Send us a textOnce again, another week in the books and more evidence that we are dealing with something in this country that we've never faced before. Legal residents are being snatched off of our streets and 'disappeared'. And if that alone isn't enough to cause extreme outrage, Federal Courts and even a unanimous Supreme Court rulings that the Trump administration must get them back are ignored. This is the point that we've never crossed in our history. People are outraged. Hundreds of thousands are demonstrating in cities and towns in every state and in countries across the globe. That is the good news. But it's also the bad news, as no doubt that these demonstrations will be the impetus for Trump to declare a national emergency and suspend elections. Lest you think that this is hyperbole, did you ever imagine that we'd be where we already are? How long until the inevitable violence occurs? Who could have seen all of this coming? Well, it turns out that Bernie Sanders was among those who saw it coming. We share.minyard.minyardpodcast@gmail.comMusic by David Horton

Lori Vallow-Daybell, already convicted for her role in a disturbing murder case, is now representing herself in a separate Arizona trial. We break down what that means, why it rarely ends well, and how this bizarre move mirrors her unraveling. Then we shift to the crypto world, where the Mantra OM token has imploded. After reaching impressive highs as a Real World Asset narrative darling, it's now crashed hard—raising serious questions about its foundations, leadership, and whether these expat-run projects ever had staying power. This is one of those episodes where the warning signs were there all along—and we connect the dots. Send us a textDiving deep into the ancient yogic philosophy of Sankalpa, wellness guide Jessica Hoch reveals how intention-setting can transform from a surface-level practice into a profound vow between heart and mind. Unlike typical goal-setting, Sankalpa requires excavating our true motivations through practices like "the nine whys" – asking yourself repeatedly why you want something until you reach the emotional core driving your desires.Jessica's approach to spirituality removes barriers by demonstrating how everyday moments can become sacred rituals. From blessing your morning beverage to selecting crystal jewelry aligned with your energy needs, these micro-practices create touchpoints throughout your day that return you to presence. The consistency of these small rituals gradually rewires neural pathways, making it easier to choose peace over anxiety when life's challenges arise. As founder of Moxie Malas jewelry and a yoga teacher with 15+ years of experience, Jessica bridges ancient wisdom with practical application. She explains how emotions physically manifest in our bodies, particularly in the hips and pelvis, and how movement practices help release these stored tensions. The fascinating connection between throat and uterus tissues – formed together in fetal development – illuminates why vocalization becomes so powerful during moments of transformation like childbirth.Whether you're struggling with stress, seeking deeper meaning in daily life, or simply curious about bringing spirituality into practical application, this conversation offers tangible practices to align your authentic self with your outward actions. By creating these bridges between heart and mind, we develop the capacity to navigate life's complexities with greater resilience, purpose, and joy.Jessica Hoch Founder and Owner of Moxie Malaswww.moxiemalas.comMusic from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/sky-toes/featherlightLicense code: ZTXJPK8BA5WMLKSF My new novel The Red Magus has recently been published in conjunction with the Unbound Press. In this episode of the Vibrant Flow Podcast, I talk with Abigail Puccioni, a former board-certified integrative health practitioner, who shares her journey from disillusionment with the wellness industry to embracing the principles of German New Medicine (GNM). We discuss the importance of perception in health, the mind-body connection, and the five biological laws that govern our physiological responses to conflict shocks. The conversation emphasizes the need for a balanced approach to health while fostering a resilient mindset. Abigail also highlights the significance of understanding our personal narratives and the impact they have on our health and well-being.Key Takeaways: The wellness industry can be disillusioning and inconsistent.Health should be more than just scraping by.Perception plays a crucial role in our health experiences.German New Medicine offers a new lens to view health.Conflict shocks lead to physiological adaptations. The five biological laws explain how our bodies respond to conflict shocks. Perfectionism can hinder our health journey. Our narratives shape our perceptions and health outcomes.Nature operates on principles that make sense biologically.Awareness and understanding are key to personal empowerment. What up, Beasts. This episode of Unveiling the Beast was pure soul fuel. I sat down with the radiant Tylynn Mackenzie, a modern day medicine woman whose healing powers stretch across lifetimes, literally. From massage therapy and Reiki to past life regressions and astrology, Tylynn's work is all about helping people peel back the layers of pain, trauma, and old patterns to uncover their truest selves. And y'all know that speaks to my whole brand. Those protective layers we build up over time? She's helping people shed them with intention and grace. Her story of escaping an abusive relationship, discovering massage as a path to heal her own body, and then letting that path crack open all her other spiritual gifts? Goosebumps. Straight-up goosebumps. We also got real about postpartum healing, how our society fails moms, and why self-care isn't a luxury, it's survival. Tylynn reminded us that healing is never one size fits all. It's layered, it's messy, and it's sacred. She beautifully explained how modalities like Reiki and astrology aren't just “woo,” they're tools for self-discovery and empowerment. And listen, if you've ever felt like your soul's been here before, her take on past lives and soul patterns might just blow your mind wide open. This episode was like a warm hug, a wake-up call, and a cosmic pep talk all in one. So if you're feeling stuck, disconnected, or just curious about what your body's trying to say, this is your sign to tune in and start unveiling your own beast. As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something you hear tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh.Bio: Tylynn Mackenzie is on a mission to experience radiance in her body, mind, and soul while helping her fellow humans shine at their fullest capacity as well through a variety of modalities. She is a multifaceted healer- a massage therapist, a reiki master, an astrologer, a tarot reader, a yomassage teacher, an akashic records reader, a past life regressionist and a modern day vision singer practicing shamanic techniques. In 2015, massage therapy school was her catalyst into the world of healing. She graduated in May of 2016 and has been on her healing journey ever since! She is trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point release, prenatal, gua sha, cupping, reflexology and energy healing. She utilizes her intuitive gifts of clairsentiance and clairvoyance with all of the modalities she practices. The more awareness humanity has of our divinity, of our soul purpose, of our karmic imprints, and of our innate gifts, the more our world heals. How the heck do I describe this book? In 1969, R. A. Lafferty wrote a novel. In it, he combined the spirituality of St. Theresa of Avila, conspiracy theories, immortal frog-men, psychic brain powers based on the ideas of the French paleontologist priest, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, badgers, modernist painters, and much, much more. Ciao, amici! Or is it, hallo freunde? We're covering an Italian movie set in Germany, so just trying to cover my bases here...Either way, hello friends and welcome! Please step right up and allow our usherette Ingrid to guide you to your seat, because we're talking about Lamberto Bava's Demons from 1985 in this week's episode!Who knew taking a ticket from a cyborg in a train station could result in so much chaos?? Whether you're in the mood to catch a flick, or even a flick within a flick, you really can't go wrong here! Dramatic Giallo-style shots, melodramatic acting and more juicy gore than you can shake a stick...or a katana at! Heck, we even have a roving gang of street thugs popping up in here! There really is something for everyone. This is truly a wild and unexpected ride, so buckle up and join us for an extra silly conversation about this mid-80's cult classic!Send us a textSupport the showPodcast art by Jayson Cessna: https://jaysoncessna.crevado.comMusic by Dusty Lane, created in LMMS.Movie clips provided by https://movie-sounds.org/horror-movie-samples/Audio Engineer: Michael Jones: https://www.facebook.com/bikerackrecords

Send us a textVIDEO PODCAST HEREPOWERPOINT HEREWe discuss a couple important discrepancies in RLDS/LDS/Restoration doctrine. We ask the question "what is our foundation"? Many different beliefs occur among current and ex LDS, RLDS, Community of Christ, and all factions of the "Restoration", but why? It comes down to foundations. What do we go to as the standard when beliefs diverge? Freemasonry, the Book of Enoch, the Inspired version or (Joseph Smith's new translation), the Doctrine and Covenants, the Book of Mormon, the Bible? How much does truth matter and what is the source of that truth? The Book of Mormon states we will be judged according to it's words and the knowledge it plainly restored about Christ's simple doctrine and gospel. How much do we value this great gift given to us in these last days? Are we willing to embrace its teaching at the expense of giving up our past traditions and beliefs when they conflict? This week on The Tarot Diagnosis Podcast, I'm continuing my monthly Tarot Therapy series by exploring a topic I've been wanting to discuss for ages: How tarot and witchcraft function as Psychodrama.Specifically, I explore how tarot and witchcraft can be understood and practiced through the lens of psychodrama, a powerful therapeutic method developed by Dr. Jacob Moreno. Psychodrama is essentially theater for the psyche. It's an embodied way of working with emotion, memory, and healing through role play, creativity, and storytelling. If you've ever lit a candle for someone you love, pulled a tarot card that made your stomach drop, or cried while drawing a protection sigil - then you've already engaged in psychodrama. In this episode, I share why I believe tarot and magick aren't just symbolic or ritualistic, but active, expressive healing tools. I talk about how tarot spreads become psyche-inspired stages, how tarot becomes characters, and how we can use these practices to externalize our inner world in ways that go beyond talk therapy.I also walk you through a guided psychodrama-inspired tarot practice using a technique called the soliloquy - a beautiful, embodied way to give voice to something you've been holding inside. ✨ In this episode, I talk about:What psychodrama is and how it relates to tarot and ritualWhy embodiment and symbolism matter for emotional healingHow to turn your tarot spread into a living storyA guided soliloquy-style tarot activity to help you release what's been unspoken Want to find out all of the ways you can connect with me live this month? In this episode, Jay talks about how we are each more than the sum of our parts. From the communal to the individual, you are more than the societal roles that you play. Likewise, you are more than a brain, emotions and a soul. Your human experience is larger than the individual moments you have. You are more than the sum.Logo was manifested by branding sherpa: Juan Carlos Morales: https://www.facebook.com/FabrikaStudioPhot...Opening beat produced by J. Grab your brownies and cue up the Gin Blossoms, this week, we're celebrating Rex Manning Day with a stoned rewatch of Empire Records . We talk chaotic retail energy, existential teen angst, rooftop dance therapy, and why Gina might actually be the most honest character in the movie. The Best Years of Our Lives made an impact when it was released back in 1946, both on the Academy with its numerous nominations and wins, but also on the movie-going public. William Wyler's film brought real-life issues of the men returning home from battle in WWII and dealing with acclimating back into society ... into the world they once knew, yet has changed. This is a special film full of important themes including social class, reintegration, disability, and friendship. With incredible performances by the entire cast, The Best Years of Our Lives is a great piece of filmmaking. After almost eight decades does this film still hold up? Is it still worthy of the top prize at the Academy Awards? Listen to film critic Jack Ferdman's take on it as he analyzes everything about The Best Years of Our Lives, as well as many other films from that year, and hear which film he gives his Rewatch Oscar of 1946.Download, listen, and share ALL Rewatching Oscar episodes.SUBSCRIBE and FOLLOW Rewatching Oscar:Website: https://rewatchingoscar.buzzsprout.comApple Podcasts/iTunesSpotifyGoogle PodcastsiHeart RadioPodchaserPodcast AddictTuneInAlexaAmazon Overcasts Podcast Addict Player FMRSS Feed: https://feeds.buzzsprout.com/1815964.rssWebsite: https://rewatchingoscar.buzzsprout.comSocial Media Links: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, BlueSkyShare your thoughts and suggestions with us through:Facebook Messanger or email us atjack@rewatchingoscar.com or jackferdman@gmail.comMusic by TurpacShow Producer: Jack FerdmanPodcast Logo Design: Jack FerdmanMovie (audio) trailer courtesy of MovieClips Classic TrailersMovie (audio) clips courtesy of YouTubeSupport us by downloading, sharing, and giving us a 5-star Rating.
