Send us Fan MailI have at times brought up adventures and screw-ups that have occurred during some of my overseas travels. The usual things all of us have experienced like delayed and canceled flights and lost luggage. But I've never heard anyone have a series of travesties quite like Tina Weiss had on what should have been a dream trip of a lifetime to Italy that she had carefully planned. This was a trip that was badly needed to heal herself following a drawn-out ordeal with her dad's gravely declining health, COVID, and then a botched dental surgery that left her in severe pain and unable to speak properly for three years. The trip from hell started from the time she first arrived at the airport to depart and found out she couldn't leave. Then once in Italy, she got robbed not once, but twice, leaving her without money or her passport, and essentially stranded with very limited means to find her way out, much less get around or even feed herself. While trying to extricate herself from her predicament, it seemed like one catastrophe would pile on after another, often bringing back memories of past traumas in her life, including a sexual assault, and experiencing anti-semitism while growing up in Mississippi. Through each step of her surreal Italian ordeal, Tina learned profound lessons that she shares throughout her book, “Fear to Faith,” which is a riveting read not only because you want to keep turning the pages to see how she is going to escape her ongoing nightmare trip, but because of what knowledge she acquired about self-strength, problem-solving in the most challenging conditions, and human nature. Tina had already built several businesses and a great charity called the Hugs and Smiles Children's Foundation, but this trip turned her into a puddle of frustration and emotions. Yet I found out while reading her book and in talking with her that she has developed a fierce strength, resilience, and determination to be able to battle anything that life will dish out. So it's great that she is sharing these lessons in faith, survival, and self-discovery with others through her book and a workbook she has developed that will help anyone to keep moving forward.Tina Weisstinaweiss.comtina@tinaweiss.comFacebook and LinkedIn Tina WeissInstagram @tinaweiss_authorYouTube @tinaweiss2744Fear to Faith is available on AmazonBill Stahlsilly_billy@msn.comFacebook and LinkedIn Bill StahlInstagram and Threads @stahlor and @coachstahlYouTube We Are Superman PodcastSubscribe to our Substack for my archive of articles of coaching tips developed from my more than three decades of experience, wild and funny stories from my long coaching career, the wit and wisdom of David, and highlights of some of the best WASP episodes from the past that I feel are worthwhile giving another listen.Search either We Are Superman Podcast or @billstahl8Register for the American Heroes Run: https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=133138

Most of us have tried to fix our relationship with money from the neck up. We've done the affirmations. We've read the books. We've tried to think differently, speak differently, believe differently. And yet the fear is still there. The guilt is still there. That low-level shame that shows up every time we look at our bank account, still there. What if the problem isn't your mindset at all? In this episode of The Skeptic Metaphysicians, Will and Karen sit down with Sarah McCrum, author of “Love Money. Money Loves You”, and one of the most grounded and genuinely surprising voices in the money consciousness space. Sarah isn't coming at this from a law of attraction angle, and she's not selling a manifestation formula. She's a Cambridge graduate and former BBC journalist who arrived at this work through personal loss, a business collapse, and one very strange afternoon where her pen started writing things she says she didn't come up with herself. What came through that pen became a book. And that book has quietly transformed the financial lives of more than twenty thousand business owners, investors, and families around the world. What Sarah discovered, and what this conversation unpacks in real time, is that money isn't a neutral force we can manipulate with the right thoughts. It's an energy. A powerful one. And like any relationship, the energy you bring to it determines what you get back. If you've ever caught yourself saying "I can't afford that," "people like me don't make that kind of money," or "I want more money but something about having it feels wrong," this episode is going to hit differently. Because according to Sarah, those aren't just thoughts. They're commands. And something in the fabric of how abundance moves through the world is listening. In this episode:What money consciousness actually means, and why it's fundamentally different from positive thinking or the law of attraction. Why trying to fix your money blocks at the mindset level is working against yourself, and what to work on instead. The automatic writing experience that changed Sarah's life at her lowest financial moment, and the first message she received: "I would like to tell you to love me."How your relationship with money mirrors every other relationship you have, including the unhealthy patterns. Why judging people who have money may be one of the most overlooked abundance blocks of all.The surprising connection between Chinese energy principles, acupuncture, and financial healing. What Sarah calls the three core instructions from money itself: relax, enjoy, love. Why the desire for prosperity isn't shallow or materialistic. It may be one of the deepest soul desires we carry.Enjoyed this episode? Leave us a five-star review on Apple Podcasts. It goes a long way toward getting conversations like this one in front of the people who need them most. How many signs do you need before you finally trust what you already know? Maybe you've pulled another card. Asked another friend. Booked another reading. Googled the angel number again. Listened to another podcast. Or asked the same question three slightly different ways, hoping this time the answer will finally make you feel certain. There's nothing wrong with seeking guidance. But sometimes, what looks like discernment is actually doubt dressed up as intuitive guidance. In this episode of Your Yes Filled Life, Brenda explores the difference between receiving spiritual guidance and using signs to search for certainty. She also shares a very recent experience from her own life: after spending much of July questioning whether she was on the right path, an opportunity arrived that reminded her just how much had already been unfolding behind the scenes. You'll hear Brenda explore: Why we keep looking for “one more sign” when we already have an answer How fear and nervous-system activation can make subtle intuitive information harder to notice Why intuitive guidance may be quieter than doubt Signs Brenda notices through numbers, animals, music, claircognizance, clairvoyance, and other intuitive experiences How empaths can lose track of their own knowing underneath other people's emotions, expressions, and opinions Why creating space is essential for Brenda's own discernment How Brenda approaches psychic mediumship without taking away a client's agency Why a reading, coach, or intuitive should support your self-trust rather than make you dependent on them The question to ask yourself when you're tempted to seek yet another answer Brenda also shares an exciting behind-the-scenes podcast story involving The Spiritual Investor host Elizabeth Ralph, plus an update on her upcoming conversation with Dr. Judith Orloff. The question to take with you: Am I looking for information I genuinely don't have, or am I looking for permission to trust what I already know? Welcome to The Daily. We are 4 days away from beginning our next book of the Bible. We are moving to the New Testament, 1 Peter. We are going to discover how to live holy in a hostile world. Go ahead and pick up your 1 Peter Scripture Journal now. And if you are a Project23 donor giving $35 or more per month, this has already been shipped to you. So become a donor and partner with us in Project23. Our text today is Hosea 14:5-6 I will be like the dew to Israel; he shall blossom like the lily; he shall take root like the trees of Lebanon; his shoots shall spread out; his beauty shall be like the olive, and his fragrance like Lebanon. — Hosea 14:5-6 Most people want transformation. Few people want the process that goes with it. Because we want instant everything. Instant results, maturity, freedom, and growth. But God rarely works that way. Just notice the images in the text. Dew. Roots. Branches. Blossoms. None of those happen overnight. The dew appears quietly. Roots grow unseen. Branches spread slowly. Yet over time, life emerges where there was nothing. That's how God works in us. A lot of people get discouraged because they don't see dramatic results. They assume growth isn't happening because it isn't instant. But healthy growth is usually steady growth. You may not notice it day-to-day. But over months and years, God is growing something beautiful beneath the surface. And notice one more detail: the growth doesn't begin with human effort. It begins with God. "I will be like the dew to Israel." God supplies what is necessary for the production of life. Our role is not to manufacture growth. Our role is to stay connected to the One who yields it. That means we must stay in His Word, stay in prayer, stay in fellowship, stay surrendered, and stay faithful. Then trust Him with the timing and the fruit. Faithful believers have always discovered this. God does some of his best and deepest work where nobody can see it—in the roots under the earth, into the branches. So don't despise small amounts of progress. And as we prepare to begin 1 Peter, we're going to discover that this kind of steady, rooted growth is exactly what believers need when living in a culture that constantly pressures them to compromise. DO THIS: Take a moment today to thank God for one area where you can see growth compared to a year ago. ASK THIS: Where have I become impatient with God's process? Am I focused more on visible results or faithful obedience? What small signs of growth can I thank God for today? PRAY THIS: Father, thank you for patiently growing me. Help me trust your process, remain rooted in you, and stay faithful even when growth feels slow. Amen. PLAY THIS: "Christ In Me"

What does it really mean to have faith? Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” But biblical faith isn't believing without evidence. It is trusting God because of what He has revealed about Himself. Peter said he and the other apostles were not following “cunningly devised fables.” John testified that they had heard, seen, and handled the Word of life. Thomas was told to believe because he had seen the risen Christ. And Jesus said there is a blessing for those who have not seen, yet believe. In today's episode, we examine what Scripture teaches about genuine faith—and why our faith can be firmly anchored in Jesus Christ.

Why does letting go of your own suffering feel like dying?Richard Moss breaks down why so many of us stay attached to our pain long after we've outgrown it, and why the act of letting go can feel like losing yourself entirely. This conversation goes beyond common advice about healing into what it actually means to touch a difficult feeling instead of fighting it, and why forcing yourself to forgive someone usually backfires. It's a different way of thinking about what your suffering has actually been doing for you all along. What you'll learn:Why your suffering might be protecting your sense of selfThe real difference between forgiveness and pretending to forgiveHow touching a hard feeling changes what it becomesRichard Moss, MD, is a former physician whose spontaneous spiritual awakening in 1977 completely changed his understanding of consciousness, healing, and human suffering. What would happen if you stopped trying to control the outcome and truly trusted God with every area of your life? In this powerful conversation, Reagan Kramer sits down with bestselling author, speaker, and radio host Susie Larson to talk about her new book, More Than You Can Imagine: What God Does When You Trust Him. Susie shares why trusting God is more than simply believing He is faithful—it is making the decision to surrender, obey, rest, and follow Him even when the path is difficult or the outcome is unclear. Susie opens up about seasons when her own trust in God was tested, including a powerful story about nearly walking away from speaking because of fear, physical challenges, and concern about what other people might think. Then God used an unexpected encounter with a bold woman to remind Susie that God is the One who called her—and He is the One who will sustain her. That moment challenged her to stop managing the outcome and start trusting God again. Reagan and Susie also explore how the enemy attacks our identity to undermine our trust, why the "little things" can sometimes be harder than the big challenges, and how we can challenge thoughts that don't line up with what Scripture says about who we are. One of the most powerful insights from the conversation is the difference between faith and trust: faith is our vision of who God is, while trust is our decision to act on that belief. Sometimes trusting God means moving forward. Sometimes it means fighting. And sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply resting and saying, "You've got this, God." Susie also shares about becoming more receptive to God's voice, encouraging others, and creating space to hear what God may want to speak into someone else's life. She emphasizes the importance of humility and testing what we believe we've heard from God rather than assuming every impression is automatically from Him. Most importantly, this episode is an invitation to ask: What part of your life are you still trying to control because you don't fully trust God? God may be asking you to surrender that area, take a step of faith, rest in Him, or simply say yes to what He's asking you to do. As Susie reminds us, God is able to do "exceedingly abundantly above and beyond" what we could ask or imagine—and the journey of trusting Him can transform every part of our lives. In this lesson from the Gate of Fear of Heaven (Shaar Yirat Shamayim), Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe continues the powerful parable of the royal soul. The human neshamah is compared to the daughter of a king—pure, precious, and lofty—yet placed inside a physical body filled with earthly desires. The body wants comfort, food, pleasure, materialism, and immediate gratification, while the soul longs for holiness and closeness to Hashem. This tension between body and soul is not a defect in creation; it is the very arena in which human greatness is achieved.Rabbi Wolbe explains that our mission is not to reject the physical world, but to elevate it. Physical experiences can become extraordinarily holy when directed properly. He illustrates this through marriage and intimacy: what the outside world may treat as merely physical can, within the sanctity of a Jewish marriage, become one of the holiest expressions of Divine service. Torah awakens the soul to remember its royalty and teaches us not to “sell ourselves cheaply” by living beneath our spiritual dignity. The lesson then turns to the unique privilege and responsibility of the Jewish people. Hashem gave us Torah and mitzvos as the means through which we recognize His greatness, develop Yirat Shamayim, and draw closer to Him. Looking at the heavens, the earth, the sun, moon, and stars can awaken awareness of the Creator—but Torah gives that awareness clarity and direction. Through learning and mitzvah observance, we begin to understand not only that Hashem exists, but what He wants from us.Rabbi Wolbe concludes by describing Yirat Shamayim as Hashem's greatest treasure. Gold, silver, possessions, and worldly success cannot compare to the clarity of knowing our relationship with God. The more we invest in Torah, mitzvos, and Hashem's wisdom, the more we awaken the royal soul within and recognize how privileged we are to live in a personal relationship with the Creator._____________This Podcast Series is Generously Underwritten by Peter & Becky BotvinRecorded at TORCH Centre in the Levin Family Studios (B) to a live audience on February 16, 2026, in Houston, Texas.Released as Podcast on August 11, 2026_____________This series on Orchos Tzadikim/Ways of the Righteous is produced in partnership with Hachzek.Join the revolution of daily Mussar study at hachzek.com.We are using the Treasure of Life edition of the Orchos Tzadikkim (Published by Feldheim)_____________Listen, Subscribe & Share: Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/jewish-inspiration-podcast-rabbi-aryeh-wolbe/id1476610783Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4r0KfjMzmCNQbiNaZBCSU7) to stay inspired! Think sharing the gospel means pointing out sin first? This teaching shows that's not what God asks, and never was. You'll hear how to reflect the Holy Spirit in how you talk to people—the same way people did in the book of Acts, where thousands came to Christ without a single threat or guilt trip. You'll leave this teaching with a simpler way to share your faith.

What's the difference between simply hoping something happens and having biblical hope?n Season 9, Episode 2 of More Than the Bag, Dr. Kerrie Carter-Walker breaks down the difference between regular hope—the kind that says, “I hope this works out”—and the biblical hope that is rooted in God's character, His promises, and His faithfulness.Biblical hope isn't wishful thinking. It isn't dependent on circumstances looking good. And it doesn't disappear just because you're still waiting.Biblical hope has an anchor. There will be seasons when what you see doesn't look anything like what God promised. There will be moments when disappointment, delay, and uncertainty challenge what you believe. There are moments when following Jesus is not easy. His teachings may challenge us, the road may become difficult, and the world may offer countless alternatives. Yet in John 6, Peter gives us one of the most powerful declarations of faith in Scripture: “Lord, to whom shall we go?” In this episode, we examine what it means to build our lives on Jesus Christ as the only true foundation. Jesus tells us not to be troubled, but to trust Him. He declares Himself to be the way, the truth, and the life. Paul reminds us that there is no other foundation than Jesus Christ, while Jesus Himself warns us that only those who build on His words will stand when the storms come. The question is simple but profound: Are you building your life on Christ—or on something that cannot withstand the storm?

Jeremiah 10-13
Sanctification is not just a personal journey. Colossians 3 makes it clear that growing more like Christ is deeply connected to how we treat the people around us. Paul calls believers to put off the marks of the old self, things like anger, malice, and lying, and to put on compassion, humility, patience, and love. Nearly everything on that list is relational. Spiritual growth was never meant to be a solo pursuit. It is meant to draw us closer to Christ and, in doing so, draw us closer to one another. Christ is the head, He is sufficient, and He calls us to walk together in step with His Spirit.Thank you for joining us at NorthRidge Church! Jeremiah 7-9
Part two of the "Run To Win" series. Pastor Richard continues to teach on how LIFE is a MARATHON, NOT a SPRINT. He shows that part of running is TRAINING. He continues with 2 more of the 12 Core Values as a church, SPIRITUAL GROWTH and REACHING OTHERS.
Discipleship begins with a simple but life-altering invitation from Jesus: “Follow me.” Before the disciples understand everything, before they feel ready, Jesus calls them into relationship with Himself. A disciple is not defined by how much they know, but by who they follow. As we follow Jesus, He changes us—and He sends us into His mission. This call still shapes what it means to be a disciple today.Support the show~ Changing lives with Jesus! Facebook | YouTubeInstagram @dscsienna
