Is generosity just something we do… or is it who we are? Join us in the discovery that generosity didn't begin with us—it began with God. From creation to the cross, Scripture reveals a God who gives life, purpose, provision, and ultimately His one and only Son. This message traces generosity through Genesis and the entire Bible, showing that giving is woven into our design because we are made in the image of a giving God. It's not just about money, tithes, or offerings—it's about the heart, our identity, and what it means to live fully surrendered as individuals and as the Church. At the center is the greatest act of generosity ever: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…” (John 3:16) This sermon clearly presents the Gospel and the ABC's of Salvation, inviting every listener to respond to Jesus. Whether you're new to faith, returning to church, or ready to go all in, this message will challenge and encourage you as you reflect on the question: Is generosity something I do—or is it who God is shaping me to be? Join Pastors Travis and Amy and the Generations Church family as we press in for breakthrough, healing, guidance, and a greater impact for Jesus in the year ahead.

Three Voices, One Gospel: Why Ordinary Stories Carry Extraordinary Power | Baptism Sunday | November 30th, 2025

What if sharing your faith felt less like a pitch and more like a real conversation? We open with a candid look at why evangelism makes many of us anxious, then introduce a simple framework—Good–God–Gospel—that helps you move from desire to discipline without sounding scripted. It's a posture of listening first, spotting God's character in everyday life, and naturally pointing to Jesus. From there, the service blooms into three baptism testimonies that carry the weight and wonder of grace. Liam speaks to the pressure of playing the “good kid,” hiding questions, and finally hearing that repentance and belief mean your past no longer defines you—Christ does. Bennett reminds us that quiet faith is not small faith, and that courage sometimes looks like going public when your story isn't sensational. Silas shares a raw journey through adoption, confusion, double lives, and the hollow promise of control, before discovering rest in Jesus and learning to choose Him daily. Their voices together show how ordinary honesty becomes extraordinary witness.Scripture anchors the moment. Isaiah 43 turns witness into a sacred identity, not a hobby. John 4's woman at the well models the simplest testimony—come and see. Acts 1:8 assures us that the Spirit supplies power when our words feel weak. Along the way, a funeral story surprises us with hope and reminds us that a single faithful declaration can ripple through a room. We close with practical next steps: use encouragement cards to ground baptisms in prayer, practice Good–God–Gospel in everyday conversations, and treat your life like sworn testimony—truthful about the mess, clear about the mercy. If you want to learn more about the MidTree story or connect with us, go to our website HERE or text us at 812-MID-TREE.

I Am Allowed to be Great Jesus once said that among those born of women, no one was greater than John the Baptist. But what made him so great? It wasn't status, his success, his boldness, his baptizing, or his camel-hair fashion—it was that he faithfully pointed others to Jesus. In this sermon, we explore Luke 7 and what it truly means to live a life that directs people to Christ. Is it possible that there's a deeper level of purpose and power available in your walk with God? Tune in and discover how greatness is defined in the Kingdom.  John 7:18-28 Discussion topics Have you ever been disappointed in God?  John the Baptist knew Jesus personally and still had doubts while in prison. What does this tell us about faith during hard seasons?  Read Luke 7:18-28 - Jesus comforted John by pointing to the evidence of His work—healing, deliverance, good news. What “evidence” do you see of Jesus working in your life or around you right now?  What does Jesus' statement—“among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the Kingdom of God is greater than he”—mean to you?  John's entire life pointed people to Jesus. In what ways can your life and words do the same?  What are some practical ways we can avoid becoming “offended” at Jesus when life doesn't go as expected?  Check out our other audio series and video playlists that can help you find Jesus in every moment and then discover what's next

Join Pastor Dave Mudd for this powerful Baptism Sunday message as he dives deep into the ultimate requirement for following Jesus: Denying the False Self. This compelling message challenges the common interpretation of Matthew 16:24, revealing that "deny yourself" is not merely about giving up comfort or sin, but about identity surrender. Discover how to shift your source of life from your self-made ego to the true, abundant, and authentic self God created you to be. Learn the difference between the protective "false self" and the liberated "true self" so you can finally live the resurrected life Christ intends.Key Takeaways from This Message:- Understand the Prerequisite for Discipleship: Learn why denying yourself is not a spiritual suggestion but an entry requirement for following Christ, as modeled in Jesus' interaction with Peter.- Surrender Your Identity, Not Just Your Sins: Discover that the greatest surrender is letting go of the "false self"—the protective identity and survival strategies you built—to embrace the "true self" hidden in Christ.- Let the Cross Kill the False Story: Realize that the purpose of the cross is execution, not just suffering; it executes the self-made narratives of victimhood, control, and performance, freeing you to live authentically.- Shift from Ego to Christ: Find freedom by shifting the source of your life from your fear-driven, justifying ego to the life of Christ within you, leading to spiritual authority and wholeness.- See Baptism as Resurrection: Understand baptism as the physical symbol of a spiritual reality: the burial of your old, false identity so you can be resurrected into the new, true self God designed you to be.Scripture Reference: Matthew 16:24-26

Last Sunday was a wonderful start to our campaign series, FOR the ONE! Pastor Jeff shared why we are doing this campaign and what it truly means to have a “One.” Every believer in Christ has at least one person in their life who doesn't yet know Jesus—whether that's a family member, coworker, friend, or neighbor. As followers of Christ, our desire should be for every nonbeliever to experience a personal relationship with Him. Pastor Jeff challenged us to identify our One and begin praying intentionally for them. This episode, we have another exciting message as we continue our FOR the ONE series— we also celebrate Baptism Sunday! Baptism is a public declaration of one's decision to accept Christ as Lord and Savior and a beautiful step of obedience in faith. Pastor Jeff also shares the powerful story of the Paralytic and how he came to be healed by Christ through the influence of his friends.--For the ONEWebsiteFacebookInstagramSunday SetlistConnect with us!How can we prayer for you?
