Got Fish Or Got Rum

First show of the Fall Season.  The GFGR crew isn't falling back, we are falling forward into our 5th season.  We are starting out the season with Capt. John Galvin and we are talking about BlueFIN Tuna...How the topic goes from one beautiful large fish to balls, skirts and undercarriage is just astonishing; but let's face it, it wouldn't be Got Fish or Got Rum without it.

It's tournament season and the deep pockets are strategizing.  Which category, what Calcutta, fish North, South, East or West.  Troll which Lure, Organize the live bait.  Respool the lines.  Practice, Practice, Practice. It's D Day and the captains are gearing up for the 3 days toll of gaining LOTS of cash.  Will they conquer or fall this year?  Are the fish cooperating?  Will the competition be stiff?  We'll find out as we get into the Psyche of our very own.

As it's close to Mother's Day we've decided to talk about our Big Mommas.  That's right folks our captains will be put on the spot to talk about their grandest catch.  As most larger fish are females we are dedicating this show to all the Mothers out there.

Are you worried about shrinkage?  It's a term we all have heard and for some of our captains it's used quite a bit.  We can't tell you which captain talks the most about it, but let's just say he's an expert.  Tune in and find out everything there is on shrinkage from tubing to icing.

Round 2 try of plastics Some folks say fishing isn't a challenge unless you use artificial or plastic baits.  As we all know some of our plastics molds came from a great plastic past time.  We will find out which of our captains like to have fun with plastic.  We will also find out how much wiggle these plastics require.  We will also find out which of them like the the real thing; the smell, the wiggle, the action the nervous jitters. Special Guest is Captain Woody Woods of Paradise Outfitters.  This young buck is going all out to show off his plastic wiggle technique.
