Marriage. Family. Home. God’s Way.
Life. It has its ups and downs, and trouble is going to find you. Sometimes, that trouble comes in the form of big and life changing struggle, but often it comes in day to day annoyances and difficulties. Big or small, trouble can teach us something, change our perspective, and refine us to be more like Christ... even when it's as small as getting your pocket caught on a door handle... (that's just the worst, right???) Join us as we talk about our reactions and seeing God in all things.
Jonah wasn't pleased with God's plan, so he ran, and he ended up in the belly of a whale. Though his anger with God persisted, he finally went to God in prayer, expressed his displeasure, and learned a little bit about the heart of God in the process. Like Jonah, we often find ourselves feeling angry with God. We don't like His method or His plans. We think He's unfair. We ask Why? How long? Why ME? This episode, we discuss God's desire for us to reveal our true hearts to Him (spoiler: He already knows it anyway) and learn a little bit more about Him in the process.
