Eddie's final coaching season is coming up fast and today he shares his newest mantra "ABC"
In this episode, I am joined by Dr Christopher “Hareesh” Wallis, a Sanskritist and scholar-practitioner of Classical Tantra. Christopher recounts his unusual upbringing, early meetings with Osho and Muktananda, early shaktipat experiences, and powerful spiritual awakenings. Christopher traces his educational journey under professors such as Douglas Brooks and Alexis G. J. S. Sanderson, offers his opinions about optimal pedagogy for Sanskrit language study, and questions lineage claims made in Tibetan Buddhism. Christopher also considers the tension between religious faith and academic skepticism, explains why he thinks it is possible to receive spiritual benefit from corrupt gurus, and descries why he believes spiritual awakening leads to a deep trust in the unfolding of life. … Video version: www.guruviking.com Also available on Youtube, iTunes, & Spotify – search ‘Guru Viking Podcast'. … Topics include: 00:00 - Intro 00:57 - An unusual family of origin 03:28 - Mother's conversion to Hinduism 03:50 - Meeting Osho and Swami Muktananda 05:17 - Awakening experience at 16 years old 05:55 - Attraction to Tantric Shaivism 07:35 - Academic training and intellectual infatuation 09:00 - Multiple teachers 10:13 - Seeing through intellectual ego 12:57 - Teenage rebellion and psychedelics 14:44 - Love of sci fi and fantasy 17:05 - Siddha yoga shaktipat 18:33 - Gurumayi Chidvilasananda 20:33 - Heart opening shaktipat 24:01 - Saint or psychopath? 28:26 - The guru's shadow 30:18 - Transmission from a disgraced guru 32:25 - No single objective reality 35:32 - No doubts despite guru's flaws 38:18 - Has Christopher missed the point? 39:53 - Parsing subjective certainty 41:55 - A belief but not really 43:21 - Innate intelligence and trusting the unfolding of life 46:50 - Harmonising with the pattern 50:17 - Don't pretend to be more enlightened that you are 51:56 - The same awakening as the Buddha's 54:22 - Waking up out of your tradition 55:32 - Agnosticism about reincarnation 57:29 - BA at Rochester 01:00:53 - Alexis G. (20 INSTRUCCIONES ESPIRITUALES IMPORTANTES) Nuestra tercera instrucción espiritual es la de repetir un Mantra. Hoy vamos a desglozar la importancia de esta técnica que va muchísimo más allá de lo que te puedes imaginar. Los Mantras moldean nuestra mente, nuestro pensamiento y por ende, nuestra realidad. ¡Espero te inspire!
If your mind is always scanning, bracing, and expecting the worst, it's not “just anxiety”, it's Negative Mind overdrive from generational trauma, stress biology, and guilt loops hijacking discernment, intuition, and peace. And let me be clear: there is nothing negative about the Negative Mind. In Kundalini Yoga, the Negative Mind is your protector, it's meant to help you pause, see red flags, and make clean decisions. The problem isn't the Negative Mind… it's what trauma did to it.In this episode of the Sovereign Sister Movement Podcast, I teach you how to retrain the nervous system, restore discernment, and stop treating guilt like God using Kundalini Yoga Therapy + A Course in Miracles (Jesus Christ's correction on guilt). As a first-time generational cycle breaker, sovereignty isn't a vibe, it's a brain + nervous system reality. Your lineage didn't only pass down stories. It passed down protective programming: stay on guard, expect the worst, don't relax, don't trust. That alarm can steal your present moment, turn relationships into courtrooms, and trap your identity in a survival role.Inside this episode, we break down:-The Kundalini Yoga map of the 10 Bodies + the 3 minds (Negative, Positive, Neutral)-What a healthy Negative Mind is designed to do (discernment, red flags, clean “no”) vs. how trauma distorts it into hypervigilance, paranoia, and worry-The brain science of stress: why clarity disappears when the “alarm team” takes the mic-How guilt distorts perception, hijacks discernment, and keeps the alarm on across generations-A Course in Miracles (Jesus Christ): guilt as a feeling vs. a state, the continuum from false guiltlessness → true guiltlessness, and why guilt is not evidence—it's a signal perception is distorted-Why forgiveness is both spiritual and biophysical (and how it restores perception so guidance gets clear again)-A powerful mantra for the Negative Mind: Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad (the “master key” to reverse negativity into sovereignty)If you're tired of living like you're about to get in trouble… if you want intuition that doesn't collapse under stress… if you're ready to stop letting guilt drive the mind, this episode will help you rebuild the Inner Sanctuary where God-led self-authority becomes normal again.Chapters/TimeStamps 00:00 Negative Mind overdrive isn't “just anxiety”02:05 Cycle breakers + inherited alarm programming (nervous system reality)04:25 The 10 Bodies + the 3 minds (Negative / Positive / Neutral)07:30 There's nothing negative about the Negative Mind (protector vs. distortion)12:10 Stress biology: why clarity and intuition disappear under pressure16:05 How guilt keeps the alarm on + turns relationships into courtrooms20:30 Mantra science + “taking out the garbage” from the subconscious24:10 Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad (meaning + how to practice)30:00 ACIM: guilt as feeling vs state (why you can't separate from God)36:10 False guiltlessness → neurotic guilt → healthy guilt → true guiltlessness41:30 Guilt vs God: how guidance actually feels45:15 Forgiveness as perception shift (spiritual + biophysical)49:30 Integration + invitation to train sovereignty inside the SanctuaryReady to train this inside the Sovereign Sister Sanctuary?Join the membership + train nervous system sovereignty (body, mind, spirit) for seven generations before and after.

When 49ers rookie cornerback Upton Stout was selected in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft, his first phone call with the organization went viral. He showed a charisma and passion in that first interaction that has carried over onto the field. Stout will start at nickel Saturday vs. the Seahawks in the NFC divisional round of the NFL playoffs, a far cry from the hills of Western Kentucky where he started making a name for himself. On this episode of "49ers Talk," Matt Maiocco sits down with the determined rookie to reflect on what motivates him to be successful, his biggest adjustment since becoming a professional and what a return of Fred Warner would mean to this team and special season. Matt also joins co-host Jennifer Lee Chan to discuss the news that Fred Warner was officially ruled out for Saturday's playoff game, as well as injury updates on WR Ricky Pearsall's status and other limited players. The duo discuss the impact Warner's presence at practice has had on the team this week, and how Seahawks QB (and former 49ers backup) Sam Darnold's lack of success in big games will follow him throughout his career unless he can turn it around; an apparent oblique injury won't help that cause.--(0:00) Discussion around Fred Warner being ruled out for the divisional round of the NFL playoffs(4:00) Even though he's not going to play, he's going to travel with the team to Seattle -- why Warner being there will positively affect the team(8:00) How Pearsall looks on the practice field, if he plays he won't be 100%, not until his PCL is more healed(10:00) The 49ers are the biggest underdog (+7) of all the divisional playoff games this weekend, they like being in this position(15:00) Upton Stout Interview(20:00) What gave Stout confidence to compete at this level, what did he learn at Western Kentucky to help him achieve that(23:00) How Stout has been quieting doubters his whole career, motivated to earn respect of the league(36:00) Sam Darnold's lack of past success in the playoffs will follow him throughout his career unless he starts winning in big games Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Vital Veda Podcast: Ayurveda | Holistic Health | Cosmic and Natural Law
In this profound wisdom session, Dylan sits with Dr Krishna Raju to explore how fear consciousness disrupts health, and how prāṇa, pulse awareness, and subtle Ayurvedic sciences restore balance at the deepest level.Rather than approaching disease as something external to fight, this conversation returns to a core Ayurvedic truth: health and illness arise first in consciousness. Through stories, clinical insights, and lineage-based knowledge, Dr Raju explains how fear weakens prāṇa, how confidence and understanding support healing, and why Ayurveda prioritises early imbalance long before disease manifests. This episode weaves together classical Ayurvedic philosophy, pulse wisdom, marma science, and lived experience from generations of Vaidyas, offering a rare glimpse into healing that begins within.IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS:

There is this strange idea floating around that spiritual people need to be docile doormats, or never stand up for ourselves when we are attacked. In this episode, I talk about how important it is to stand up for ourselves when it is necessary and warranted to do so. In 2026, I want all of y'all to feel comfortable and justified in standing up for yourselves. Standing up for yourself is not 'doing harm' to someone else. It is important that we are able to embody warrior energy, and not start fights, but finish them when we are in the right circumstances. Step into your power and confidence in 2026!-Secrets of a Witch is a podcast by writer, artist, and spiritual teacher Sabrina Scott. Let us know what you enjoy about the show! What if your favorite creative mantra is quietly making your work worse? In this episode, we explore how well-worn phrases like “story is king” and “trust the process” can feel grounding—while subtly eroding responsibility, discernment, and engagement. Drawing inspiration from Creativity, Inc. by Ed Catmull, we look at how language meant to guide us can become a stand-in for the deeper work it's meant to represent. We reflect on how “trust the process” can quietly drift into “the process will fix it,” and why that shift can make even talented, well-intentioned teams more passive over time. This conversation invites a more grounded approach:Turning values into visible habitsLetting meetings, rhythms, and review practices reveal what we actually prioritizeCreating space for early questioning instead of last-minute heroicsRewarding awareness, not just outcomesRather than relying on clever lines to carry us through, we explore what it looks like to live inside the work—testing assumptions, noticing what's fragile, and staying present with what's being asked of us in real time.If you've ever pinned a slogan on the wall and hoped it would steady a wobbly project, this episode offers a quieter, more reliable path. One that asks us to look at our calendars, our conversations, and our choices—and notice where the real standards are being set. Thanks for listening. In this mind-expanding conversation of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, Michael A. Singer—legendary author of bestsellers The Untethered Soul, Living Untethered, and The Surrender Experiment, and founder of Temple of the Universe—returns to reveal the real truth behind spiritual awakening...and why most people are getting it wrong. If you've ever wondered what a spiritual awakening actually looks like on a practical, everyday level, this is the breakdown you've been waiting for. Michael shares a step-by-step framework for building your spiritual identity, and explains why awakenings mean nothing unless you can properly integrate them into your daily life. You'll learn why resilience is the #1 key to coping with modern stress, and why every authentic spiritual teacher puts compassion at the forefront of their teachings. Michael reveals how compassion and acceptance are deeply connected—and how this powerful combination leads to cooperation, unity, and humanity's highest good. We also dive into the science behind spirituality, exploring the brain states of acceptance vs. resistance, and how eliminating the distractions of early emotions and personal narratives can open the door to higher consciousness. Michael even explains why we don't matter nearly as much as we think we do—and why that realization is actually the most liberating truth of all. You'll hear his bold perspective on why we must fix ourselves before trying to fix the world, his belief that science is finally catching up to spirituality, and why the power of awe might be the missing ingredient in your spiritual evolution. Michael also breaks down the concept of the higher self, how to access it, and what it truly feels like to live untethered and surrender to the universe (spoiler: it DOESN'T mean blindly accepting everything that happens—he explains the difference). Plus: his surprising proof that rich people are just as unhappy as everyone else, and his heartfelt message for beginners stepping onto the spiritual path for the first time. And for the first time ever, he shares an exclusive announcement and preview of his upcoming book, along with his mind-bending thoughts on where consciousness really lies… and what happens to consciousness when we die. If you're ready to challenge everything you think you know about spirituality, identity, awakening, and the nature of existence itself, this is the episode of MBB you can't afford to miss. There is no point in setting goals from a place of “I need to prove myself”. You don't need to set goals to fix yourself. You don't need to set goals to earn your place in the worldYou don't need to set goals to show people you are worthy. You are already enough. We have to start the year from a context of enoughness. In this episode, my mom and I sit down for a grounded, heart-led conversation about the energetic landscape of January and why it's completely normal if the “new year energy” hasn't arrived yet. We explore why January is more of an integration and planning month, and how both Eastern and Western astrology point to the true energetic reset happening later, around February and March, rather than on January 1st. If you've been feeling reflective, slower, or still in hibernation mode, this episode will help you understand why and how to work with it instead of pushing against it. We also guide you through how to choose a mantra for 2026 one that's supportive, embodied, and aligned with the energy you're actually moving through, rather than rooted in pressure or urgency. This episode is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and begin the year with intention, clarity, and self-trust on your own timing. Perfect for anyone feeling behind, overwhelmed, or curious about how to move into 2026 in alignment rather than force. Here are 15 intention words someone might choose for 2026: Alignment Trust Devotion Expansion Ease Courage Sovereignty Presence Consistency Flow Embodiment Clarity Resilience Authenticity Groundedness Let us know what word(s) you choose! These past few weeks, we've been discussing some slightly more esoteric ideas including the ethos and strategy around Vāmācāra, the often misunderstood and misrepresented "left-hand path" of Tantra. Since it's the Gregorian new year, and since we're just about to roll out some Vāmācāra stuff in both practice and theory, in the light of Śrī Ramakrishna I thought it'd be good to start with this discussion from the Kāmakalā Vilāsa, an important Sri Vidya text in which we learn the bīja mantra which is, arguably, the foundational bīja for all śakti vidyās. We both present the bija as well as some exegesis on how it represents the entire universe, which is entirely reflected non-differently in the mirror of Consciousness, which is my very own Self, all for the sake of play. You'll find all of our other lectures on Vāmācāra here, in this rapidly growing playlist! Happy Gregorian New Year! Spiritual life is unbelievably simple. It is essentially all about single-pointed, sincere, intense love for God, by whatever name you want to call Her! It's about obsessions and absorption, about losing yourself in love for that which is most love-able, Love Itself. It's all about just choosing one Ideal and like a moth into flame, plunging recklessly into it! It should be fun! It should always be fun. It's the most fun! But, part of the fun is that we tend to make things very complicated for ourselves! Especially given how maximalist the Tāntrik tradition can be with all of its concepts, tools and techniques, we tend to ask somewhat unimportant questions and focus on peripheral, non-essential, and often unhelpful priorities. There is a great temptation and proclivity in Tantra to overcomplicate. As such, the so-called left hand path of Tantra (Kaulamārga, Vāmācāra etc.) has always emphasized intensity and sincerity over rules and purity, force and feeling over form and finesseecstasy of feeling over technicality and thought! Let's fucking lose our heads and go crazy for Mā already! What the fuck are you waiting for? The world is mad! Let the dead bury their dead. Fuck 'em. Lets go dance mad with joy in the smaśāna with our friends, the ghosts and drink deep the liquor of devotion! Here are the 3 simple, direct, no-nonsense, single-syllable mantras to do just that! ^ Jai fucking Mā! ...So then Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, Romans 10:17 (KJV)
On New Year's Day, Cyndera Quackenbush welcomes Julienne (Jules) Givot back to the Archetypal Tarot Podcast to revive a long-standing tradition: a collective archetypal and tarot reflection for the coming year. The episode serves as a contemplative portal blending tarot, archetypal psychology, lived experience, and cultural reflection after a difficult and grief-laden 2025. The core archetype drawn for the year is The Amateur, selected from the Identity Pursuit archetype board game (no longer in print). Rather than framing the future through mastery or expertise, the hosts explore the Amateur as a figure of humility, love, experimentation, and community. Light aspects of the Amateur: Doing something for love rather than reward or compensation Following the heart without needing certainty or expertise Allowing messiness, openness, and shared learning Creating the path by walking it, together Shadow aspects: Undervaluing oneself or one's work Exaggerating or misrepresenting skill or authority Cultural dangers of “false experts” and influencer culture lacking depth, lineage, or accountability The Amateur becomes a response to collapsing patriarchal systems, toxic productivity, and ego-driven power structures. In a time of upheaval, the hosts argue that not knowing—and admitting we don't know—is both honest and necessary. Community Over Heroism A recurring insight is the movement away from the lone hero narrative. Healing and survival are framed as collective, relational processes, not individual burdens. The Amateur archetype supports community-based learning, mutual care, and shared responsibility, especially amid political violence, war, and systemic injustice. Cyndera shares personal experiences offering donation-based tarot readings illustrating how amateur energy can reduce pressure, invite openness, and foster authentic connection—while still raising questions about value, sustainability, and self-worth. Two additional archetype cards pop out in the podcast! Listen in to hear all about The Poet and The Victim. Tarot Card for 2026: Judgment Cyndera draws Judgment from the Major Arcana, using Natasia Rowland's Tarot Emblemata deck. Key interpretations: Awakening after devastation Truth revealed; what was hidden can no longer stay hidden Liberation from old constraints (symbolized by broken shackles) A collective rising—not individual salvation Judgment is framed not as punishment, but as reckoning, clarity, and rebirth. It echoes upcoming astrological themes (notably the Fire Horse year) suggesting that small sparks from 2025 may explode into unavoidable illumination in 2026. The hosts close by weaving the Amateur and Judgment together: It's okay not to know. It's not all on our shoulders. Love, community, creativity, and faith (in whatever form) are sustaining forces. The future is not about perfection or mastery, but participation. Mantra for 2026: Be amateurs. Love what you do. Rise together. 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10. After the recording of the podcast (on January 1) a rainbow was visible in Joshua Tree, CA. Is it possible that collectively we can welcome a “10 of Cups” kind of year?

What if the habit you've been trying to break is actually how you learned to survive? It's January. You've made the resolution. This year will be different. You start strong. First week goes well. By February, you're back where you started. Maybe feeling worse because now you've added shame to the pile. I share about Rachel, a 42-year-old marketing director. She tried everything to stop late-night eating. Willpower. Mantras. Accountability apps. Nothing worked for more than a few weeks. When I asked what she felt right before reaching for food, she'd never thought about it. That knot in her stomach? It went away when she ate. Her nervous system had found a way to keep emotions manageable. This wasn't about the food. It was about how she was getting through life. In this episode you'll hear more about: Why willpower isn't the problem: When we try to remove a survival strategy through willpower alone, our nervous system panics. We just took away one of its tools without offering anything in its place. The difference between a habit and a survival strategy: A habit is brushing our teeth or taking the same route to work. A survival strategy helps us cope when capacity has been overwhelmed. Late-night eating, scrolling, overworking—these are never just habits. Why our body fights back: Our nervous system won't give up a survival strategy easily. Its job is to help us survive. Of course we're back at the refrigerator by end of January. What one of my course members realized: "My protectors are able to relax when I create safety and support in my nervous system." That's the step most people miss. Why capacity matters for resolutions: Capacity is how much stress we can hold before we get overwhelmed. When we remove a survival strategy without building capacity, we overflow right back into overwhelm. Two ways to create space: We can create safety inside our current container. This removes the need for numbing and distraction. Or we can build a larger container that holds more. It is never about the behavior. The behavior is the downstream effect. When we understand this, we can work with our biology instead of against it. Resources/Guides: Biology of Trauma book - Available now everywhere books are sold. Get your copy
Understanding you need boundaries? Fine. Setting them? Different story. This week we're getting practical—I'm walking you through exactly how to set boundaries, what to say, how to hold them when people push back, and what happens when you start protecting your time, energy, and peace. Spoiler: it gets worse before it gets better. When you set a boundary, people are going to test it, question it, call you selfish, tell you you've changed. But here's what's actually happening—what you were doing benefited them, and that benefit is going away. This is Episode 200, and it's only fitting that it's about boundaries. In this episode: The extinction burst: why boundary-testing gets louder before it stops (and what happens if you cave) The five-step process: get clear on the boundary, communicate it without over-explaining, hold the line, expect the guilt, and notice who respects it Scripts for setting boundaries: "I've decided [boundary], and I understand if it's disappointing, but this is what's going to be" Mantras for holding boundaries: "No is a complete sentence," "Their discomfort is not yours to fix," "Boundaries are not mean, they are clear" What boundaries look like with kids (teaching them how to treat you), parents (protecting yourself from what they didn't give you), partners (equity and shared responsibility), and friends (balance on the ladder) The three outcomes when you hold boundaries: some adjust, some resist then accept, some leave—and what each tells you about the relationship Quote of the week: "Their disappointment is not our failure. Their struggle is not ours to fix. It is not our job to make them happy. Your job is to raise them to be capable, respectful, and independent adults." Practice for this week: One boundary. Just one. Ask yourself: Where am I the most resentful? What am I tolerating that I no longer want to tolerate? What boundary would protect my time, energy, or peace? Write it down. Practice saying it out loud. Then hold it, even if it's uncomfortable.
As the year comes to a close, Athena and Mims reflect on the words we speak—intentionally and unintentionally—over our homes. In this episode, they explore how family mantras, morning routines, shared symbols, and spoken affirmations shape the tone, culture, and identity of a family. They discuss:How words set the emotional climate of your homeMorning and evening practices that speak life (even for non-morning people
In this discussion, Mike and Glenn explore the crucial question: "Now what?" as they look ahead to 2026. They delve into how living a life driven by passion and purpose is essential for true success.Key takeaways from the conversation include:The "Work" is the Key: The principle of "Drive," which mirrors the active approach of the AA program, suggests that to elevate your life, you must actively do the work. The Mantra of Success: Embrace the commitment: "If you want what we have and are willing to go to any length to get it," recognizing that success requires unwavering dedication.Action is Everything: The idea that "AA doesn't work" is true only if you don't work the program. Similarly, if you want a better life, you must live a better life.Showing Up is Non-Negotiable: Glenn and Mike agree that simply showing up is a foundational part of "going to any length."Direction through Awareness: Self-awareness is key to understanding your proper direction and requires being open to new experiences.Inspired by The Purpose Driven Life: Drawing inspiration from Rick Warren's book, they advocate for incorporating spirituality and serving others into your plan.Mike and Glenn emphasize that the time for passive wishing is over—it's time to take action to achieve the life you want.
