    PCGB01: MLiC Mantras

Someone once asked me if I had a formula, code or scheme that guides my decision making. Honestly, I'd never given it that much thought... There was a time when I believed my destiny was mapped out and luck or charm was guiding my path. I still believe that to be true in some regards, but more in terms of opportunity intersecting preparation and coming to terms with the actual amount of impact we personally have in our destiny. It seems to me that it's inversely tied to age and retrospect. In 2003, I separated from the USAF and transitioned back into civilian life. This was a shift away from a way of life I believed was my preordained path. The story of how it came to be reality is nothing short of a charmed fairy tale. Life, the Winds of the Universe, God, the Gods or whatever you want to call the invisible force that shapes our path had other plans. As I adapted to a what seemed like a new world I found myself falling back onto mantras that had become instinctive in overcoming obstacles. In reflection, these are the mantras that guided my evolution into the father, husband and human being I am today. This podcast highlights some of the key elements that I live by. May you find wisdom in the words to help guide you on your own path.--------------------------------------------------------------------------SUPPORT OUR CONTENTThis is the type of exclusive podcast that you can find in the The Flight Club on my Patreon Page. Today's topic is dear to my heart because it is the core of what I believe producing is. A producer needs to understand how to read a script and visual it in monetary terms. You may read:EXT: DISNEYLAND - DAY but what I see is $$$$$EXT: Amusement Part - Day = More likely to be accomplishedI'm not saying that filming an exterior shot for your movie is impossible, I'm just saying that understanding how to clarify or suggest alternatives can translate into cost savings on a schedule. Being able to break the elements of a script into a shooting schedule is the core of production management and production management is producing training ground. --------------------------------------------------------------------------SUPPORT OUR CONTENTCheck out our PATREON PAGE and see if there is a tier you can subscribe to.
