We get into our Mens Room Question: Either you or someone else, what odd decision was made under the influence?
In this episode Elliott checks in from the heart of mid season in the Central Flyway with a full weather and migration update from Kansas. Warm temperatures and a late push of birds have made this stretch tricky, so he walks through the ten day forecast, talks about why he actually took a rare weekend off from hunting, and explains what he looks for when deciding whether to rest or grind. You will hear about date night at the old school winery, the feeling of being fully rested on a November Saturday, and how that ties back into keeping family and hunting in balance. Elliott also recaps a four day duck camp with Jordan Fromer, Brian Hallblieb, Aiden and Jeremy, complete with hot tent living, steak dinners, and some really solid hunts. He breaks down his current numbers at the midpoint of the season, the exact moment the migration flipped from mixed bags to true mallard season, and why he thinks the new trend of saying birds only show up on the first south wind day is overrated. Along the way he talks marsh etiquette, OnX yardages, Georgie's sore paw, geese landing on spinning wing decoys, and how Thrill of the Fight on the Meta Quest is changing his fitness and mindset. If you love hearing honest talk about weather, birds, camp life, and the little details that make waterfowling special, this one is for you. TideWE — Use code FDH18 at tidewe.com for 18 % off. Even in a passage centered on curses, we see a beautiful thread of hope woven through the consequences of the first sin. Listen in today as we explore the promise of redemption that breaks through humanity's darkest moments.
Right at the midpoint of the franchise, Adam and Jared witness Freddy not only being birthed, but also trying to go back to his darker roots. Its certainly something to behold, but maybe not necessarily for the right reasons. What they have been watching is also covered.
The Schumer Shutdown seems to be over, although a repeat sausage-fest is guaranteed to be on-deck shortly after the can kick. Elections in the cesspool cities still look rigged, but at minimum suggest the 'dumbing down' in some areas may be terminal. And, while some of the facts about the greatest conspiracy to commit treason and destroy the Republic in history continues to emerge, there has yet to be a single arrest, much less prosecution, of the obvious perps. Complacency should be behind us. And, as host Mark Call suggests, if we haven't yet realized the serious nature of 'the times and the seasons,' we had better make a 'mid-course correction.' "The Thrill is Gone"

This episode examines the monumental strategic and technological changes sweeping through the cruise industry, from the urgent quest for net-zero emissions to the redefining of onboard experiences and fleet demographics.Decarbonization at a Crossroads (The Fuel Challenge): The industry is accelerating efforts toward achieving net-zero carbon emissions, focusing on a multi-fuel strategy. LNG remains the most practical choice for new ships in the near term, supplemented by drop-in fuels to meet IMO 2030 and 2040 goals. However, operators face hurdles, including supply constraints for sustainable options like bio-LNG, which requires complex solutions like the book-and-claim model to verify green attributes. Methanol is gaining traction, requiring specialized tank construction, as seen with ships like Disney Adventure. While biofuels offer easy retrofitting for existing fleets, feedstock constraints and sustainability documentation standards limit their scalability. Long-term options like hydrogen face significant challenges due to low energy density and the vast infrastructure investments required. Beyond fuels, digitalization is critical for optimizing energy use and delivering immediate emissions reductions through data analytics. Shipowners remain hesitant to invest heavily in unproven technologies without established supply networks and cost-effective options. The Icon Debut (Legend of the Seas): Royal Caribbean's third Icon-class vessel, Legend of the Seas, is set for a July 2026 debut, initially sailing the Mediterranean before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale for Caribbean routes. The ship will feature world-first entertainment, including the debut of Broadway's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at sea, alongside the renowned AquaTheater and the largest ice arena at sea, Absolute Zero. Culinary innovations include the Hollywoodland Supper Club, inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood, and the Royal Railway's Legend Station, an immersive, story-driven dining experience tracing Marco Polo's Silk Route. Thrill-seekers can try the Category 6 waterpark and the Crowns Edge ropes course, which ziplines 154 feet above the ocean. The ship is currently in the outfitting phase following its August 2023 float-out.P&O's Adults-Only Shift: P&O Cruises is strategically opening its formerly adults-only ships, Arcadia and Aurora, to select family-friendly sailings starting December 2026. This shift addresses the increasing market demand for multi-generational holiday options. This change has generated mixed reactions, with some long-time passengers expressing concern that the children will disrupt the tranquil atmosphere cultivated over nearly 20 years. While families are excited for options on smaller, traditional ships, P&O will only provide family-friendly entertainment, children's menus, and amenities like bottle warmers, not dedicated kids clubs or babysitting services. Passengers booked before the change have the option to switch to another adults-only cruise or receive a full refund if they act by December 1, 2025.

Please help us extend a warm welcome to one of BaT's favorite designers, teachers, sellers, and all-around renaissance men: Raffi Minassian, known in these halls as @raffi. He talks with Alex about his father's "trial by fire" mechanical training program; the roots of his obsession with car design; learning to drive in a 1952 Crosley (with doors!); human- and object-based empathy; a novel way to stay calm in the BaT comments; accidentally becoming a star seller for other people's cars; the odd calmness that 1,200 live BaT auctions can provide; his unorthodox, Pegaso-centric introduction to Art Center College of Design, his future alma mater; his 16 years in die cast design at Franklin Mint; insights into shifts in popular culture; embracing the ridiculous; and the Beetle as a gateway drug. The pair close out talking about Raffi's efforts in nontraditional, hands-on education for young children, his recent foray into TV writing and acting, and his numerous, fascinating upcoming projects.Links for things mentioned in this episode:1:05 Listings and Car Stories Contributed by Raffi 9:18 39k-Mile 1985 Ford Mustang SVO13:47 1-of-52 1967 Ghia 450SS18:58 Car Stories: Raffi's 1953 Pegaso Z-102–The “Thrill” of a Lifetime27:28 Franklin Mint 1970 Datsun 240Z28:35 BaT Limited Edition Hot Rod and BaT Limited Edition 1972 Chevrolet K10 Tow Rig and Trailer Combo31:36 1958 Chris-Craft 26′ Continental Hardtop31:50 Coronado Boats on BaT54:32 It's a Lot TV pilot trailer59:52 1990 Yugo Cabrio 5-SpeedGot suggestions for our next guest from the BaT community or One Year Garage episode? In this episode of Natural Capital, Harry Fisher and Alex Pirie reflect on their time at Scotland's first Nature Friendly Farming Summit. The summit explored how to scale nature-friendly farming to deliver for people, nature and climate and brought together farmers, policymakers, researchers, and environmental leaders to discuss how Scotland can build a resilient, nature-positive farming future. The summit addressed how nature and profitability are not opposites and showed how the path to a thriving, nature-friendly farming future is already taking shape. Harry and Alex explore the main themes from the day, from farmers as stewards of the land, how profitability and biodiversity can go hand in hand and set the scene on biodiversity loss, climate pressures, and the need to de-risk nature-based solutions. The episode also looks at the future of funding, how current and new payment systems can reward environmental outcomes and discusses some of the key messages and announcements made on the day. The Chain Gang returns from Martin's Thrill and they've still got the campfire smoke, hangovers, and emotional damage to prove it. Hoppy Mellow, Checky Swags, and Willy T-Bone survived another cold-ass Martinsville weekend and are here to tell the tale... Checky opens in full rage mode over William Byron's vanilla victory and questionable move on Blaney (“he can kiss my ass”), while Willy confesses to using voodoo money in the race pool and claims he's legally justified under NASCAR Common Law. Hoppy floats a conspiracy theory so spicy it should come with a warning label: that JGR “blew engines on purpose” to swap in fresh motors for Phoenix... and somehow it actually makes sense. From pit stall socialism and carb-shaming King's Hawaiian rolls to Byron vs. Blaney lap traffic politics, this one's got everything: chaos, caffeine, and a whole lot of yelling about points nobody really understands. If you love your NASCAR takes hot, your camping stories questionable, and your playoff math cooked harder than a Martinsville hot dog, this episode is your spiritual home.

What if something as simple as a balloon could change your life? This week I sit down with Mia Hamza from Balloon Thrill, a former teacher from Kosovo who turned her creative spark into a thriving six-figure event décor and education business—all in just a few years after moving to the U.S.Mia shares how she went from teaching English and hosting a TV show overseas to starting from zero in a new country—no money, no car, and no clear direction—and building a business that now empowers others around the world. In this episode:How to start a business with little to no capital (and why small ideas can grow into big ones)Why mindset is the real difference between “just balloons” and a six-figure brandThe value of mentorship and online learning when scaling a creative businessHow Mia transitioned from in-person décor to online education with hundreds of global studentsWhy balloon décor is one of the most flexible, family-friendly, and profitable creative businesses todayAction Steps:Take the first step — If you've been thinking about something for too long, do it within 24 hours.Go all in — Once you commit, give it your full energy instead of starting small out of fear.Learn from others — Find mentors or peers already succeeding in your field and model what works.Connect with Mia:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/balloonthrill/Online Balloon Masterclass: https://www.thrillmakersmasterclass.com/start-1?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAacMwuZyk64vY0BxWsZAZnmBxJgpj3W9Y4KybTHbyqYME6DkGgda_tzEjCAkyA_aem_zXQeTrJ2Ogr6vIQBTCHXyQConnect with me, Hayleigh Hayhurst:Steal my Podcast Launch Checklist for free: https://www.espressopodcastproduction.com/checklistWebsite: https://www.espressopodcastproduction.com/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@EspressoPodcastProductionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/espressopodcastproduction/Music: John Kiernan. www.johnkiernanmusic.comProduced by Espresso Podcast Production: https://www.espressopodcastproduction.com/Join the Conversation: What did you think of this episode? The Mariners won one of the greatest baseball games in recent memory in Game 5 of the ALDS and Salk goes through a bunch of what made the game and experience so amazing. Then, he takes callers to hear what jumped out to them most throughout the Seattle sports weekend.
This week on the Gnar Couch Podshow, we hang with rampage-riding legend CJ Ceilig. Okay, she's not legendary yet, but she will be after this podcast. She somehow makes a terrible sausage party pod team actually worth listening to. She's a Eurotah-bouncing, breakfast sandwich-dodging shredder who's done it all. From bluffing her way through a bike-shop job (“Derailleur? Totally pasta.”) to leading teams at Five Ten and Reverse Components, CJ's story is equal parts hilarious and inspiring. We talk about the chaos of Rampage prep, the magic and madness of Virgin, Utah, and the glamorous side of living in a van, which may or may not include neighbors who poop in buckets. If you're here for serious bike discussion, you're in the wrong place. But if you love grit, humor, and real stories from the freeride desert and beyond, hit play. Richard Biegenwald didn't have a consistent method or a clear motive. He killed out of impulse—sometimes for attention, sometimes for no reason at all. His crimes were scattered, senseless, and terrifyingly casual. From luring teens to shooting strangers, Biegenwald thrived on chaos and unpredictability. With no victim profile and no emotional trigger, he's a textbook example of a hedonistic thrill killer—driven not by anger or revenge, but by the rush of the act itself.
