Everyone likes music. It doesn't matter if your favorite genre is heavy rock metal or classical, music is a multicultural gift from society that has influenced many of us in many different ways. Some of us listen for leisure, or to just workout, and others are able to describe an incredibly complex issue in the matter of a 3-4 minute rap. As for me, I have been listening to Drake since his October Very Own days. Yup, the Drake that is staring at you wearing a heavy coat with fall leaves behind him? That's the Drake I know. Drake is one of the most well-known artist of our decade and has "put a staple in the game" as he would say himself. Drake has many different stages and as he went through each of those, I have went through a lot of stages as well and I can admit that Drake was with me every step of the way. Drake is a hip hop artist and I work in education, but our trials, tribulations, challenges, and achievements are all so relatable. In this episode, we dive into some of the greatest Drake lines that have helped me out with motivation, punctuation, sacrifice, time-management, and many other great factors that got me to where I am today.
