Women of Grace Finale ✨ This Sunday at Grace Life Church, we concluded our “Women of Grace” series with five powerful portraits of grace through the lives of Bathsheba, the Wise Woman of Abel, the woman with the issue of blood, the Samaritan woman, and Mary Magdalene. From brokenness to healing, shame to testimony, and grief to resurrection hope, we were reminded that grace keeps showing up. Family Sunday. Baptism Sunday. A celebration of lives being changed by Jesus. Grace still redeems. Grace still restores. Grace still calls people by name.
May 17, 2026 [Speaker: Pastor John Sitcler] – This week, we are celebrating Baptism Sunday. A time for a number of church members to declare their step of faith publicly. “And we have received God's Spirit (not the world's spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.” (1 Cor 2:12). “Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved.” (Mark 16:16a) “I baptize with water those who repent of their sins and turn to God. But someone is coming soon who is greater than I am… He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” (Mt 3:11 spoken by John the Baptist) Bible app sermon notes: https://www.bible.com/events/49608765
This week we had the absolute joy of baptising five wonderful people in the life of our church.

What does water baptism really mean? Is it just a public declaration of faith, or is there something deeper happening spiritually? In this powerful sermon from Dwelling House Church, Pastor Jeremiah Genin teaches on the biblical meaning of water baptism, surrender, sanctification, and obedience to Jesus. Through Scripture, powerful illustrations, and the story of Israel crossing the Jordan River, Pastor Jeremiah explains how baptism is not a “graduation” in Christianity, but an encounter with God and a declaration that your old life is gone and your new life belongs to Jesus. This message explores what it means for God to be “The Lord Who Sanctifies” and how believers are called to step into obedience, trust, and complete surrender to Christ. This sermon also highlights the importance of worship, gathering together as the church, walking by faith instead of feelings, and trusting God even before the waters part. Whether you're considering baptism, returning to faith, searching for a Spirit-filled church, or wanting a deeper understanding of biblical Christianity, this message will encourage and challenge you. Dwelling House Church is a Spirit-filled, Christ-centered church passionate about the presence of God, biblical truth, worship, discipleship, and helping people encounter Jesus in a real and transformative way. If you're searching for sermons about water baptism, surrender to God, sanctification, Christian obedience, Spirit-filled Christianity, or growing deeper in your relationship with Jesus, this message is for you. This sermon answers: 1.What is the true biblical meaning of water baptism? 2. What does it mean that God is “The Lord Who Sanctifies”? 3. Why does obedience to God often require stepping out in faith before we see the miracle?

What is baptism, and does it actually mean anything? In this episode, Jeff Brodie unpacks one of the most misunderstood moments in the Christian faith. Using three lenses — repentance, allegiance, and identity — Jeff explains why baptism isn't a condition of following Jesus, but evidence of it. If you've ever been curious about baptism or wondered whether it's for you, this conversation is a great place to start.

What if the places in your life that feel the most dead… are the exact places God wants to bring back to life?In this powerful Baptism Sunday message, Pastor Kim Hoyt unpacks the truth that Jesus doesn't just make bad situations better, He brings dead things back to life.Through the story of Lazarus in Gospel of John 11, we see a Savior who steps into grief, calls the impossible by name, and proves that delay is not denial. Even when hope feels gone, Jesus is still working. We also look at a surprising moment in Second Book of Kings 13, where God brings life out of what looked completely lifeless, reminding us that His power is never limited by how far gone something feels. This message builds to a defining moment: baptism is not just a symbol, it's participation. It's not “I'm trying harder”… it's “I was dead, and now I'm alive.” If you've been feeling stuck, distant, or like something in your life has died, this message will remind you that Jesus is still calling your name.He is still bringing life out of death. And He is still raising people to life.

Message from Pastor Tom Hauser on April 26, 2026
Spiritual growth doesn't just happen, it takes intention! Using the picture of a road trip, this message lays out a clear roadmap for growing in your faith. Based on 1 Samuel 2:26, we're challenged to pursue real spiritual maturity through three key areas: personal devotions, Christian community, and everyday experience with Jesus. Miss one, and your growth suffers. But when all three come together, it leads to something deeper: real union with Christ. Whether you're newly baptized or have been following Jesus for years, this message will help you identify what's missing and take your next step forward.
This Sunday is Baptism Sunday. It's one of those days where we get to see the good news, not just hear about it.Stories of new beginnings. Stories of courage. Stories of people trusting that God's love is real…for them. It's as good as it gets!

What an incredible Baptism Sunday we celebrated! Watching 12 people publicly declare their freedom in Christ was a powerful reminder of God's transforming grace. In Ephesians 2:1-10, Paul reveals three enemies we all face: the world, the flesh, and the devil. But here's the beautiful truth—through Christ, we are SET FREE from the enemy's grip, SET APART to live differently than the world, and RESET with new desires by the Holy Spirit. We're not saved BY good works, but FOR good works that God prepared beforehand for us to walk in.If you're wrestling with faith or searching for something more, know that God's grace is available to you. He offers not just forgiveness, but complete transformation—a new life with new purpose. By grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.

Andrew hosts a conversation with Pastors Scott and Eric, celebrating Baptism Sunday and then unpacking Ephesians 2:11–18, explaining that through Jesus' blood Gentiles are brought into God's new covenant, gaining peace with God and full access to Him. They explain how Christ has destroyed the barriers between Jews and Gentiles, calling all Christians to reject division and live as one unified family in Christ.

Hello! We're glad you've joined us for worship today! What a great way to follow up Easter Sunday, than to have baptisms. But what is baptism? Do we have to do it? If so, why should we get baptized? Pastor Bobby answers these questions in today's sermon.
Welcome to Wellspring Church! What does it look like to truly trust God when the path ahead feels uncertain? In this message, David Norris invites us to consider how faith is formed not in moments of clarity, but in seasons where we must rely on God's character rather than our own understanding.Through the story of God's ongoing faithfulness, we are reminded that trust is not passive—it's an active surrender. When we try to control outcomes, we often miss the deeper invitation: to walk closely with God, even when we don't have all the answers. Faith grows as we release our grip and learn to follow his lead, step by step.
