In this week's Northwest Florida Fishing Report, host Joe Baya covers improving offshore water after a tropical system, post-storm bottom fishing around Panama City, late-summer inshore action in Choctawhatchee Bay, and dirty surf conditions from Pensacola to Navarre. This episode features Tom Hilton of Hilton's Realtime Navigator, Capt. Myles Colley aboard It Just Takes Time, Capt. Harris Scruggs with Triple B Fishing Charters, Capt. Blake Nelson with Reel30A, and Justin Reed Fishing. Tom Hilton starts with the offshore conditions report, where the tropical system helped break up the freshwater and dirty river water that had spread across much of the northern Gulf. He explains how to combine chlorophyll imagery, sea-surface temperatures, altimetry, current, structure, and bait to locate productive water. Tom also covers how to use one-day, three-day, and seven-day satellite images, why organized color changes can hold bait and predators, and how offshore structures can continue producing even when they sit inside less-favorable altimetry. Capt. Myles Colley breaks down the current offshore billfish pattern after a tournament performance that included five blue marlin, six sailfish, and a white marlin. He explains why current speed and direction are his most important offshore factors, why he prefers counterclockwise or incoming current, and when he will leave an unproductive area for a completely different body of water. Miles also discusses trolling teasers, pitching ballyhoo and larger natural baits, using live bait and sonar for blue marlin, and applying enough drag to keep big fish from settling into a long fight. He closes with the story of an estimated grander blue marlin hooked near the Nipple and Elbow that measured approximately 154 inches and was released after an eight-hour fight. Capt. Harris Scruggs covers the Panama City offshore report, where the storm created dirty, silty water and a major increase in sail cats and hardhead catfish. Red grouper remain available on deeper natural bottom, while triggerfish numbers have been inconsistent ahead of the season reopening. Harris explains why he deploys a flat line and knocker rig at every stop, how casting a one- to three-ounce knocker rig up-current allows it to cover the water column, and why dead bait has recently outperformed live bait for snapper and grouper. He also discusses scaling down to 30- or 40-pound fluorocarbon on pressured fish and using multi-hook rigs to fire up natural bottom before sending down larger baits. Capt. Blake Nelson reports that Choctawhatchee Bay fishing has remained productive, but rapidly developing thunderstorms have made weather awareness the biggest concern. Large schools of jack crevalle and bull redfish are feeding on pogies and greenies around Rocky Bayou, Boggy Bayou, Joe's Bayou, Marler Bayou, and the East Pass. Blake explains how to target them with 20- to 30-pound braid, heavier leaders, topwater plugs, and large swimbaits. Trout, slot redfish, and mangrove snapper are holding around grass, sandy pockets, docks, and deeper cuts, while summer dock-light fishing has been especially productive with live bait and quarter-ounce glow DOA shrimp. Justin Reed wraps up with the surf report, where anglers must locate cleaner water to escape heavy catfish activity and find pompano, ladyfish, whiting, and other desirable species. He recommends scouting multiple beach accesses, walking shallow points when necessary, and casting beyond the dirty water. Cut ladyfish on a fish-finder rig has been producing redfish and bluefish close to the beach, while pompano have been keyed in on sand fleas and orange floats, beads, hooks, or Fishbites. Justin also explains why pyramid sinkers hold better than egg sinkers in strong west-wind current and why frequent bait checks remain important during the summer. Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Sabtu, 25 Juli 2026Bacaan: “Mengucap syukurlah dalam segala hal, sebab itulah yang dikehendaki Allah di dalam Kristus Yesus bagi kamu.” (1 Tesalonika 5:18)Renungan: Keluarga Pak Budi baru aja kena musibah. Usaha kecilnya bangkrut saat menjelang Natal. Tabungan habis untuk membayar utang. Malam itu di meja makan suasananya hening. Anak sulungnya berkata, “Pa, kita masih bisa makan nasi sama telur. Berarti Tuhan masih pelihara kita ya.” Istri Pak Budi menyambung, “Iya. Listrik masih menyala. Rumah masih ada. Kita masih lengkap 4 orang di sini.” Mereka tidak pura-pura bahagia. Tapi malam itu mereka memutuskan untuk berdoa dan mengucap syukur dahulu, sebelum memikirkan jalan keluarnya. Tiga bulan kemudian, pelan-pelan ada pintu berkat baru terbuka. Paulus menulis ayat ini kepada jemaat yang sedang tertekan. Dia tidak berkata, "Bersyukur kalau segala hal baik". Tetapi "bersyukur dalam segala hal". Ada 2 pesa penting dari bacaan tersebut. Pertama, “Mengucap syukurlah dalam segala hal”. Dalam segala hal itu artinya baik suka maupun duka, sehat maupun sakit, berkecukupan maupun berkekurangan. Bersyukur bukan karena situasinya baik-baik saja, tetapi karena Tuhan kita tetap baik. Kedua, “Sebab itulah yang dikehendaki Allah”. Ini bukan saran, tetapi ini adalah kehendak Tuhan. Waktu kita bersyukur, kita sedang taat. Dan ketaatan akan membuka pintu berkat baru dan damai Tuhan. Bersyukur itu bukan menyangkal masalah. Bersyukur itu memilih fokus kepada Tuhan yang memegang masalah itu. Kita gampang bersyukur kalau gaji naik, anak lulus, badan sehat. Tapi bagaimana kalau dalam kerjaan bos tidak menyenangkan, target tidak tercapai, di-PHK? Yang terjadi adalah kita akan gampang mengeluh dan menyalahkan. Bagaimana jika dalam keluarga anak susah diatur, pasangan cuek, orang tua sakit? Rasanya capai dan tidak dihargai. Bagaimana juga di dalam iman? Doa udah lama tidak dijawab. Melihat orang lain diberkati, kita pun bertanya, "Tuhan, Engkau di mana?". 1 Tesalonika 5:18 mengajak kita memasang "kacamata bersyukur" tiap hari. Bukan bersyukur karena masalahnya, tapi bersyukur bahwa di tengah masalah Tuhan masih ada, Tuhan masih mengasihi, Tuhan masih bekerja. Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Doa:Tuhan Yesus, ampunilah aku kalau sering mengeluh dan lupa bersyukur. Hari ini aku mau taat pada firman-Mu. Aku mengucap syukur dalam segala hal, karena Engkau tetap baik. Ajarilah aku melihat kebaikan-Mu bahkan di tengah kesulitan dan isi hatiku dengan ucapan syukur. Amin. (Dod).

Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Minggu, 26 Juli 2026Bacaan: “Tetaplah berdoa.” (1 Tesalonika 5:17)Renungan: Ibu Ani, 42 tahun divonis dokter terkena kanker stadium 3. Hari pertama di rumah sakit dia menangis seharian. Takut, marah dan ia bertanya kepada Tuhan, “Kenapa aku Tuhan?” Dokter mengatakan bahwa Ibu Ani harus kemoterapi panjang. Biaya besar dan keluarganya juga panik. Tiap malam sebelum tidur, suaminya memegang tangannya dan bekata, “Bu, kita nggak bisa apa-apa. Tapi kita bisa berdoa. Yuk tetap berdoa.” Mereka mulai berdoa pendek 1 menit setiap bangun tidur. Doa 1 menit setiap mau ke rumah sakit. Doa 1 menit setiap efek kemoterapi datang. Setahun kemudian, hasil labnya membaik. Ibu Ani berkata, “Aku nggak tahu Tuhan sembuhkan karena apa. Tapi aku tahu, doa itu yang bikin aku nggak sendirian. Tuhan menemani aku di tiap jarum infus.” Penyakitnya belum tentu langsung sembuh, tapi hatinya disembuhkan terlebih dahulu, ada damai. Paulus tidak menuliskan dalam suratnya tersebut "berdoa kalau sempat" atau "berdoa kalau ada masalah besar". Tetapi tetaplah berdoa, artinya: terus-menerus, tidak putus dan menjadi gaya hidup. Doa bukan cuma acara 30 menit di kamar. Doa itu seperti napas rohani kita. Bangun tidur berdoa, di jalan macet berdoa, mendapat kabar baik berdoa syukur. Mendapat kabar buruk berdoa minta tolong. Tuhan tidak menyuruh kita berdoa yang panjang dan indah. Dia hanya mau hati kita tetap terjalin dengan-Nya. Kita semua punya "ruang rumah sakit" versi kita yaitu pertama sakit hati. Dikhianati teman dan disakiti keluarga, rasanya kita tidak bisa memaafkan. Kedua sakit jiwa. Kecemasan, overthinking, depresi. Pikiran berputar terus sepanjang malam. Ketiga sakit keadaan. Banyak hutang, pengangguran, anak yang jauh dari Tuhan, sudah usaha tapi mentok. Di titik itu kita sering berpikir, “Percuma berdoa. Tuhan tidak menjawab." Padahal dalam 1 Tesalonika 5:17 kita diingatkan jangan berhenti berdoa. Tetap berdoa bukan untuk "menyogok" Tuhan. Tapi supaya kita tetap memegang tangan-Nya saat kita berjalan di lembah kekelaman. Mungkin jawabannya belum datang, tapi kekuatan, damai, dan hikmat-Nya akan datang terlebih dahulu waktu kita berdoa. Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Doa:Tuhan Yesus, aku datang kepada-Mu dengan segala sakit penyakitku. Ajarilah aku untuk tetap berdoa, bahkan saat aku lelah dan tidak mengerti. Jangan biarkan aku menjauh dari-Mu. Yesaya 38: 1-6.21-22.7-8; Mazmur tg: Yes 38: 10.11.12abc.16; Matius 12: 1-8.ANTARA BELAS KASIH DAN PERSEMBAHAN Tema renungan kita pada hari ini ialah: Antara Belas Kasih dan Persembahan.Ada banyak umat Katolik sudah tidak lagi melakukan pengakuan dosa. Hal initerwakili oleh seorang pemuda yang berbicara dengan pastor parokinya, bahwa iasendiri dan teman-teman tidak menganggap penting untuk melakukan pengakuan dosakepada seorang imam Katolik. Pemuda itu memberikan alasannya, bahwa pengakuandosa langsung kepada Tuhan sudah cukup dan terjamin aman. Pengakuan dosamelalui imam justru tidak masuk di akalnya. Pengakuan dosa merupakan suatu perbuatan yang bukan sekedar berdoa kepadaTuhan untuk menyampaikan dosa-dosa dan meminta pengampunan, tetapi yang menjadiintinya ialah terjadi rekonsiliasi dan pertobatan. Doa mohon pengampunan itubukan sebuah sakramen tobat. Doa ini sama dengan semua jenis persembahan yangkita lakukan, yaitu memberikan sesuatu sebagai bukti iman dan kasih kita kepadaTuhan. Ini sama dengan memberikan sesuatu kepada orang yang kita kasihi untukmenghormati dan menyenangkannya.  Persembahan itu semata-mata perbuatan manusia, maka sangat bergantung padakehendak bebas, pilihan atau selera masing-masing orang. Sering persembahan itudiatur atau dilembagakan demi memenuhi keinginan pihak penguasa atau parapemimpin, maka dibuatlah aturannya. Ada jumlah yang mesti dipenuhi, misalnyaderma harus sepersepuluh dari penghasilan. Korban bakaran dan sembelihan harusberjumlah sekian dan kondisi hewan persembahan itu cacat atau tidak dansebagainya.  Tuhan Yesus Kristus menggantikan semuanya itu dengan persembahan diri-Nyasendiri. Yang dibuat oleh Tuhan ini adalah perbuatan Tuhan bagi kita manusia,yang bukan sebagai persembahan tetapi sebagai belas kasih. Tuhan mengasihi kitadengan mengorbankan diri-Nya. Bapa Allah berbelas kasih dan sangat menyayangikita manusia maka Ia memberikan Anak-Nya sendiri bagi kita. Perbuatan Yesusdalam berbelas kasih ialah menolong dan menyelamatkan kita manusia dari segalabentuk perbudakan dosa, kejahatan dan kematian.  Belas kasih dari Tuhan dan kewajiban kita untuk melakukannya, merupakansebuah ibadat yang melebihi hari sabat dan persembahan lainnya ketika nasibhidup manusia sangat menuntut untuk diperhatikan. Inilah yang ingin Yesusperbaiki, ketika belas kasih diremehkan atau bahkan ditiadakan, sementarapersembahan dan hari sabat dipatuhi secara berlebihan. Bagi kita umat beriman,persembahan dan ibadat tidak perlu dihilangkan dari hidup kita, artinya kitatetap memerlukannya. Tetapi pada saat belas kasih itu diperlukan, kita tidakboleh menggantikannya dengan sekedar mempersembahkan doa-doa kita. Marilah kita berdoa.Dalam nama Bapa ... Kuatkanlah dan penuhilah kami dengan kuasa-Mu ya Allah,supaya kami dapat memberikan yang sesungguhnya sebagai belas kasih dan sebagai persembahan di dalam penghayatan iman kami.Kemuliaan kepada Bapa dan Putra dan Roh Kudus ... SaaStr 868: Software Isn't Dead. It's Gotten Harder with Scale Venture Partners' Rory O'Driscoll When you've spent 30 years making money in software, "is software dead?" feels like a personal attack. Rory O'Driscoll, who has been a software investor since before most of the companies in this room existed, decided to actually answer the question.  He went back through his portfolio. About 10% of pre-2022 companies were DOA the moment ChatGPT launched, solving problems that foundation models made trivially easy overnight. Another 30% are genuinely threatened and need to move fast or die. The rest are either insulated, made stronger by AI, or sitting on opportunities that didn't exist before. The answer is not that software is dead. The answer is that the standard deviation of what you're dealing with has gone way up, and most founders haven't figured out which category they're actually in. In this episode, Rory lays out the framework he and his team have been wrestling with in real time: where defensibility actually lives, what the $688B in AI CapEx vs $110B in revenue means for everyone in the room, and when AI is genuinely the new sales and marketing versus when it's just a cost you can't afford. Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Senin, 13 Juli 2026Bacaan: "Sekalipun ayahku dan ibuku meninggalkan aku, namun TUHAN menyambut aku." (Mazmur 27:10)Renungan: Pada tahun 1967, seorang laki-laki bernama Joni Eareckson umur 17 tahun meloncat ke danau untuk menyelam. Namun karena salah perhitungan, dia cedera tulang belakang. Sejak hari itu dia lumpuh dari leher ke bawah. Dunia Joni runtuh. Orang tuanya sedih, teman-temannya menjauh. Dia marah sama Tuhan. "Kenapa aku? Kenapa Tuhan izinkan ini?" Di tempat tidur rumah sakit, dia merasa benar-benar ditinggalkan. Fisiknya lemah, masa depannya gelap, dan dia merasa tidak ada yang mengerti. Tapi di titik paling hancur itu, Joni mulai membuka Alkitab. Mazmur 27:10 jadi pegangannya: "Sekalipun ayahku dan ibuku meninggalkan aku, namun TUHAN menyambut aku." Tuhan tidak menyembuhkan tubuhnya. Tapi Tuhan menyambut dia. Dia selalu jadi rumah yang tidak pernah menolak kita pulang. Sebagai pengikut Yesus kita pasti pernah merasa "ditinggalkan", antara lain ditinggalkan orang. Teman yang unfollow karena kita beda pilihan. Keluarga yang tidak mendukung panggilan kita. Rekan kerja yang menikam dari belakang. Rasanya sakit. Tapi ingat, Tuhan menyambut kita. Dia tidak pernah meng-unfollow kita. Kita juga mungkin pernah ditinggalkan harapan. Doa belum dijawab, pintu kerja tertutup dan rencana gagal. Rasanya Tuhan diam, tetapi ternyata dia tetap "menyambut" artinya Dia tetap dekat. Dia peluk kita di tengah penantian kita. Kita juga mungkin pernah ditinggalkan diri sendiri. Kita kecewa pada diri sendiri sehingga kita berkata, "Aku gagal lagi". Tapi Tuhan berkata, "Aku tidak meninggalkan kamu. Aku mengumpulkan kepingan harapanmu satu persatu." Sebagai pengikut Yesus, kita dipanggil juga untuk menjadi "tangan Tuhan yang menyambut". Ketika melihat rekan kerja yang dikucilkan, murid yang diabaikan, keluarga yang kesepian, jadilah rumah bagi mereka, karena kita sudah lebih dahulu disambut Tuhan. Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Doa:Tuhan Yesus, terima kasih karena Engkau tidak pernah meninggalkan aku. Ampunilah aku kalau aku sering mencari penerimaan di tempat yang salah. Hari ini aku mau pulang dan berlindung dalam pelukan-Mu. Pakailah aku juga untuk menyambut orang-orang di sekitarku yang merasa ditinggalkan. Amin. (Dod).

(Amsal 18:21)Renungan: Suatu hari seorang istri mengeluh karena minggu ini ia terlalu lelah. Kerjaan menumpuk, anak rewel minta ditemenin belajar. Suaminya pulang kerja terus rebahan main HP. Tanpa sadar ia kesal dan berkata kepada suaminya: "Kamu sih tahunya cuma enak-enak rebahan. Gak pernah mikirin rumah ini!" Suaminya pun diam. Malam itu suasana rumah menjadi dingin. Dua hari kemudian giliran ia yang sakit. Anak-anak yang biasanya deket dengannya menjadi takut karena melihat papa mamanya tegang. Ia pun tersadar. Satu kalimat emosinya malam itu "mematikan" suasana rumah selama dua hari. Padahal kalau ia bilang: "Pa, aku capek. Boleh tolong temenin anak belajar 30 menit?" pasti jawabannya berbeda. Amsal 18:21 ini berisi peringatan keras dari Raja Salomo tentang kuasa dari kata-kata: "Hidup dan mati dikuasai lidah". Di rumah, lidah kita bisa jadi sumber kehidupan atau sumber kematian. Dengan kata-kata kita bisa menghidupkan semangat pasangan, menguatkan anak yang gagal, memberkati keluarga. Tapi dengan kata-kata juga kita bisa melukai hati pasangan, mematikan semangat anak, dan merusak keharmonisan rumah. Rumah tangga kita adalah cermin dari apa yang sering kita ucapkan. Suka mengeluh, maka rumah penuh keluhan. Suka mengucap syukur dan menguatkan, maka rumah penuh damai. Keluarga adalah tempat pertama kita latihan memakai lidah. Tiga hal yang bisa kita latih mulai saat ini: 1. Ganti kritik dengan permintaan. Dari perkataan, "Aku sibuk, jadi lupa" menjadi "Sayang, boleh tolong ingetin aku ya" 2. Perbanyak kata penguat untuk anak. Perkataan, "Mama bangga kamu sudah berusaha", lebih menghidupkan daripada "Nilainya kok segitu-segitu aja".3. Doa berkat sebelum tidur. Ucapkan satu kalimat berkat untuk tiap anggota keluarga. Itu seperti menyiram tanaman di rumah. Ingat, anak-anak kita tidak akan ingat seberapa rapi rumah kita. Tapi mereka akan ingat: "Di rumah ini, kata-kata apa yang paling sering ia dengar." Tuhan Yesus memberkati.
