This week AP and Jay discuss the aftermath of the Breonna Taylor decision, the outcome being beyond disappointing and this country is in dire need of change. Penn State Black Caucus held a vigil for her as well as a protest and march that following Saturday in downtown State College with the help of the 3/20 Coalition, (I messed up the numbers in the episode sorry - AP). We also talk about how non-black people can show better support for BLM, as well as discussing. And we're sick of talking about it, you're sick of hearing it, but for some reason we STILL have to talk about people taking COVID-19 seriously and y'alls deplorable, irresponsible behavior on the weekends. Please be responsible and make sure your friends are doing the same. This episode we discuss the chaos of move-in weekend and the stress of going back to college during a pandemic, especially with privileged freshman breaking the Borough and University COVID Ordinances and continue to get away with their irresponsible behaviors. On the topic of privilege we discuss Jacob Blake and the Kenosha shooting and how white terrorists like Kyle Rittenhouse are portrayed in the media compared to innocent victims, such as Trayvon Martin, killed by the police or in the hands of white supremacists.
