louis is using his platform and his podcast Nothing's Off the Table to shine a light on the realities of addiction and the hope found in recovery. His story is brutally honest, deeply human, and serves as a reminder that no matter how far you fall, it's never too late to change, heal, and rise again.#thehopeaholics #redemption #recovery #AlcoholAddiction #AddictionRecovery #wedorecover #SobrietyJourney #MyStory #Hope #wedorecover #treatmentcenter #natalieevamarieJoin our patreon to get access to an EXTRA EPISODE every week of ‘Off the Record', exclusive content, a thriving recovery community, and opportunities to be featured on the podcast. https://patreon.com/TheHopeaholics Go to www.Wolfpak.com today and support our sponsors. God's mighty resurrection power is available to us and working within us. This is a major them in Ephesians. Discover how the Holy Spirit provides revelation and wisdom to help us lay hold of and walk in God's power within us, the same power that raised Christ from the dead and is now active in our lives. God's mighty power is in us, through the Holy Spirit, and it is available to us, but we need to have a revelation of this power, so that we can draw upon it by faith, as well as the wisdom to walk in that power, for it is released through our obedience. Ephesians 1 gives us a revelation of this mighty power, by describing what it has already accomplished when it was released in Christ, when He was (1) made alive from the dead, (2) raised far above all powers, and (3) enthroned on high. Then Ephesians 2 describes what this resurrection power accomplished in our spirits when we were born again in Christ: (1) Our spirit was made alive with Christ, changing us from spiritual death to being spiritually alive to God. (2) Our spirit was raised far above all opposing powers (sin, satan and the world), for His victory was imparted to our spirit. (3) Our spirit was seated with Christ far above, having been empowered to reign with Christ. This same power is available to us in our life today! (Ephesians 3:20).
As we close our series on prayer, Jesus shows us the clearest contrast between the prayers God rejects and the prayers He receives. In Matthew 6, He exposes the empty, self-centered, performance-driven prayers that lead nowhere—and then gives us the pattern for prayer that moves heaven. In this episode, we will walk through practical examples of “wrong prayers” and compare them to the God-honoring posture modeled in the Lord's Prayer. Silence becomes a teacher when it pushes us toward praying the way Jesus instructed.

Pastor Mark shares powerful insights on prayer, finding your season of life, and putting faith into action. The spiritual journey begins not with lofty mystical pursuits but with the practical, inner decision to handle reality as it unfolds. Most of our suffering stems from our inability to deal with inner energies that arise due to past events we have stored for years. By learning to stay present, let go, and work with these energies, we purify ourselves and allow shakti to flow freely, eventually reaching a state of inner liberation and wholeness. © Sounds True Inc. Spiritual awakening can shake your faith in ways you never expected. When everything you once believed starts to feel uncertain, it's easy to wonder if any of it was real. In this episode, I share a deeply personal message from my Pleiadian guide that revealed the truth about why so many lightworkers reach this breaking point, and what it really means for your journey ahead.
There are times when it feels like our prayers bounce off the ceiling — unanswered, unheard, unnoticed. But Scripture shows us that God does respond when we pray according to His will, in faith, and from a place of obedience. In this episode, we explore what it means to pray in Jesus' name, why surrender is more powerful than insistence, and how aligning our desires with God's purposes opens Heaven's doors. This isn't about manipulating God's hand — it's about joining His heart.

Saturn and Neptune are Retrograde in Pisces, bringing a period of deep introspection—and potential emotional pitfalls. The energy feels foggy, exhaustive, and heavy, putting our defenses to the test. Be aware: the temptation toward escapism will be high, whether through old addictions like drugs, alcohol, and food, or behaviors like doomscrolling, overeating, or toxic relationships. In this episode, we address our foundational question for this mini-series: What does baptism have to do with church membership? Should baptism be a requirement for membership? Are baptism and church membership two distinct commitments, or are they linked in the life of the church? How should Christians think of the connection between the two? Join us as we explore how Christians can think biblically about the relationship between baptism and church membership, and what Providence will practice moving forward.ResourcesPodcast Episodes138 - Commitments of Church Members139 - Proclaim and Protect, Contribute, Sacraments089 - Infant Baptism (with Kyle McClellan)090 - Believer's Baptism (with Bobby Jamieson)WrittenCovenantal (presbyterian)Westminster Confession of Faith 28.1“Baptism is a sacrament of the New Testament, ordained by Jesus Christ, not only for the solemn admission of the party baptized into the visible church, but also to be unto him a sign and seal of the covenant of grace…”Book of Order (Presbyterian Church U.S.A.)G-1.0303 - Church Membership"A faithful member accepts Christ's call to be involved responsibly in the ministry of his Church... Today we're trashing feminism some more, because it obviously deserves it. Feminism is not only unbiblical, it's extremely destructive for all of society. We'll talk about why Christian podcasters like Allie Beth Stuckey shouldn't defend their feminism while claiming to follow Christ, and why Christianity itself is a patriarchy, by God's design. It's time for biblical men to stop waiting for permission from feminists and take back the authority God gave them. We'll also discuss more of the Trump administration's mistakes, including this ridiculous new 50-year mortgage idea that proves how far from wisdom our leaders have fallen.

In this conversation, you'll discover:Why your achievement addiction is actually a fear response in disguiseHow play unlocks the creative parts of yourself productivity destroysThe real reason you can't rest (and how to finally stop running) When was the last time you did something just because it was fun?Not because it would advance your career. Not because it would make you a better parent or partner. Not because it would optimize your health or expand your network. Just because it brought you joy.If you're sitting there drawing a blank, you're not alone. Most of us have turned our entire lives into one giant to-do list. We've optimized the fun right out of existence.I realized this recently when I noticed that every single thing on my calendar served a purpose. Work meetings. Kid activities. Workouts. Networking events. Even my "fun" plans were really just relationship maintenance or personal development in disguise. There was literally nothing on there that was pure play. Nothing that existed just because it lit me up inside. We've been sold this idea that adulthood means being serious. Responsible. Productive. But somewhere along the way, we confused being an adult with being joyless. In Vedic philosophy, there's this concept of lila. Divine play. The idea that creation itself is an act of joyful expression, not serious business. That the universe is literally playing itself into existence. And yet here we are, treating our one precious life like a performance review.Links from the episode:Show Notes: mindlove.com/427Join the Mind Love CollectiveSign up for The Morning Mind Love for short daily notes to wake up inspiredSupport Mind Love SponsorsSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
How do you know if you're actually growing spiritually? Most of us measure faith the wrong way: by what we do instead of who we're becoming. In this episode, Patrick and Keith explore how God measures spiritual growth, why giftedness doesn't equal godliness, and how focusing on checklists can actually stunt your maturity. You'll learn what true growth looks like, what the Bible says about godly character, and how to measure your progress the way God does: slowly, deeply, and from the inside out.

In this encouraging episode of the Compared to Who? podcast, host Heather Creekmore delves deep into the ever-present fear of missing out—aka FOMO. As part of the “Fear Free Fall” series, Heather unpacks the spiritual roots of FOMO, exploring how it impacts our faith, contentment, and even our relationship with God. Heather explains that FOMO isn’t just a modern phenomenon brought on by social media; it goes back as far as the Garden of Eden. Through honest reflection and biblical truth, she challenges listeners to consider whether FOMO is really about doubting God’s goodness and wondering if He’s holding out on us. You’ll learn: Why FOMO can reveal a lack of “little faith” in your daily life The connection between social media envy and spiritual insecurity How the story of Adam and Eve perfectly illustrates our struggle with FOMO Why God’s timing isn’t the same as God’s favor, and what that means for you The myth of competition and the futility of trying to “win” at life through comparison How to stop chasing others’ dreams and dig into your unique, God-given calling What true abundance and blessing really look like—and how it differs from what social media promises Heather encourages listeners to stop focusing on someone else’s life and instead trust that God’s plan for YOU is personal, intentional, and truly satisfying. If comparison has kept you feeling “less than,” this episode offers authentic hope and practical gospel wisdom to help you stop comparing and truly start living. “The Lord says to Edom, ‘I will cut you down to size among the nations; you will be greatly despised. You have been deceived by your own pride because you live in a rock fortress and make your home high in the mountains. “Who can ever reach us way up here?” you ask boastfully. But even if you soar as high as eagles and build your nest among the stars, I will bring you crashing down,' says the Lord.” - Obadiah 1:2-4Obadiah is the shortest book of the Old Testament. Standing at one chapter, 21 verses, it's a quick yet pointed announcement of judgment against the land of Edom. While the book is short, it didn't stop my guest and me from talking about it for nearly 45 minutes. Obadiah has a lot to teach us on what God is judging Edom about, while also warning us what to be on the lookout for in our own lives. It's a book about the results of pride, violence, and apathy. To help us navigate the book of Obadiah is Dr. Paul Raabe, Professor Emeritus of Exegetical Theology at Concordia Seminary, author of a commentary on Obadiah, as well as a new commentary on Isaiah and Reclaiming the Creedal Jesus in America. In this episode, Samuel Goulet emphasizes the importance of anchoring prayer in biblical understanding and practice, using the imagery of the upper room to illustrate the significance of waiting upon the Lord and praying according to God's will rather than personal desires. He highlights how the transformative power of waiting and prayer refines and prepares individuals for the fulfillment of God's promises, drawing parallels between the disciples' experience and the process of spiritual growth. Samuel encourages listeners to pursue a prayer life that seeks God's will, fostering personal transformation and a deeper connection with the divine. [ivoox.com]
In this episode, Samuel Goulet explores the foundational role of solitude and silence in prayer, emphasizing that true intimacy with God begins when we separate ourselves from distractions and embrace stillness. Drawing on biblical examples and teachings, Samuel discusses the challenges of being alone with God, such as anxiety and restlessness, and encourages listeners to build a regular practice of quiet time with God. He offers practical advice for scheduling solitude, highlighting how spiritual growth unfolds as we consistently seek God in the secret place, ultimately calling listeners to cultivate spiritual maturity by knowing God personally and pressing on even when it feels awkward or difficult.
