Weekly sermons from Resonate Movement, a church for the city, based in Fremont, CA
This year, we have depended on technology and political/social activism to bring us together during this on-going pandemic, but the reality is that many of us are physically, emotionally, and spiritually weaker than we've ever been. And with countless Christians isolated from their communities and seeing their church homes closing their doors indefinitely, the Church is no exception to this weakness. But what if what looks like a decline in the church... is actually a beginning for spiritual awakening? Is there hope that our churches would be so SHOOK that we would experience the kind of revival that would shake our faith and bring personal revival to us, our neighbors, our cities, and the world? Scripture shows us that this hope is real. For the next 12 weeks, we'll be looking through the early chapters of Acts to draw from what the early church understood about Jesus and our shared faith. As we draw out the essence of Christianity from this Scripture, we'll pray that the Lord brings about a new revival that we've never seen before.Pray for these 2 things along with us throughout this series:1. Lord, ignite a great awakening and spiritual revival within our cities.2. Start with me.----------------------- For the Sermon Guide & Daily Devotions to go with this sermon: https://resonatemovement.org/onlinese... In our culture... there are fights happening all around us today. In our homes as we shelter-in-place, in our marriages as unaddressed dysfunctions are revealed, with our children as distanced-learning proves to be more difficult than expected for everyone involved, in our country as we battle it out over racial tensions, social justice issues, and waring politics while the presidential election approaches. It's been traumatic for many of us. While we're fighting all over, often times we are distracted from the greatest fight... the fight between Satan and God's people. We've poured so much of our time, energy, and resources into attacking others, that we've forgotten about the real enemy who's just laying back to enjoy the show. So we, as God's people, need to remember that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and forces of darkness of this world. We must unite together in these current times to be reminded of the greater fight against the devil, our enemy, and lean on the Lord and His Word to armor ourselves for the FIGHT!

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us, for we tend by a secret law of the soul to move toward our mental image of God. This is true not only of the individual Christian, but of the company of Christians that composes the Church. Always the most revealing thing about the Church is her idea of God.” - A.W. TozerWhat is YOUR idea of God? How do you see Him? We become what we believe about who God is. The way we worship Him is based on how high our thoughts are of God. So how does your life reflect the God you follow? Join us as we enter into a new sermon series called Behold, as we reflect on the attributes of God.
It's Baptism Sunday! And we are so excited to have you tune in with us to witness lives changed, because our God is hard at work even during COVID. In this special service, Pastor Scott Taylor will walk us through the baptism of Jesus himself in Matthew 3, and then we'll celebrate and worship together as we witness Resonators being baptized, and declaring their faith in Jesus, all over the Bay!

In light of current events surrounding George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement, Pastor Ryan Kwon was invited into the home of Pastor Léonce Crump from Renovation Church in Atlanta, GA to discuss the events that have led up to this season of protests and unrest, and what are some steps that the Church can take towards racial reconciliation.

While we put our onsite Sunday Services on hold for now, we're happy to have you join us here for this week's Online Service! Watch as Pastor Ryan delivers a timely message about where to find Our Certainty in Uncertain Times, like now.
God’s word is alive and it has the power to revive us and align us and show us who we really are. But most of all it reminds us that we are loved and redeemed in Jesus. Watch as Pastor Ryan encourages us to eat from the bread of life as he preaches on all that the Bible is able to do in our lives.
The four gospels record 173 questions asked by Jesus. But what stand out about them is that Jesus asked questions, not because He needed to know, but because the one being asked did. To put it simply, Jesus asked questions we are too afraid or unaware to ask ourselves, but the answers we get will not only reveal to us but will revolutionize us.

The thing that holds us back from the vision that the Lord has for us as individuals, and as the church, is FEAR. It's GUILT. It's SHAME. But in spite of all these things that hold us back, God is UNSTOPPABLE.
Pastor Eddie Williams from Bay City Church came to visit Resonate and share some Good News from the book of John!
We need light to live. Light brings life, joy, hope, and happiness! And the beginning of Advent Season means that it's time for us to celebrate the Light that has come into this world. In scripture, both John and Jesus Himself refer to Jesus as "the light," and us, His followers, as "the people of light," who are meant to shine His light into this world. Join us as we shed some light on Jesus, and celebrate His Light, His arrival, His names, and His wonder.

Resonate's first sermon preached in Fremont's new building! ⛪️Pastor Ryan preaches on Mark 4, and how powerful Jesus' parable of the gospel being like a seed truly is. It reveals a nature of the gospel that we otherwise would not be able to understand or appreciate.
The bible is POWERFUL, but you can only unleash this power if you actually believe the right things. If you interpret it wrongly, you might receive a doctrine that isn’t true. You’ve heard it said that “seeing is believing.” But spiritually, we must believe the right things in order to see, in order for us to be awakened. For us to truly love the Gospel and Jesus, we must carefully dig in to the scriptures. For the next 8 weeks, we’re going to look at some major tenants of Christianity, and our hope is that you will come to find out what the pillars of Christian belief are.

What if you knew when your last day on Earth was going to happen? What if you knew everything about how it would end? Could you live your life normally, knowing what was coming? Over the next several weeks we'll be following a study through the book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible and the last words of Scripture, given to us by God to prepare ourselves for what's ahead. Are you ready for His Last Words?
