Last Sunday was a wonderful start to our campaign series, FOR the ONE! Pastor Jeff shared why we are doing this campaign and what it truly means to have a “One.” Every believer in Christ has at least one person in their life who doesn't yet know Jesus—whether that's a family member, coworker, friend, or neighbor. As followers of Christ, our desire should be for every nonbeliever to experience a personal relationship with Him. Pastor Jeff challenged us to identify our One and begin praying intentionally for them. This episode, we have another exciting message as we continue our FOR the ONE series— we also celebrate Baptism Sunday! Baptism is a public declaration of one's decision to accept Christ as Lord and Savior and a beautiful step of obedience in faith. Pastor Jeff also shares the powerful story of the Paralytic and how he came to be healed by Christ through the influence of his friends.--For the ONEWebsiteFacebookInstagramSunday SetlistConnect with us!How can we prayer for you? Welcome to Wellspring Church! It's Baptism Sunday—a joyful celebration of new life in Christ! Pastor Billy Waters continues the Deuteronomy series, focusing on what it means to live a consecrated life before God. Drawing from Deuteronomy 14, he explores how God calls His people to be set apart—holy, devoted, and distinct from the world around them.Through a story about discovering a hidden banquet, Pastor Billy illustrates how often we settle for less when God offers us something far greater. Consecration, he said, is not about restriction but about relationship and renewal—turning away from the world's false promises to feast on the riches of God's grace.

Baptism Sunday: Grace Gives You a New Address Romans 6:1–11, Revelation 7:13–14Baptism isn't just symbolic—it's a declaration that grace has changed your address. In this special Baptism Sunday message, Pastor Kevin steps out of the Revelation series to show how the same story of redemption, restoration, and renewal continues in the waters of baptism. Drawing from Romans 6 and Revelation 7, this message reveals what happens when grace moves in—guilt loses its power, shame loses its voice, and you begin living from a new location: the country of grace. You'll be reminded that baptism pictures death and resurrection—burial of the old self and rising to new life in Christ. Grace doesn't just forgive; it relocates you. It gives you a new name, a new identity, and a new home. This message will renew your gratitude for God's grace and invite you to live as someone who has truly moved—from guilt to grace, from striving to rest, from death to life.Broad River Church | Norwalk, CT Join us Sundays: 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM (English) | 12:45 PM (Español) Learn more or take your next step: https://broadriver.church/nextsteps Follow us on Instagram: @iambroadriverchurch

Join us today as we continue our journey of deeper discipleship with Jesus.
Baptism is more than a symbol. It is a declaration of faith, an act of obedience, and a testimony of transformation. In John 15:18–21 and 26–27, Jesus reminds His followers that they no longer belong to the world but to Him. Through baptism, believers identify with a new way of life and community, obey the Lord's command, and publicly proclaim that they have been made new in Christ. In this message, Pastor Kory teaches that baptism represents dying to the old self, being raised to new life, and living as a witness for Jesus. It is both a celebration of salvation and a calling to walk daily in faith, obedience, and joy. Have you experienced the new life that comes from knowing Christ?

The resurrection of Jesus is a major historical problem, no matter how you look at it. If it never happened, then Christians are fools, but if it did happen, it is the most important event in human history and demands a response. The question then is, did the resurrection actually happen? Join us for Baptism Sunday as Pastor Brandon discusses the evidence that Christ is risen.

This week we pause our series in Hebrews to celebrate seven baptisms across two services. We opened God's Word to Acts 2:37-41 to learn about the right response to the person and work of Christ.“Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.” Acts 2:36For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Baptism Sunday is all about saying “yes” to God's invitation and celebrating new life. Acts 8 shows us that God always moves first—pursuing, stirring, and setting things in motion. Our role? Simply respond. Sometimes faith is slow and steady, sometimes it's a bold leap, but baptism is the moment to go public and declare, “I belong to Jesus.” It's not about perfection, it's about taking the next step—and cheering on others who do the same. (Talk by Joshua Ott)
