Hai Wonder Kids, kembali dalam renungan anak GKY Mangga Besar.Judul renungan hari ini adalah:JANGAN KUATIR, BERDOALAH!Mari kita membaca Firman Tuhan dariFILIPI 4:6“Janganlah hendaknya kamu kuatir tentang apa pun juga, tetapi nyatakanlah dalam segala hal keinginanmu kepada Allah dalam doa dan permohonan dengan ucapan syukur.”Wonder Kids, siapa di sini yang pernah merasa kuatir? Kuatir tidak bisa mengerjakan ujian, kuatir tidak punya teman, atau kuatir ketika orang tua sedang sibuk. Kuatir itu membuat hati kita resah dan tidak tenang. Tapi Firman Tuhan berkata jelas: jangan kuatir!Bagaimana caranya? Dengan berdoa. Doa adalah cara kita menyerahkan semua kekhawatiran kepada Tuhan. Ketika kita berdoa, kita sedang berkata, “Tuhan, aku tidak bisa mengatasi ini sendiri, tapi aku percaya Engkau sanggup menolongku.” Doa juga membuat hati kita tenang, karena kita tahu Tuhan mendengar setiap permohonan anak-anak-Nya.Paulus menulis ayat ini ketika ia ada dalam penjara, tapi ia tetap bisa bersukacita. Mengapa? Karena ia tahu bahwa doa membawa damai sejahtera dari Tuhan. Jadi, meski keadaan sulit, hatinya tidak diguncangkan oleh rasa kuatir.MARI KITA BERTUMBUH DI DALAM ANUGERAH TUHANWonder Kids, setiap kali kamu merasa kuatir, lipat tanganmu dan berdoalah. Dia berhenti di sebuah restoran dan duduk dekat sekelompok anak muda yang sedang berpesta sambil setengah mabuk. Ketika makanan pesanannya telah dihidangkan di depannya, orang tua itu menundukkan kepalanya dan berdoa. Sekelompok anak muda tersebut menertawakan apa yang dilakukan petani itu. Salah seorang dari mereka berteriak, "Hai, orang tua, apakah orang-orang di rumahmu selalu berdoa sebelum makan?" Dengan tenang orang tua itu berpaling ke arah anak muda itu, dan dengan suara yang keras ia menjawab, "Ya, anakku, kecuali hewan-hewan peliharaan di rumahku." Kalau kita pernah melihatnya, saat kita makan di tempat tersebut, itu artinya makanan di tempat itu sudah dicemari dan dinajiskan oleh kuasa kegelapan yang mereka minta dalam bentuk jimat-jimat penglaris. Oleh karena itu doa sebelum makan dibutuhkan untuk menguduskan kembali makanan tersebut dan ditutup dengan doa ucapan syukur sesudah makan. Yesus tidak pernah malu mengakui kita sebagai anak-Nya, oleh karena itu, kita pun tidak perlu malu untuk berdoa pada saat makan di tempat umum.
