What if manifestation isn't about thinking positive thoughts, but about what your nervous system is actually broadcasting to the universe? In this solo reflection, Will dives deep into the misunderstood idea of the “feel-good frequency”, not as spiritual bypassing, but as a practical intersection of consciousness, emotional healing, and real-world tools that support authentic spiritual awakening. Inspired by Rhonda Byrne's Countdown to Riches, this episode challenges a common trap in modern spirituality: trying to meditate your way out of unresolved emotional wounds. Instead, Will makes a grounded, sometimes uncomfortable case for why energy healing must be paired with 3D inner work, including therapy, shadow work, and emotional processing, if manifestation is ever going to stick. You'll explore:Why consciousness responds to emotion, not intentionHow suppressed experiences quietly block spiritual growth and abundanceThe difference between raising your frequency and avoiding your painWhy spiritual teachers increasingly emphasize integration over transcendenceSimple, immediate tools to shift your emotional state when life feels heavyHow genuine healing opens the door to intuition development and aligned actionThis episode is especially for seekers who love modern spirituality, but refuse to abandon logic, self-responsibility, or psychological truth in the process. If you've ever wondered why manifestation “works for everyone else,” or why your spiritual growth feels stalled despite doing all the right practices, this conversation offers a grounded, compassionate—and very real—answer.Subscribe, Rate & Review! You can admire spiritual maturity from a distance, or you can take your formation journey seriously. Many of us prefer the former. We outsource growth to personalities, call delayed obedience "wisdom," and bargain with God when surrender would cost too much. This week on Win Today, Dr. Eric Mason joins me to confront the quiet drift that hollows discipleship: the consumer posture that fuels bad teaching, the spiritual immaturity that bargains with God, and the confusion that happens when we make our assignment our purpose. If your faith has been built around sermons more than Scripture, preferences more than practices, or outcomes more than obedience, this conversation is your invitation to grow up on purpose, with the Spirit, for the long road of holiness. Guest Bio Dr. Eric Mason is the founder and lead pastor of Epiphany Fellowship in Philadelphia and the founder/president of Thriving, an urban ministry training leaders for city contexts. A pastor-theologian for nearly three decades, he has preached and trained nationally and internationally and authored several books. He holds a B.S. in Psychology (Bowie State), a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary—where he was mentored by Dr. Tony Evans at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship—and a D.Min. from Gordon-Conwell. What if the stress, fear, and autopilot living so many of us experience isn't “just life”… but a kind of invisible matrix we've been conditioned to accept? In this episode of The Skeptic Metaphysicians, Will and Karen sit down with former attorney turned spiritual teacher Casey Berman, who walked away from a high-powered legal career after a profound awakening forced him to question success, identity, and what it actually means to live with consciousness and intention. Rather than preaching escape fantasies or spiritual bypassing, Casey delivers a grounded, pragmatic approach to spiritual awakening and spiritual growth; one rooted in awareness, personal responsibility, and small, actionable steps. He shares how fear, societal conditioning, and identity traps keep us disconnected from our true nature, and how reconnecting with presence can quietly transform everything from career choices to parenting. This conversation explores:How awakening often begins with subtle moments, not dramatic near-death experiencesWhy fear and anxiety are powerful signals, not personal failuresThe role of consciousness in dismantling stress, burnout, and misalignmentHow intuition development happens naturally when we unplug from constant noiseWhy soul purpose isn't found, it's rememberedThe difference between “escaping the matrix” and learning from itYou'll also hear why Casey believes modern spirituality must be practical to be sustainable, and how awareness alone can be a form of energy healing without ever calling it that. If you've felt disconnected, uninspired, or quietly questioning the life you're living, this episode offers a grounded reminder: awakening doesn't require abandoning your world...it begins by seeing it clearly. Key Topics DiscussedSpiritual awakening without spiritual theatricsConsciousness as a tool for everyday lifeFear, stress, and societal conditioningIntuition development through awarenessParenting after awakeningSoul purpose vs. external successLiving fully present in a distracted worldWhy This Episode Matters This is not a conversation about “escaping reality.” It's about waking up inside it, and learning how to live with clarity, intention, and agency in a world designed to keep you distracted. If you've been sensing there's more, without wanting to abandon logic, responsibility, or common sense, this episode meets you exactly where you are.Subscribe, Rate & Review! “Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey - riding on a donkey's colt.” - Zechariah 9:9In my opinion, Zechariah is a diamond of a book. It has so many facets, so many ways to approach it and points of emphasis and things to teach. Last week we talked about Haggai and Zechariah is a partner book - we are still in the post-exilic period talking about rebuilding the temple. But Zechariah covers a lot of ground. It talks about returning to the Lord. There are chapters of visions we haven't really seen the like of since Daniel and Ezekiel. There are calls to justice and mercy, promises of blessings and a beautiful look ahead to the coming Messiah and the second advent still to come. As I said, this is an incredibly rich, multifaceted book. To help us navigate it is Dr. Andrew Hill, Professor of Old Testament Emeritus at Wheaton College and author of a commentary on Zechariah. Doable Discipleship is a Saddleback Church podcast produced and hosted by Jason Wieland. In a world that feels louder than ever, many of us are quietly asking the same questions: Can I really hear God? How do I know it’s Him? And what do I do when He speaks? That’s why I’m so grateful for this week’s episode of The Love Offering Podcast, where I sit down with Bible teacher and author Rachael Groll to talk about her book, Knowing God’s Voice: What Female Prophets of the Bible Teach Us About Recognizing, Trusting, and Obeying God. In our conversation, Rachael helps us slow down and look closely at the lives of women in Scripture who truly heard from God—and faithfully responded. Some of their stories are familiar; others are rarely taught, but all remind us that God has always spoken to women and continues to do so today. Together, we talk about: How to discern the difference between God’s voice, our own thoughts, and the voice of the enemy How to grow in confidence when God is leading you to take a step of obedience What Scripture teaches us about women using their voices for God’s purposes How the historical and cultural context of biblical women brings clarity and encouragement for us today This conversation is deeply rooted in God’s Word and gently reminds us that listening to Him is not reserved for a select few—it’s an invitation for every believer who desires to walk closely with Him. If you’ve ever felt unsure, overlooked, or hesitant to trust what God is stirring in your heart, I think this episode will encourage you in meaningful ways. You can listen to the full episode wherever you get your podcasts, and I pray it helps you listen closely, trust more deeply, and walk faithfully in the light God gives you—one step at a time. When sensitivity turns into over-identification, it stops being a gift and becomes a burden. In this video, I share a simple awareness framework: noticing thoughts, bodily sensations, and emotional tone—without becoming them. You are a drop of Spirit, not the whole ocean. You can care deeply without carrying the weight of the world. Coherent alignment comes from balance, not force—and when thinking, feeling, and emotion realign, clarity and guidance naturally arise. Creative Intelligence meets you. Before we close, think of a trait you're proud of. Empathy. Sensitivity. Responsibility.Ask gently: Where might this be too much? Where might it need balance instead of suppression? That awareness alone can change everything.Learn more in my book Spiritual Parable: A 40-Day Practice.Want to learn more about CJ Miller? Conflict, suffering, and global instability aren't framed as failures of the system here, they're revealed as catalysts for awakening, testing whether we respond with fear or clarity. We also address why spiritual bypassing keeps people stuck, how vulnerability functions as a stabilizing force rather than a weakness, and why embodiment — not dissociation — is required for real spiritual maturity. If you've felt unsure how to stay grounded, this episode offers clarity. You'll Learn:[00:00] Introduction[02:22] What vulnerability reveals about transformation in the present[08:44] Alec's dream about his grandfather revealed the movement from 3rd to 4th density consciousness[15:19] The Buddha in Red Face story[21:11] Integrating masculine and feminine energies increases the strength of both rather than diminishing either[32:52] When Edmund discovered The Law of One[42:53] The eight densities of consciousness [53:01] Practicing love during division without falling into spiritual bypassing[01:10:01] Why those in service to self are actually serving us by offering opportunities to choose love[01:20:05] How the veil of forgetting and free will allow us to remember our true nature as creators[01:43:58] Distinguishing your own essence from external noise through stillness and Steiner's practices[01:57:35] Why true forgiveness becomes unnecessary when we understand our projections[02:17:16] Why we cannot return to tribal ways and must move forward with new forms of conscious community[02:39:30] What the Germanic and Slavic epochs reveal about humanity's progression from individual thinking to soul-warmed communityRelated The Way Forward Episodes:Beyond Verbal Autists, Telepathy & The Nature Of Thought with Melissa Jolly Graves | YouTubeSoulstice Magic, 13 Holy Nights & Neurogenic Qigong featuring Lara Day | YouTubeMemoirs of a Child Sex Slave: Quest For Love featuring Anneke Lucas | YoutubeResources Mentioned:Law of One | WebsiteBe Here Farm + Nature | WebsiteBeing Human Event | WebsiteBuddha in Redface by Eduardo Duran | BookTranscendent Sex by Jenny Wade | BookThe Red Lion by Maria Szepes | BookMutant Message Down Under by Marlo Morgan | Book or AudiobookClick here to enroll in the 2026 season of Being Human. In this stirring new season of the Commands of Christ Podcast, we move from principle to practice—tracing the commands of Jesus through the lives of men and women who lived them out with passion, humility, and dependence on Him. Christ's Commands in Action invites us into the stories of ordinary individuals throughout church history who, by God's grace, lived extraordinary lives marked by obedience to the Word of Christ. From well-known names like Hudson Taylor and George Müller to lesser-known saints whose quiet faith shaped generations, each biographical sketch highlights a specific command of Jesus, showing what it looks like to put His Word into action. More than historical recollection, this season is a call to follow Christ as others have before us—not by exalting people, but by glorifying the power and presence of God working through flawed, but faithful vessels. These testimonies build our faith, exalt the risen Christ, and offer practical encouragement for how we too can walk as His disciples today. As we explore a new life each week, we'll be reminded that the same Christ who empowered them is alive in us—and that His commands are not just to be studied, but lived.

What if the Exodus story is not just ancient history, but a picture of your own journey from bondage to abundance in Christ? In this message from Abundant Life Church, we open Exodus 12 to see how God delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt and how Jesus, our Passover Lamb, delivers us from the penalty and power of sin.Discover how the blood of the Lamb over the doorposts points to the cross, where Jesus was sacrificed so that judgment would “pass over” all who trust in Him. Learn why the first step into God's promised land of abundant life is applying the blood of Christ and leaving the old life behind. We'll explore key scriptures including Exodus 12, John 10:10, 1 Corinthians 5, and 1 Peter 2 to see how God calls His people out of darkness and into His marvelous light—transforming former slaves into a royal priesthood and holy nation, set free to worship and serve Him.Whether you feel stuck in spiritual Egypt, bound by sin, shame, or your past, this sermon will invite you to receive Jesus “in haste,” purge out the old leaven, and step into the freedom and new identity God has for you.Connect with us on Social Media ↴Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/abundantlifels/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/abundantlifelsConnect with Pastor Phil ↴Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PhilHopperKCInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/philhopper_kcBooks & Resources       https://livingproof.co/resources/booksListen to The Well Podcast ⤵Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5wadnywAMEK7c0E1qatMoY?si=SjH6Ko7VR3OoHrRy1yYLlQ&nd=1&dlsi=395ae55d95ac4b11Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-well/id1233267223YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR50sV854C2hogfBmv7YogvCjiNYLz9a2Find Your Next Step: https://alife.livingproof.co/Watch more sermons: https://abundant-life.com/sermons/Do you want to see your life changed by Jesus? What does it actually mean to grow as a Christian? In Part 1 of our new sermon series Growth: The Work of God, we begin at the very beginning — with seeds. Using Jesus' Parable of the Sower from Matthew 13, this message explores how spiritual growth starts, why it sometimes stalls, and what it takes to flourish in Christ no matter the season. From the Garden of Eden to the cross of Christ, Scripture reveals that God is a God of planting, cultivating, and multiplying life. While salvation is a gift, growth is intentional — and the condition of the soil matters. In this message, you'll discover: Why every follower of Jesus starts as a seed What prevents spiritual growth from taking root How Jesus restores access to abundant life Why church, Scripture, and prayer are essential for growth How your life was designed to bear fruit that blesses others Whether you're new to faith, returning to church, or have followed Jesus for decades, this message reminds us that there is always more — more life, more freedom, more flourishing in Christ

This sermon introduces the new year series, "My Job Depends on Ag," using agriculture as a metaphor for spiritual growth. The pastor begins with a confession about struggling to trust God with finances (both for the church's summer camp and the Amigo Row building project) and how asking for help led to miraculous provision. He emphasizes that spiritual growth is not like technology—it doesn't happen instantly with the push of a button. Instead, it's like farming: slow, incremental, often invisible, and dependent on creating the right conditions.Scripture References1 Corinthians 3:18: "And we all... are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory."Romans 8:28-30: God's purpose is for us to be "conformed to the image of his Son."Luke 8:4-15: The Parable of the Sower, illustrating four types of soil and the importance of perseverance for a harvest.1 Thessalonians 5:23-24: "The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it."Key PointsDon't Settle for Less: The pastor's confession highlights the temptation to settle when tired of contending. Whether in finances, relationships, or faith, God often calls us to press on rather than accept the status quo. We need community to spur us on when our own faith is weak.Growth is Like Agriculture, Not an App: Spiritual transformation is not a "zap" or a flash. It is organic, often invisible to the naked eye, and happens over time. Jesus used agricultural metaphors (soil, seed, harvest) because they accurately reflect how the Kingdom of God works.Intentionality vs. Accident: No one accidentally gets a great marriage, a fit body, or a deep relationship with Jesus. While growth ultimately comes from God (like a tree growing), we must be intentional about creating the conditions for that growth (planting, watering, tending). We cannot drift into spiritual maturity. The Parable of the Soils: Jesus explains that the same seed (God's Word) produces different results based on the soil of our hearts.Path: The enemy snatches the word away.Rocky Ground: No root; faith withers in testing.Thorns: Choked by worries, riches, and pleasures; does not mature.Good Soil: Hears, retains, and perseveres to produce a crop.ConclusionGod has a plan for your growth in 2026. He desires your transformation even more than you do. While we must be intentional, we can rest in the promise that "The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it." We are invited to partner with Him, tending the soil of our hearts so that His Word can produce a harvest.Calls to ActionAssess Your Intentions: On a scale of 1-10, how intentional are you about your spiritual growth? Move from hoping for accidental growth to planning for intentional formation.Refuse to Settle: identify areas where you have stopped contending for God's best (marriage, health, faith) and ask Him for renewed faith to press on.Tend Your Soil: As we begin this series, prepare your heart to receive God's Word. Identify any "rocks" or "thorns" (worries, distractions) that might be choking your growth. Support the show*Summaries and transcripts are generated using AI. Kick off your new year with a refreshing and hope-filled conversation about the pressure to set body-related goals and the journey toward real freedom. Hosts Heather Creekmore and Amy Carlson dig deep into why so many women set weight loss as their top resolution and how our culture’s diet obsessions impact families, friendships, and faith communities. You’ll hear honest stories, including “are we getting left behind?” anxiety, the latest health fads (GLP1s and fiber, anyone?), and powerful encouragement to seek God’s “how much more” rather than settle for the world’s lesser goals. Whether you’re a goal-setter, a recovering dieter, or someone wondering what you might be missing by chasing smaller jeans instead of a fuller life—this episode will inspire you to open your hands, journal, and pursue the abundance only God can give. **Get your FREE Obsessed-to-Blessed Mini course here. Journal Prompts from Today’s Episode What am I going to miss if I invest my time and energy into weight loss this year?(Reflect on what parts of your life could suffer or what experiences you might lose out on.) What parts of my life feel stunted or neglected because of my focus on body goals?(Take inventory of relationships, passions, or spiritual growth you could nurture instead.) What is my mind telling me ‘my life will begin when…’?(Finish this sentence honestly and challenge what you believe about starting to live.) What am I not asking God for that would truly bring “how much more” into my life?(Go before God with open hands – ask Him what He wants for you in 2026.) Who else is impacted by my health and eating practices?(Consider your kids, spouse, friends, or community and how your choices ripple out.) How does seeking smaller goals (like a certain weight or restriction) limit the breadth of my ‘garden’—my life?(Picture your life as a garden and consider what fruit you aren’t tending to.) “My life will start when…” versus “How much more does God have for me?”(Contrast your answer to these two prompts and pray for wisdom to pursue God’s best.) Bonus: Community Conversation StarterIf something in this episode resonated with you or led to a new insight or goal, Amy encourages listeners to share their goal or what God is inviting them into for 2026. ABOUT THIS MESSAGE Apostle Jim Raley preached an encouraging message of favor from the book of Ruth. Elimelek and his wife, Naomi left Bethlehem, meaning "house of bread" because of a famine, and went to Moab, a place of idolatry. After the death of her husband and sons, Naomi's daughter in law, Ruth refused to go back to her gods in Moab and chose to follow Naomi to Bethlehem. Ruth's refusal to go back resulted in great favor, provision, and being completely redeemed. NEXT STEPS Have you made the decision to follow Jesus? We're celebrating with you! In this inspiring Parshas Vayechi review, Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe highlights Jacob's individualized blessings to each son and grandson—emphasizing uniqueness over uniformity—as a model for parenting and personal growth. No "cookie-cutter" approach: every child has distinct talents to nurture, rejecting worldly "equality" (equal outcomes) for Torah's equal potential.Central focus: the eternal Friday-night blessing "Yisimcha Elokim k'Ephraim v'chi'Menashe"—Ephraim and Menashe, raised in decadent Egypt yet remaining steadfastly Jewish, became exemplars of harmony, resilience, and spiritual elevation despite surroundings. Rabbi Wolbe reveals the deeper charge: to merit such children, parents must emulate Yosef—unwavering commitment, resisting temptation, seeing divine plan in adversity. The episode calls for "intentional Judaism": deliberate steps forward (Shabbos observance, kashrut, relationships) rather than stagnation or excuses. Small, consistent improvements—rejecting complacency—honor our unique potential, transforming challenges into growth. Rabbi Wolbe urges viewing life as ongoing journey, not destination, with Hashem guiding every step._____________This episode of the Parsha Review Podcast is dedicated in honor of Lenny & Teresa FriedmanDownload & Print the Parsha Review Notes:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ncaRyoH5iJmGGoMZs9y82Hz2ofViVouv?usp=sharingRecorded at TORCH Meyerland in the Levin Family Studios (B) to a live audience on January 2, 2026, in Houston, Texas.Released as Podcast on January 2, 2026_____________Subscribe: Apple Podcasts (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/parsha-review-podcast-rabbi-aryeh-wolbe/id1651930083)Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/show/22lv1kXJob5ZNLaAl6CHTQ) to stay inspired! Share your questions at awolbe@torchweb.org or visit torchweb.org for more Torah content.  _____________About the Host:Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe, Director of TORCH in Houston, brings decades of Torah scholarship to guide listeners in applying Jewish wisdom to daily life.  To directly send your questions, comments, and feedback: awolbe@torchweb.org_____________Support Our Mission:Help us share Jewish wisdom globally by sponsoring an episode at torchweb.org.
