Season 10 Final Episode The Pandemic has a lot of casualties and the second half of Season 10 was one of them. Rich talks about the past few months and gives us a glimpse of the future of this podcast while recapping the last few months of this dismal year. Rich talks about dives he did, things that happened, people who made a difference and leaves us on a positive note for this show.

Season 10 Episode 37 Rich talks about a dive he did on a brand new shipwreck during the invite-only trip last week. This new shipwreck was really cool with lots of artifacts and ship fixtures just waiting to be explored. Rich also talks about the Labor Day holiday weekend where he taught an Open Water Certification and another Discover Scuba Experience.

Season 10 Episode 36 Rich does a very early morning podcast from his truck as he heads to Hammond, Indiana to dive a new shipwreck recently discovered in Lake Michigan. The past weekend in Milwaukee was a blowout so he is eager to get back in the water to explore this new found discovery.

Season 10 Episode 31 Rich talks about his dive on a Unicorn, the Whaleback SS Clifton! Talks about the latest covid-19 casualty, the Breast Cancer Fund Raiser.

Season 10 Episode 30 Rich talks about his trip to Isle Royale with his family including his kids. The trip during covid is to a pretty much empty and closed down Isle Royale which made for a truly remarkable and spectacular trip.

Season 10 Episode 29 Rich talks about the trip to Munising and his kids going with him to Isle Royale. He talks about the fun of taking his kids on trips that they can enjoy and the differences of life during a pandemic.

Season 10 Episode 28 Rich chats about the 500 episodes and 10 years of DiverSync and the revolution of Podcasting since. He also talks about the changes of diving in the past 10 years. His discussion is about what has happened in his own evolution. Coping with the dynamics of the pandemic has made the latest evolution pretty spectacular.

Season 10 Episode 27 Rich talks about the changes that have happened at Lake Wazee since his last time there in 2010. A lot seems to have happened in 10 year and the dives were pretty awesome even though they were a bit limited by this being a quarry. At over 300ft deep, this quarry was a pretty awesome body of water.

Season 10 Episode 26 Rich is heading to Lake Wazee to finish the Tec60CCR. Recorded in his truck, Rich talks about making the trip out of the necessity and using the opportunity that the cancellations covid-19 has brought. This course was made possible by the postponement of the Truk Lagoon Expedition.

Season 10 Episode 25 Rich talks about his week of diving after a spectacular weekend diving on a charter boat in Alpena in the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Rich talks about a weather related Plan "C" that they did as an alternate dive and talked about the excitement of having things closer to normal.

Season 10 Episode 24 Rich talks about some of the stuff coming up that is causing him to change the way he does trips and charters. Specifically, he chats about the upcoming Alpena trip and the changes that have been made there. He also talks about changing to a Plan "C" trip and traveling to Milwaukee to finish an otherwise postponed Tec 60 CCR course.

Season 10 Episode 23 Rich does a podcast from his truck and gets excited about a new product being offered by Garmin. The Dive Case for the InReach Mini allows you to take a GPS locator and emergency beacon on a dive with you to a max depth of 330ft. Rich has been part of the test team for Garmin on this product since January and is excited to finally be able to talk about it.

Season 10 Episode 22 Rich talks about the diving he has been doing and the teaching that was done over the past week. He talks about the creativity of building a confined open water training area at White Star Quarry. Teaching during a lockdown has been challenging and Rich talks about that.

Season 10 Episode 21 Rich talks about the goal line being moved as Michigan's Governor extends her stay at home order again. Rich talks about the "newness" of cancelling trips, something that has never happened in his history as owner

Season 10 Episode 20 Rich talks about some of the online presentations he has done this week. He also talks about some of the training he is doing and what hopes he has for the future. The light is at the end of the tunnel and it is time to start thinking about what to do when this is over.

Season 10 Episode 17 Rich talks about his week of online programs and teaching online. He talks about a class he taught where he did not get within 6ft of the student on the surface. Happy Hour Friday was crashed by a surprise guest. Governor of Michigan extended the stay home stay safe order.

Season 10 Episode 16 Rich talk about the creative ways he is getting in front of scuba divers and the diving and training he has been doing during this time of uncertainty. He also talks about how he is ready for this to all be over.

Season 10 Episode 15 Rich chats about how things are going in this bizarre scuba business environment. Being isolated and teaching at the same time to make sure the time is not wasted. He also talks about online programs and the new reality of teaching live while online.

Season 10 Episode 14 As this epidemic goes on, Rich talks about things he has learned and things he is doing to keep diving in people's minds and keeping himself sane. There is a positive note in here somewhere as we look at the life lessons we can gain related to scuba diving from the COVID-19 Epidemic.

Season 10 Episode 13 At the start of this week, many Governors across our nation issued a stay at home order for their residents essentially grinding businesses to a halt over the Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak. Rich talks about his business and how it is affected and his thoughts on what will happen next in scuba when people won't go scuba diving.

Season 10 Episode 12 Rich talks about training that is going on in the chilly spring time. He also talks about some of the uncertainty surrounding the epidemic and tries to keep positive in a rapidly changing world.

Season 10 Episode 11 Rich talks about the past week with the news becoming more severe about the COVID-19 epidemic that we need to be aware of. He chats about some classes that were going well at the beginning of this situation and moves on to chat about the realities of the effect travel bans and such have on a small business like his.

Season 10 Episode 10 Rich does a short recap of his Great Lakes Shipwreck Festival experience. He also discusses the apparent disconnect among divers who have a interest in become Tec Certified and the realities of what that type of diving means. The comment was "that's just 'Baby Tec' I want to dive deeper than that" and the reemergence of the concept that technical diving is ONLY deep diving.

Season 10 Episode 9 Rich is back from Munising and a week of adventure with his fellow course directors. Rich talks about how this trip and his friend's visit reinforced the idea that visitors are tourists and you should not take for granted that your normal surrounding are not totally awesome to someone who is visiting. Especially if they are here for the first time.

Season 10 Episode 8 Rich talks about some the posts he has been reading on Facebook regarding people who are known "rule breakers" publicly slamming people for doing something they disagree with. Scuba is rife with disagreements but taking a side of something you know nothing about gets Rich a little riled when he knows people choose which rules to break and which ones to get outraged about.

Season 10 Episode 7 Rich talks about the weekend with his kids and his continuing process of sorting through six years of scuba stuff at his Monroe Store now that it is closing. Rich also talks about his Technical Diving workshop that he did at Divers Incorporated.

Season 10 Episode 6 Rich was able to plan a day of diving at White Star Quarry off the schedule and invited some of his good customers to join him. Winter diving is fantastic when you have a place to warm up before and after the dives! The weather was fantastic for winter dive day!

Season 10 Episode 5 Rich talks about the decision to close one of his stores. The process of making decisions in the scuba business tend to be more emotional than analytic and Rich takes time to break down the "Why's" of closing his Monroe Location of Divers Incorporated.

Season 10 Episode 4 Rich talks about a diving day that did not go exactly as planned. He talks about prepping for the closing sale at the Monroe Location. Finally Rich announces upcoming trips to Utila and to Yellowstone National Park for scuba diving and adventure!

Season 10 Episode 3 Rich spent the week working on paperwork and working on prepping the Monroe Store for closing. Rich gets passionate about discounting and the economics of diving that discounting affects.

Season 10 Episode 2 Rich is back from Bonaire and super busy with the workings of his shop. New year brings with it another Fat Diver Challenge and we work to become more fit for diving and a longer life while having fun with fellow divers.

Season 9 Episode 47 Rich is back from DEMA with some more incredible stories to tell about the show and the events that happened there. Rich talks about a couple of new products he saw there. Then Rich talks about his week after DEMA catching up and going to another Shipwreck show with Ric Mixter and a story about Lake Erie Shipwrecks. Finally Rich is off to another event this weekend as he travels to Sandusky, Ohio for the Shipwrecks and Scuba event!

Rich talks about the training he has been doing, the new products he is excited about and some of the other things he has been doing this week!
