There is a war going on. This war is the greatest war you have ever seen. This war death total is beyond a billion in counting. This war is greater than Vietnam, World War I and World War II combined. A lot of blood was shed in those wars, but those wars didn’t give us true freedom. How many of you, if your child went missing today would search for them? Without question, you would go to ends of the earth until you found your child. Nothing would be able to stand in your way, you would be relentless in your efforts, you wouldn't take no for answer. After 5 days of searching those on the outside has given up on the search, except for you because you would never give up on your child. Then the day comes when you are reunited with your child because you never gave up and you continue to pursue them. In the same way our FATHER never stops pursuing us, though we have left or went missing many times, he pursues our heart until the day that you return back to him. It doesn't matter how far we have strayed away, how angry we are at HIM, how bad a situation is, how much our faith have wavered, JESUS is still pursuing you because HE loves his children. The Bible can be summed up in one word, "love". JESUS loves us so much that he died on the cross in place of our sins and has made us to be righteous in the sight of GOD for those who believe. GOD desires to have a relationship with HIS people built on the foundation of trust and belief in JESUS. The greatest love story ever told is what GOD did by sending JESUS to die for us and til this day, HE never stopped loving us. It's not about religion, it's about a relationship. There is a scroll in Heaven that is sealed and is held in the right hand of GOD. No one was worthy to open the scroll until suddenly the Lamb walks in. The Lamb who was slain for the entire world was able to take the scroll of the hand of GOD. JESUS is that Lamb who is worthy of all praise, honor and glory because HE did what no one else could do. Can you picture the throne of God? Can you imagine standing in front of God while HE is sitting on his throne? Can you imagine the sight of God’s glory, the greatness of HIS love and the fullness of HIS power? What would you do if you were standing in the very presence of God? Have you ever wondered what Heaven would be like when you arrive? Day and night the heavenly host worship the creator of the universe saying HOLY, HOLY is the LORD God almighty who was, who is and who is to come. They worship God acknowledging HIS greatness, power, authority and love. We were created to worship HIM. In fact, we are commanded to worship God. Ask yourself this question, what does my worship look like? If you don’t know, then you are probably not Worshiping God and you may be worshiping something or someone else. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalm 95:6
It’s time to self-examine ourselves as fellow believers in CHRIST and the church that we are a part of. The church has lost it’s focus, it’s not about the number of people in the building that makes it successful. It’s about the number of people who follow JESUS and hold close to HIS words, who do not associate with the world and its views but are steadfast and anchored in JESUS are the ones who please GOD. The church must get back to its roots. The church is here to have an impact on the world around us not the world impacting the church. We have gotten to the point in the church, that the word repentance and holiness is rarely used, and hell is no longer talked about. We have gotten to the point where we only preach about the things that we want to preach about instead allowing the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit. We have gotten to the point now where pleasing people is better than pleasing GOD. We have gotten to the point now where it’s okay to sin and live in hypocrisy. We have gotten to the point now where itching ears are more important than sound doctrine. We have started to drift away from the word of GOD. Repent and turn away from the things you are doing and follow what the BIBLE teaches.
The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
