This week’s podcast starts off with a week 1 recap. It starts with some talk about the cowboys whose offense looked electric in Corvallis and featured some suspect defense. Then the focus shifts to Sunday night in Norman. Kortay and Stuart give their takes on if Jalen Hurts played as good as his stats suggested, and if that OU defense will continue to make plays this season. The recap then shifts to the rest of the BIG 12 and the rest of the nation. Following that Kortay and Stuart begin to talk about the big games this week like Texas vs LSU and A&M vs Clemson. They break down how they see those games going and finish off with their picks and if they think Trevor Lawrence is a distant relative of Lord Farquad.
Football is officially back ladies and gentlemen. The Cowboys and Sooners play their first games this weekend, and Stuart and Kortay open the podcast by breaking down what they are expecting to unfold in Norman and in Corvallis this weekend. With that, they pitch their idea to the NCAA about an anti-CFP, The Toilet Bowl, featuring the worst Power 5 teams in the land. Rutgers vs. Oregon State? Yes, please! They continue with a recap of quite possibly the worst college football game ever played, Miami vs Florida, and what it meant for the Tate Martell hype train. They close their Miami vs Florida talk with their idea for a college football preseason and why they think it’s a necessity. Finally, this week's episode closes with their picks for the OU and OSU games along with the big one, Auburn vs Oregon.
