What if the habit you've been trying to break is actually how you learned to survive? It's January. You've made the resolution. This year will be different. You start strong. First week goes well. By February, you're back where you started. Maybe feeling worse because now you've added shame to the pile. I share about Rachel, a 42-year-old marketing director. She tried everything to stop late-night eating. Willpower. Mantras. Accountability apps. Nothing worked for more than a few weeks. When I asked what she felt right before reaching for food, she'd never thought about it. That knot in her stomach? It went away when she ate. Her nervous system had found a way to keep emotions manageable. This wasn't about the food. It was about how she was getting through life. In this episode you'll hear more about: Why willpower isn't the problem: When we try to remove a survival strategy through willpower alone, our nervous system panics. We just took away one of its tools without offering anything in its place. The difference between a habit and a survival strategy: A habit is brushing our teeth or taking the same route to work. A survival strategy helps us cope when capacity has been overwhelmed. Late-night eating, scrolling, overworking—these are never just habits. Why our body fights back: Our nervous system won't give up a survival strategy easily. Its job is to help us survive. Of course we're back at the refrigerator by end of January. What one of my course members realized: "My protectors are able to relax when I create safety and support in my nervous system." That's the step most people miss. Why capacity matters for resolutions: Capacity is how much stress we can hold before we get overwhelmed. When we remove a survival strategy without building capacity, we overflow right back into overwhelm. Two ways to create space: We can create safety inside our current container. This removes the need for numbing and distraction. Or we can build a larger container that holds more. It is never about the behavior. The behavior is the downstream effect. When we understand this, we can work with our biology instead of against it. Resources/Guides: Biology of Trauma book - Available now everywhere books are sold. Get your copy
Understanding you need boundaries? Fine. Setting them? Different story. This week we're getting practical—I'm walking you through exactly how to set boundaries, what to say, how to hold them when people push back, and what happens when you start protecting your time, energy, and peace. Spoiler: it gets worse before it gets better. When you set a boundary, people are going to test it, question it, call you selfish, tell you you've changed. But here's what's actually happening—what you were doing benefited them, and that benefit is going away. This is Episode 200, and it's only fitting that it's about boundaries. In this episode: The extinction burst: why boundary-testing gets louder before it stops (and what happens if you cave) The five-step process: get clear on the boundary, communicate it without over-explaining, hold the line, expect the guilt, and notice who respects it Scripts for setting boundaries: "I've decided [boundary], and I understand if it's disappointing, but this is what's going to be" Mantras for holding boundaries: "No is a complete sentence," "Their discomfort is not yours to fix," "Boundaries are not mean, they are clear" What boundaries look like with kids (teaching them how to treat you), parents (protecting yourself from what they didn't give you), partners (equity and shared responsibility), and friends (balance on the ladder) The three outcomes when you hold boundaries: some adjust, some resist then accept, some leave—and what each tells you about the relationship Quote of the week: "Their disappointment is not our failure. Their struggle is not ours to fix. It is not our job to make them happy. Your job is to raise them to be capable, respectful, and independent adults." Practice for this week: One boundary. Just one. Ask yourself: Where am I the most resentful? What am I tolerating that I no longer want to tolerate? What boundary would protect my time, energy, or peace? Write it down. Practice saying it out loud. Then hold it, even if it's uncomfortable.
In this discussion, Mike and Glenn explore the crucial question: "Now what?" as they look ahead to 2026. They delve into how living a life driven by passion and purpose is essential for true success.Key takeaways from the conversation include:The "Work" is the Key: The principle of "Drive," which mirrors the active approach of the AA program, suggests that to elevate your life, you must actively do the work. The Mantra of Success: Embrace the commitment: "If you want what we have and are willing to go to any length to get it," recognizing that success requires unwavering dedication.Action is Everything: The idea that "AA doesn't work" is true only if you don't work the program. Similarly, if you want a better life, you must live a better life.Showing Up is Non-Negotiable: Glenn and Mike agree that simply showing up is a foundational part of "going to any length."Direction through Awareness: Self-awareness is key to understanding your proper direction and requires being open to new experiences.Inspired by The Purpose Driven Life: Drawing inspiration from Rick Warren's book, they advocate for incorporating spirituality and serving others into your plan.Mike and Glenn emphasize that the time for passive wishing is over—it's time to take action to achieve the life you want.

Was lief schlecht? Was lief schlecht / was hat genervt?Für jeden Punkt: Woran lag's? Was war mein Anteil? Welche Stärke/Schwäche steckt dahinter?Ergebnis notieren: 3 Dinge beibehalten, 3 Dinge ändern_______________________

Heya, so here we are, the end of 2025. Good riddance I say. As is traditional, this is a DJ mix – almost 2 hrs, with a bit of speaking at the front. It’s pretty strange, this one, although there’s a lot of dance music. There’s also a lot of detours and oddities, but that’s what UFog is about, so I hope you enjoy! Is 'Move Fast & Break Things' just permission to be reckless?Join Product Manager Brian Orlando and Enterprise Business Agility Consultant Om Patel as they examine Mark Zuckerberg's (in)famous mantra and reveal how it may have metastasized from breaking code to breaking laws, teams, and even contributing to real human harm.Watch or listen as we explore the critical dimensions of this philosophy, including:BREAKING SOFTWARE: How the original meaning of 'break things' (emphasizing first-mover advantage) evolved from rapid iteration of code to justifying regulatory evasion and monopolistic behavior.BREAKING TEAMS: Using Harvard research that shows 'always-on' cultures decrease productivity by 20% and spike turnover to discuss how intensity without recovery is just exploitation (and what to do instead).BREAKING PEOPLE: Discussing the human costs of unchecked speed, from Facebook's alleged role in the Myanmar genocide to Uber's systemic harassment culture to Theranos's fraud.LEARNING OVER SPEED: We discuss Eric Ries's seminal work: The Lean Startup and how it went out of it's way to emphasize learning velocity over shipping velocity. WRONG (we guess)!PUSHING BACK (WITHOUT GETTING FIRED): We brainstorm for frameworks to use for challenging speed-obsessed leadership, including trade-off and discuss real-world experiences.Whether you're running a business, a product manager, or a team member just trying to keep up, this episode arms you with arguments and frameworks to advocate for ethical innovation. What's your take on 'move fast' culture? I love a good mantra or declaration. Not to mention, now is the perfect time of year to get these in your mouth! When you say mantras frequently out loud, they have the power to literally shift your focus to the things you desire to manifest in your life. The mantras in this episode focus on abundance, prosperity and declaring your worth. If you believe in the power of declaring and decreeing things, I invite you to put this episode on repeat. Pandu along with his wives Kunti and Madhri stay in the forest among Rishis and sages. Pandu is a worried that he may never have children of his own due to the curse of the rishi. Kunti reveals the secret boon she got from sage Dhurvasa that she may get children through a powerful Mantra taught by the sage. Pandu immediately asks her to use the boon and Kunti begets Yudhisthira through the blessings of Dharma Deva. good omens are seen everywhere and the Devas aseer vachanams fill the air. meanwhile at Hastinapur Gandhari is fuming with jealous when she heard that Kunti is blessed with a child. she beats her stomach and a big ball of flesh falls down. sage vyasa consoles her and arranges for 100 pots filled with ghee and divides the flesh into 100 parts and stores them in the ghee filled pots. when one piece is left over he brings another pot with ghee and bless Gandhari that a female child also will be born to be. the first ghee pot breaks open and a child is born. He is Dhuryodana. bad omens are seen everywhere when he is born. He also cries like Donkey. all the elders advice Dhritarashtra to get rid of this child as he may bring destruction to the whole of kaurava Kulam. will Dhritarashtra listen to the advice. ?this is Rajee patti telling you Mahabharatam. hariom.

This third part of the Mantra addresses what the Bible says about what God does with out sins. It is shocking to realize that God understands we did not choose to be born here on this planet with its mess of a situation. When we understand what is really going on and have the courage to believe what God has already done it transforms our lives. We are never the same again. Because the worship of the woman's body is considered to be the culminating practice in the Kaula mārga (as per its characterization in Abhinavagupta's Chapter 29 from Tantrāloka), we reflected a little bit on the Kaula (I.e left hand path) elements in Thakur and Holy Mother, especially with reference to elements in Her dhyāna mantra from last week's How To Meditate on the Tāntrik Goddess | Śrī Sāradā Devī Dhyāna Mantra lecture. In this class, we explore Holy Mother's avatarahood (to make the exciting claim that we have our female Avatāra in Her) and also the significance of this Shodaśī-pūjā, aforementioned. We continue to point out some Kaula or Vāmā mārga elements in Holy Mother's life and teaching! You'll find all our talks on Holy Mother over the years in this playlist. As we close out 2025 and stand at the threshold of the Winter Solstice, this episode offers a gentle, embodied way to meet the year ahead. If you've chosen a word or mantra for 2026 but it hasn't quite landed in your body yet, this one's for you.In this final episode of the year, Dianne explores why pleasure is the missing link in manifestation and how intentions come alive when the body is included.Inspired by the idea that affirmations are most powerful when we're “in the vortex,” this episode translates manifestation into the language of the nervous system, breath, presence, and sensual embodiment.Inside this episode:Why your body must believe your mantra before it can unfoldHow pleasure creates the internal safety needed for creationWhat it truly means to be “in the vortex” from a somatic perspectiveA gentle embodied practice to help your 2026 word come aliveThis is a threshold episode. A moment to slow down, soften, and allow your next season to emerge from within.✨ If you're feeling the pull to be supported in this work, the Solstice portal into the Vital Goddess Mastery is open for a few more days. "Our default way of being is so strong, and the more depleted we are, the more likely we are to fall back to these default patterns." - Meg Durham In this final episode of The School of Wellbeing, Meg is interviewed by friend and colleague, David Bott, in a warm, honest and often hilarious reflection on the year that was. Together they explore the messy moments, the quiet wins and the stories behind the work. From people-pleasing when depleted, to balcony moments and co-reflection, to advocating as a parent and recognising the crumbs of impact that keep us going. Along the way, Meg shares the phrases that have saved her, and why doing less, but doing it better, matters more than ever. This conversation is a reminder that wellbeing is not about perfection, but about being deliberate, human and connected in the work we do. ---- Chapter Markers: 00:00 Turning the tables and setting the scene 02:18 What changes when Meg becomes the guest 05:40 The wetsuit story and default modes under pressure 10:51 A massage misadventure and people-pleasing when tired 16:02 The omelette incident and learning to pivot 19:27 What these moments teach us about depletion 20:59 Balcony moments, co-reflection and sentence starters 24:50 A real reflection on the year that was 25:42 Parenting, advocacy and uncomfortable conversations 29:38 The phrases that have saved Meg this year 30:59 What “kicking ten” looks like now 32:18 The crumb theory and invisible impact 37:47 Shifting seasons and reclaiming energy 40:25 Ocean swims, perspective and joy 46:48 Moments of pride from 2025 49:28 Looking ahead to 2026 ---- Deliberate Actions: Notice your default patterns of thinking and behaving when you are depleted. In this exceedingly beautiful discussion we did last week as an offering to Holy Mother for Her Jayanti, he say a few things about how Tāntrik meditation and practice works in general (with reference to some of its unique, aesthetically rich features) and then based on this understanding, we translate and unpack the dhyāna-mantra, meditation/visualization mantra of Holy Mother Sārada Devī and in so doing, we explore many very esoteric Tāntrik concepts encoded in the verses of this hymn! The mantras are reproduced below and all our talks on Holy Mother over the years are in this playlist. dhyānamoṁ dhyāyeccittasarojasthāṁ sukhāsīnāṁ kṛpāmayīm। prasannavadanāṁ devīṁ dvibhūjāṁ sthiralocanām॥ālulāyitakeśārdhavakṣaḥsthalavimaṇḍitām। śvetavastrāvṛtārdhāṅgāṁ hemālaṅkārabhūṣitām॥ svakroḍanyastahastāṁ ca jñānabhaktipradāyinīm। śubhrāṁ jyotirmayīṁ jīvapāpasantāpahāriṇīm॥ rāmakṛṣṇagataprāṇāṁ tannāmaśravaṇapriyām।tadbhāvarañjitākārāṁ jaganmātṛsvarūpiṇīm॥jānakīrādhikārūpadhāriṇīṁ sarvamaṅgalām।cinmayīṁ varadāṁ nityāṁ sāradāṁ mokṣadāyinīm॥snehamayīṁ śivāṁ śāntāṁ bhuktimuktipradāyinīm।sarvajīvatrāṇakartrīṁ sāradāṁ jñānadāyinīm॥One should meditate on She who abides in the lotus of the mind, sitting easefully, filled with compassion and with a serene face, the two armed Goddess with steady eyes, Her long flowing hair adorning half Her bosom with half Her body clothed in white garments, adorned with golden ornaments, Her hands placed in Her own lap and bestowing knowledge and devotion, She is radiant light, the Destroyer of ignorance and suffering in human beings, whose every breath flows to Ramakrishna, who delights in the hearing of His name, Her form saturated with the ecstatic mood of absorption in Him, She is the Mother of the whole world! Does looking at your bank balance or holiday shopping list trigger a immediate knot of panic in your chest?. You are not alone. In the middle of December, we are often bombarded with the message that "love equals spending," which triggers deep financial scarcity and unworthiness wounds. But your worthiness is not a transaction, and your love is not measured by a price tag.Join clinical hypnotherapist Martin for a Somatic Reset designed to help you put down the heavy bag of expectation and reclaim your peace. In this episode, we will:Identify Financial Stress: Locate where money anxiety lives in your body (often the jaw and lower belly).Switch Off the Scarcity Alarm: Use Box Breathing (Inhale 4, Hold 4, Exhale 4, Hold 4) to balance the mind and ground the nervous system.Visualize the Release: Somatically "set down" the heavy burden of needing to buy the perfect gift or perfect reaction.Reframe Gift-Giving: Learn why offering your calm presence is more valuable than any stressed-out version of you holding a box.Mantras for this Session:"My presence is the greatest present I can give." "I release the need to buy approval." "I am enough exactly as I am right now." Timestamps:00:00 - The "Scarcity Mindset" Trap01:20 - Somatic Check-in: Jaw & Belly01:59 - Box Breathing Technique03:21 - Visualization: Setting Down the Heavy Bag04:25 - Hand on Heart Affirmations07:17 - The Gift of Time (Martin's Story) A Note from Martin: "One of my gifts when I was very poor was the gift of time. I'd write cards to friends and family and offer them an hour, half a day, or a day of my time. It is a precious gift." If this session helped you lower your shoulders, please share it with a friend who might be overwhelmed by their shopping list.

During our lives, we'll go through various eras, and in some of the eras we're required to work. It's not going to be possible to dedicate the same amount of time that others can at different periods in their life. Let's use Śrīla Prabhupāda as an example. He had a family, children, and he was also working as an employee in a chemical company in high-level management. He expressed how little time he had too during that era. Evidence: He split his rounds up throughout the day. He mentions this, that he chanted four, four, four, and four, because he had to time it so that he could chant his rounds around his work schedule and around his family schedule. Another piece of evidence is that when Prabhupāda joined his spiritual master's Yātrā in Vṛndāvana, it was a ten-day Yātrā, and he could only go for one day because he had so much work to do. So, Prabhupāda during that time maintained sādhana as best he could, but he also had those other obligations. Then, at a particular time in his life, he got the opportunity to become a vānaprastha and then a sannyāsī. Most people see Prabhupāda during the time when he was a paramahaṁsa and not sleeping and engaging in spreading the movement and writing all night and things like that. But he also went through the different stages of life, and during those times, he apportioned his time accordingly. So, this is natural, and it is accommodated by the varṇāśrama system that there are going to be different phases of life. It's nothing impractical. In fact, in the Śrī Īśopaniṣad, a favorite verse of mine, is: vidyāṁ cāvidyāṁ ca yas tad vedobhayaḿ saha avidyayā mṛtyuṁ tīrtvā vidyayāmṛtam aśnute "Only one who can learn the process of nescience and that transcendental knowledge side by side can transcend the influence of repeated birth and death and enjoy the full blessings of immortality (Mantra 11)." https://vedabase.io/en/library/iso/11/ So, it's not a big surprise that we have obligations in the material world, but what's required is to continue your hearing and chanting even as you're doing that, according to your capacity. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

In this episode of LaidOPEN Podcast, I open up about my own deepening journey with Kundalini Yoga and sit with one of the teachers who has guided so much of that unfolding. Amanbir is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and trainer who has spent more than two years empowering and training thousands of students across the planet. His teaching blends traditional Kundalini lineage, Chinese medicine, astrology, and nervous system intelligence in a way that cuts through noise and brings you right into the truth of your own experience. We explore what Kundalini practice actually feels like inside a real human body and why it has the power to open your heart in ways that are both tender and undeniable. We talk about how mantra, breath, mudra and repetitive movement shift emotional patterns and help move trauma, especially the inherited stories that live in our cells. We get into the beauty and intensity of transformation, the importance of community and consistent practice, and the courage it takes to let yourself soften and expand at the same time. Amanbir also shares a simple breath practice you can use whenever you feel overwhelmed, disconnected or pulled into old habits. His presence is steady and deeply compassionate, and this conversation offers a grounded entry point into a practice that can change the way you meet yourself. If you have ever wondered what Kundalini can open in you, this episode brings you right to the heart of it. Can one sentence really change the way a difficult aspect behaves in your birth chart? That is the question we explore with humanistic astrologer Kathy Rose in this week's episode of Mainly Moonology. Together we look at the psychology of chart tension, the power of pithy affirmation, and whether behaviour change can actually re-shape the way your horoscope expresses itself in real time.Kathy walks us through how she identifies a therapeutic mantra from a natal chart using tension-points like Mercury overwhelm, Moon–Saturn heaviness, over-responsibility to others or Western Hemisphere people-pleasing patterns. We also discuss neuroplasticity, and why new thought pathways can heal old emotional imprints rather than bind us to them forever. We then bring the work into the skies of right now. You'll hear us craft a mantra for the Full Moon in Gemini and explore how to use affirmations to redirect Uranian buzz, calm mental overstimulation and stay present instead of spiralling into “catastrophic future thinking.” Kathy shares a mantra for this Full Moon and offers a powerful universal affirmation for the year ahead. We also talk about women, confidence, the incoming astrology of 2026 and why imposter syndrome is rising now not as a setback, but as a call to claim space and voice. Kathy describes why Saturn–Neptune in Aries may be the era of spiritual self-sufficiency, decision-making confidence and healing through self-belief.This conversation blends astrology, psychology, mantra, mindset and the real mechanics of rewiring the brain. If you've ever wanted to use astrology to change your patterns instead of just understand them, you'll love this.Find out more about Kathy Rose at https://www.roseastrology.com/Find out more about her Therapeutic Mantra course at https://www.astrologyuniversity.com/shop/search-by-astrologer/kathy-rose/therapeutic-mantras/ Join the Mainly Moonology inner circle: https://moonmessages.com/magical––Follow Yasmin on socials:✨ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/yasminbolandmoonology ✨ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/moonologydotcom/––Mainly Moonology is a podcast for people looking to manifest their dream life leveraging the power of the moon. Breathwork is one of the most powerful tools in biohacking, yet most people only experience the surface level techniques. When you use it the right way, breathwork can upgrade your brain, strengthen your nervous system, improve sleep, and open awareness states that amplify longevity and human performance. This episode features Ishan Shivanand, a globally celebrated yogic scholar, mental health researcher, and bestselling author who was raised in the monasteries of India under Mahasiddha Avdhoot Shivanand. He carries one of the world's oldest Shiv Yogi lineages and created the clinically validated Yoga of Immortals method, which has helped millions reverse anxiety, depression, insomnia, burnout, and trauma. Together, Host Dave Asprey and Ishan reveal how lineage level breath practices shape consciousness, neuroplasticity, and emotional resilience. Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience: https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR Host Dave Asprey and Ishan explore the full arc of ancient yogic training, from how breathwork directs prana through the body to how chanting alters brain states, emotional regulation, and nervous system function. They break down the role of visualization in building neuroplasticity, the symbolism and physics of sacred sound, and the science of moving awareness through the spine. The conversation moves into rarely discussed topics including the yogic art of choosing one's death, how advanced practitioners leave the body, the meaning of immortality in spiritual traditions, and how dharma shapes whether long life becomes a blessing or a burden. You will hear how ancient monks trained through martial arts, mantra repetition, sacred geometry, gold symbolism, alchemy, and the cultivation of higher states of consciousness, and how these practices compare to modern biohacking tools like fasting, ketosis, nootropics, supplements, sleep optimization, functional medicine, and mitochondrial support. This episode shows you how Eastern mystical training and Western performance science intersect and how these teachings fit naturally within the Smarter Not Harder framework. This conversation also covers plant medicine, psychedelics, and the difference between ancient ceremonial use and modern recreational misuse. You will hear how lineage based training uses breath, awareness, and mantra to alter redox balance, regulate the autonomic nervous system, strengthen energy production, and shape brain optimization at the deepest levels. You'll Learn: • Why breathwork changes brain states faster than basic meditation and how it drives neuroplasticity • How chanting affects the vagus nerve, emotional regulation, and nervous system balance • How visualization strengthens nerve pathways, trauma resolution, and sleep optimization • The meaning behind sacred sound, vibration, and the origins of consciousness in ancient lineage training • Why monks train with martial arts, mantra repetition, and sacred geometry to enhance awareness • How yogic philosophy approaches immortality, choosing one's death, and leaving the body consciously • Why dharma shapes whether long life becomes a blessing or a curse • How plant medicine differs when used ceremonially versus recreationally • How to integrate these teachings into your own longevity, performance, and human potential strategy Dave Asprey is a four-time New York Times bestselling author, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, and the father of biohacking. With over 1,000 interviews and 1 million monthly listeners, The Human Upgrade brings you the knowledge to take control of your biology, extend your longevity, and optimize every system in your body and mind. Each episode delivers cutting-edge insights in health, performance, neuroscience, supplements, nutrition, biohacking, emotional intelligence, and conscious living. New episodes are released every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday (BONUS). Dave asks the questions no one else will and gives you real tools to become stronger, smarter, and more resilient.
