Episode 147 welcomes Corey into the Jungle, bringing the perspective of a content creator navigating an era where attention is currency and authenticity is constantly being tested. From building an audience to staying relevant in an ever-changing digital landscape, Corey opens up about his journey, the lessons he's learned along the way, and what it really takes to create content that connects with people beyond a quick scroll. The conversation explores the highs, the frustrations, and the reality of trying to build something meaningful in a world obsessed with going viral. The music segment delivers a little bit of everything. Lil Tjay's "They Just Ain't You" sparks discussion about heartbreak, moving on, and whether some people truly leave a lasting imprint on your life. Zeddy Will's "Party At The Beach" shifts the energy toward feel-good vibes and reminds the room that sometimes music is meant to be enjoyed without overthinking it. Giveon's BELOVED: Act 2 brings emotion back to the forefront, leading into a conversation about vulnerability, storytelling, and why some artists can make heartbreak feel universal. Toosii's "Proud of Me" resonates with themes of growth and validation, while the collaboration between Chris Brown and Leon Thomas gets everyone talking about vocal chemistry, artistry, and the evolution of modern R&B. The culture segment doesn't disappoint. Ice Spice once again finds herself dominating timelines, proving that the internet never stays focused on one thing for too long. Druski making history as one of the youngest hosts of the BET Awards sparks conversation about comedy, influence, and how creators are becoming major players in entertainment. And with the Knicks playing some of their best basketball in years, the room naturally turns into a mix of celebration, skepticism, and passionate sports debate about whether this run is finally the one fans have been waiting for. As always, the deepest conversations come when relationships hit the table. The squad debates whether you're obligated to take your partner's side during conflicts with family and friends, even when they're clearly in the wrong. Then comes a conversation about intimacy and initiative: should the person with the higher sex drive be expected to make the first move more often, or should pursuit stay balanced regardless of desire? Social media enters the discussion as the crew breaks down whether it's a problem when your partner starts following your friends back online, and whether harmless interactions can sometimes create unnecessary tension. Finally, the episode closes with a modern dating question that almost everyone can relate to: in today's world, are people more likely to find meaningful connections through social media, or does meeting someone face-to-face still hold an advantage that the internet can't replicate? Episode 147 is funny, insightful, and packed with the kind of conversations that blur the line between entertainment and real life. From content creation and music to sports and relationships, this is another reminder that nothing stays off-limits once you step into the Jungle. In this episode, Ian Von sits down with rising R&B artist RJ The Weirdo to unpack his unique sound, his bold honesty in songwriting, and his mission to bring accountability and emotion back to R&B. RJ opens up about the story behind his name, the influence of his father and Dallas' diverse music scene, and how genre-bending, vulnerability, and raw truth shape his music. He and Ian dig into the culture of “toxic” relationships, why honest male perspectives matter, and how R&B can once again be a space where men and women truly hear each other. They also walk through RJ's debut project At Least She's Beautiful—from the headspace he was in while creating it, to standout tracks like “Perfect One” (feat. Ty Dolla $ign) and “Tricks Are For Kids.” RJ shares how fatherhood softened and deepened his love for women, the guilt and grind of pursuing music while parenting, and how being homeless in L.A. and ghostwriting led him to being signed to Ty Dolla $ign & Leon Thomas' EZMNY. This is a powerful, vulnerable conversation about artistry, manhood, love, and the beauty of just telling the truth.

Hosted by Analytic Dreamz, this analysis covers the 9-track, 31-minute album—his first solo project in nearly a decade since 24K Magic (2016)—blending retro-soul, disco-pop, funk, 1970s influences (Curtis Mayfield, Philly soul), and Latin elements like bolero, cha-cha, and mariachi for a crooner-forward, romantic vibe timed near Valentine's.Lead single “I Just Might” (January 9, 2026) debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with retro-funk/disco energy and a Leo Sayer interpolation. Follow-up “Risk It All” dropped with the album, featuring mariachi-styled visuals and wedding-themed romance. Early streaming shows strong momentum on Spotify and Apple Music, boosted by billions from recent hits “Die With a Smile” (with Lady Gaga, 2025 Grammy winner) and “APT.” (with Rosé, Grammy-nominated).Critical reception is mixed: praise for vocal polish, production, and crowd-pleasing retro-soul (Rolling Stone: positive crowd-pleaser; NME: 4/5 mature persona), but some critique homage-heavy predictability and sentimentality (Paste: D+ overly sentimental). Physical editions include translucent red and gold vinyl for collectors.Analytic Dreamz highlights strategic insights: short runtime for high completion/replay rates, playlist-friendly nostalgia, Latin market expansion, wedding/event utility for long-tail streams, catalog halo from legacy smashes (“Just the Way You Are,” “Versace on the Floor”), and steady streaming over viral spikes. The Romantic Tour kicks off early April 2026 in Las Vegas (Allegiant Stadium), spanning North America through late May, Europe (Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan, London) late June–mid July, and back to U.S./Vancouver by mid-October. Features Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee, plus select supports like Leon Thomas, Raye, Victoria Monet. This polished, formula-consistent revival reinforces Bruno's retro-romantic brand, leveraging hiatus demand and prior collaborations for sustained commercial longevity.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/analytic-dreamz-notorious-mass-effect/exclusive-contentPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

The compact 9-track, 31-minute project on Atlantic Records delivers a ballad-heavy, mid-1970s retro-soul vibe with strong Motown and Philly soul influences, emphasizing slow-dance romance and timeless dancing.Launch day dominated US Spotify: lead single "I Just Might" (January 2026 Hot 100 #1, Grammy-performed) jumped to #3, while "Risk It All"—a Latin-influenced bolero ballad with mariachi trumpets, violins, guitarrón, and vihuela—debuted at #1 with 2.32 million streams. "Cha Cha Cha" (#6) and "God Was Showing Off" (#8) joined for 4 Top 10 entries, plus 8 in the Top 20 total."Risk It All" music video (co-directed by Mars and Daniel Ramos) features a wedding narrative in a vintage Catholic church, mariachi band, all-white suit and cowboy hat, "Just Married" exit, and life montage—perfect for Latin crossover appeal, backed by co-signs from Rancho Humilde, Fuerza Regida's JOP, and Ivan Cornejo.Critical takes praise vocal prowess, cohesive aesthetic, and authentic vintage textures, though some note cliché lyrics and limited depth compared to Silk Sonic's collaborative energy.Promotion included The Romantic Flower Shop pop-up in LA with free flowers, photo ops, merch, and global "love lock" walls. The Bros are back in person and the vibes are high. The Snow is melting but 2026 is heating up in a good and bad ways. The Bros first discuss their lengthy Weekend Recap trying to survive the ice and being fathers, spending time with family and tapping into new Music. The first conversation is about J Cole's new “Birthday Blizzard” freestyle he dropped last week and some of the controversial things that came from those records. Terrance and Terrell both share a favorite of the four, and discuss if somebody should respond to J Cole and the possibility of him sliding bars Kendrick's way. A good conversation but you know how they get with that sensitive topic. This is all before diving into their thoughts on the 2026 Grammy Awards. A MALLORY BROS PODCAST MUTHAFUCKIN TRADITION! They've been making predictions all year and the winners are finally chosen. Of course they chop it and dive deep into trending opinions from Grammy night like the hate that Olivia Dean received after winning best new artist, Kendrick Lamar & SZA Wins, Leon Thomas & Kehlani R&B, Bad Bunny Wins the Big One AOTY, Clipse coming up short to Kendrick Lamar's GNX for Best Rap Album over Clipse and Terrance even make's a point that the Clipse seemed to be living in Pharrell's shadow. EVERYTHING IS A LOT. Next, the Bros talk about how the Hip Hop World froze when an Epstein file dropped including the names of Jayz and Pusha T. They discuss the seriousness of knowing the legality of these claims while also pointing out the very obvious contradictions and hesitations to cover this story from other media outlets. This news has Hip Hop in a pinch. Terrell says “The only choice is to just wait.” Next the Terrance has a list of actors/actresses he found that he says were PERFECT for a role, but didn't get the part. A lot these you probably won't know and the topic is filled with a lot of good details about the films as well. Not just the roles and auditions process. Terrell gives a hot take on Bacon before the Bros wrap up Episode 289 with the Movie Suggestions of the week. BROS BBQ TASTE SO GOOD.

From snowy streets and parking stress to champagne pours and borrowed Jack Daniels LOL, Episode 207 kicks off exactly how you'd expect: real life first, music and mess immediately after. The girls catch up on work, fatigue, winter blues, and the struggle of leaving the house when parking is on the line. Then it's time to pour up and get into what really matters the Grammys, aka our Super Bowl. And surprisingly? Nobody's mad.We break down standout wins, performances, and speeches, including Duran Bernard's well-deserved Grammy moment, Kehlani's continued rise, and why some artists just know when they're in their bag. There's deep appreciation for authenticity, longevity, and artists who stay true to themselves while still winning. Of course, it wouldn't be RCC without side commentary: confusion over new artists, debates about breath control, and very strong feelings about tributes, vocals, and who understood the assignment. Lauryn Hill's tribute sparks thoughtful (and slightly chaotic) conversation, while performances from Lucky Daye, Leon Thomas, and others get their flowers.   What We Get Into: Virtual recording chaos and tired-girl energy Snow, parking stress, and why leaving the house is a risk Pour-up check: champagne vs. Jack Daniels Grammy wins that actually made sense Duran Bernard's journey and long-overdue recognition Kehlani's Grammy moment and musical evolution Album pacing, artist rollouts, and letting music breathe Performances, vocals, and who really understood the assignment Lauryn Hill's tribute and honoring legends properly New artists, breath control debates, and musical curiosity Red Cup Rule of the week: stop being a hater     The Soundtrack: Muni Long  - Delulu Tone Stith - Waiting on You   Say HI to kidz on Social: Rima IG| just.karima_ Court IG| keepinitcourtt Pod IG| rccpod Rate, and Review on Apple Podcast  Website: https://www.redcuppod.com Email: Redcuppod@gmail.com

After 24K Magic (2016), Silk Sonic, and recent smashes like “Die With a Smile” and “APT.,” this marks his first solo album in nearly a decade.Co-written/produced by Mars, D'Mile, Philip Lawrence, and Brody Brown, the mid-tempo disco-pop/pop-soul cut layers funk guitar, bold brass, and pristine vocals with nods to Leo Sayer's 1976 classic “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.” The co-directed music video (Bruno Mars & Daniel Ramos; choreography by Mars & Phil Tayag) features a 1970s soundstage, multi-instrumental performance, and “clone” versions of Mars, quickly surpassing 11 million YouTube views.Early metrics (as of January 13-14, 2026) set career highs: Spotify US debut #1 (1.94M Day-1 streams), Global #3 (4.97M Day-1)—his largest solo Spotify global debut ever. It instantly topped US iTunes and claimed 71% of votes in Billboard's Best New Music poll, outpacing The Kid LAROI, Zach Bryan, and Robyn. Release triggered catalog resurgence, with “That's What I Like” and “Locked Out of Heaven” re-entering Billboard Global 200 charts, placing four Mars tracks simultaneously.Analytic Dreamz examines the strategic rollout: no genre reinvention, but flawless execution leveraging nostalgia, polished showmanship, and fan demand for elite streaming, digital sales, and immediate approval. Positive reception highlights catchiness, dance-floor energy, and nostalgia; pushback includes creative stagnation critiques and renewed cultural appropriation discussions around retro Black music homage. Yet the data underscores commercial dominance, priming The Romantic—a romantic, retro-forward feel-good project—for strong first-week impact, amplified by The Romantic Tour (April–October 2026 across North America, Canada, Europe; presale January 14, onsale January 15; supports DJ Pee .Wee/Anderson .Paak, Leon Thomas, Raye, Victoria Monét).Join Analytic Dreamz for this no-fluff breakdown of Bruno Mars' strategically perfect 2026 comeback launch. Episode 99: Ty Dolla $ign. One of the only artists to earn TWO diamond records in the last decade, Ty Dolla $ign joins us for a deep, musician-to-musician conversation about a career built on trust, taste, and timeless records. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ty grew up surrounded by live music through his father, musician Tyrone Griffin Sr. of Lakeside, learning instruments at a young age and developing a deep respect for musicianship before fame ever entered the picture. In this interview, Ty breaks down his journey from South Central LA to becoming one of the most trusted collaborators in modern music. We talk through the early days of Beach House, the breakout impact of “Paranoid” and “Or Nah” with DJ Mustard, and how songwriting and features like “Loyal" and “Psycho” helped shape his rise. Ty reflects on the making of Free TC, the emotional weight behind the album, and carrying his brother with him throughout his career. Ty opens up about working across genres, collaborating with artists like The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Skrillex, YG, Wiz Khalifa, Terrace Martin, Kanye, and more. We talk his songwriting and production process, and how he approaches features musically, treating voices like instruments and focusing on frequency, tone, and feel over star power. We also dive into his role as a label co-founder with EZMNY Records, signing and developing Leon Thomas, and witnessing Leon's rapid rise from artist development to Grammy-nominated albums (Electric Dusk and Mutt). Ty shares his philosophy on mentorship, artist development, long term friendships, women, and building a label rooted in belief and musicianship. We get into Vultures, creative collaboration at scale, returning to solo work with Tycoon, and what longevity, growth, and being a “musician first” really mean to him today. This is an honest, in-depth look at Ty Dolla $ign's career. The hits, the craft, the relationships, and the long game. I hope you enjoy episode 99. Lets go!! Leon Thomas has been working in the entertainment industry since he was just a kid. He got his start on Broadway, performing in “The Lion King” when he was eight. He then landed a starring role on the hit Nickelodeon show “Victorious” with Ariana Grande. But behind the scenes, Leon was quietly building his music career, writing and producing songs. Now, he's one of the most nominated people at this year's Grammys, with six nods, including one for album of the year. Leon sits down with Tom Power to talk about his journey from Broadway to Nickelodeon to R&B superstardom.

Usually we got a guest for y'all on Thursdays, but this week we're flipping the schedule. Seasonal depression is real, but we got you with a new episode earlier in the week than usual. Usher suing Bryan-Michael Cox has Rory interrogating Mal about DVSN's "If I Get Caught" music video and where the funds came from. There is no reason why anybody should be throwing down at a Leon Thomas concert. Mal translates for Wale 'cause he wasn't standing ten toes down during his Breakfast Club interview. Plus, Mal thinks New Edition might be the greatest music group of all-time, but can they win a Verzuz against the Jackson 5? #volume All lines provided by hardrock.betSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It’s been a few days since The Grammy’s released their nominations, but we got y’all. It looks like Leon Thomas might sweep up all the R&B categories. Rory thinks Clipse should bag a Grammy or two, but Mal knows the committee already has their mind made up. Max B is finally out, and the hood showed up for him. Outkast was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and Rory approved of all the tribute performances…except for one. Summer Walker’s new project drops Friday, and her rollout is genius. Diddy got caught drinking in prison, and we don’t blame him. We don’t shame Kim K for failing the BAR, cause we just tried and that sh*t wasn’t easy.
