Bruno Felicidade Jones is Senior Vice President at Trace Brand Building, a company specializing in brand strategy, digital marketing, and agile digital transformation to help businesses enhance customer experience and drive sales. Under Bruno's leadership, Trace Brand Building has enabled clients to achieve impressive results through innovative AI-driven marketing systems, and Bruno himself is recognized for over two decades of experience in brand building and digital transformation. An advocate for leveraging AI to accelerate content creation, Bruno frequently shares practical strategies for establishing authority and trust online, optimizing for search engines, and building a strong digital presence. In this episode… If you think a polished LinkedIn profile is enough to build credibility online, think again. In an era where AI tools decide who gets seen and who gets ignored, the real question is: how do you prove your authority and earn trust in a way that both humans and machines recognize? For Bruno Felicidade Jones, a seasoned brand strategist and digital authority expert, the answer lies in mastering E-E-A-T: experience, expertise, authority, and trust. He explains that search engines and large language models are constantly "crawling" your digital footprint, evaluating not just what you say about yourself, but how the broader internet validates it. That means optimized team bios, linked LinkedIn profiles, external reviews, authoritative backlinks, structured service pages, and content that reflects real-world perspective, not generic AI filler. When done right, this layered approach doesn't just improve rankings; it positions your business as the obvious, credible choice in both search results and AI-generated recommendations. Tune in to this episode of the Smart Business Revolution Podcast as John Corcoran interviews Bruno Felicidade Jones, Senior Vice President at Trace Brand Building, to discuss how to drive authority and trust to get more traffic and sales. They explore E-E-A-T fundamentals, optimizing About and service pages, leveraging off-site reviews and backlinks, and using long-tail content to win AI visibility. Bruno also shares advice on turning email newsletters and sales insights into revenue-driving SEO assets.

Here Are The Show Highlights: The deal initially went under contract but fell apart two weeks in when one of the buyers experienced a major health issue. It wasn't a deal problem — it was life happening — and the team had to quickly pivot and reposition the opportunity. (Eric, 02:21) After strong early interest, the property hit a temporary lull once it returned to market, reinforcing Eric's belief that "it only takes one buyer" — and that real estate is often a timing game more than anything else. (Eric, 02:59) The team worked through numerous inquiries and multiple conversations before ultimately securing the right buyer — a reminder that persistence and consistent follow-up win deals. (Eric, 03:02) The buyer initially targeted a 45-day closing timeline, but in a rare twist, reached out during due diligence asking to accelerate and close in just 15 days. (Eric & Max, 03:39) The asset itself required thoughtful positioning, as it included additional acreage along a major four-lane road, creating complexity in how the deal was structured and valued. (Eric, 04:06) From relaunch to closing, patience proved critical. Eric emphasized that no two deals are ever the same, and seeing this one through required steady communication and disciplined execution from start to finish. (Eric, 01:35) Max wrapped up the episode highlighting the firm's experience — over 700 transactions — joking that the team are "magicians" who consistently pull rabbits out of hats when deals get tricky. (Max, 05:28) Power Quotes in This Episode: "No two deals are the exact same." (Eric, 01:35) "One of my favourite sayings is it only takes one buyer…" (Eric, 02:59) "…and it's, a lot of times it's just a matter of timing and time of year that we're in when we were putting the marketing together on this." (Eric, 03:02) "I think, we'll be a, a part of it; It definitely took a little bit of a patience to, to see it from start to finish." (Eric, 05:16) "It only takes one buyer." (Eric, 02:59) "It's like, wait a minute, wait a minute. I, I haven't started drinking yet, so I don't know what I'm hearing?" (Max, 04:00) "We are magicians over here and we have a whole stable of rabbits that we've pulled out of hats." (Max, 05:28)

Episode OverviewIn this episode of The Articulate Fly podcast, host Marvin Cash catches up with master casting instructor Mac Brown for another installment of Casting Angles — a recurring segment dedicated to fly casting education and the business of fly fishing instruction. Recorded just after Mac returned from back-to-back appearances at the Denver and Bellevue stops of the Fly Fishing Show, the conversation covers his experience on the road, a spontaneous three-day steelhead spey fishing trip squeezed between shows and what's ahead on the Fly Fishing Show calendar. Mac and Marvin dig into the practical value of two-handed casting techniques on single-handed rods — particularly for tight Appalachian streams and summertime smallmouth fishing on rivers like the Little Tennessee, Pigeon and Tuckaseegee. Mac makes a compelling case that mastering the roll cast and a module of switch/spey casts (snake roll, snap T, snap C, Z cast, A cast) transforms an angler's ability to present flies on any water, not just big steelhead rivers. The episode wraps with late-winter fishing observations, a teaser about the upcoming Lancaster Fly Fishing Show and a reminder that Mac's guide schools, casting schools and specialty classes are bookable on his website.Key TakeawaysHow to expand your presentation options on tight Appalachian streams by adding spey and switch casts to your single-handed rod repertoire. Why the roll cast is the essential foundation of all two-handed casting, and why building it first unlocks the entire spey/switch toolkit. How to use two-handed delivery moves — snake rolls, snap Ts, Z casts and others — for summertime smallmouth fishing. When to capitalize on late-winter warmup windows by monitoring water temperatures, even when air temps feel comfortable for trout fishing. Why fishing from the tail of a long pool with two-handed casting techniques gives you a longer drift, better positioning and keeps big fish unaware of your presence.Techniques & Gear CoveredMac Brown covers the full spectrum of spey and switch casting moves applicable to single-handed rods, including the roll cast, snake roll, snap T, snap C, Z cast and A cast — what he describes as a "module of eight or nine" setup-and-deliver sequences that, once internalized, become intuitive rather than mechanical. A key theme is translating techniques typically practiced on grass into real fishing scenarios: managing 50–60 feet of shooting line in your fingers, reading pool geometry and making decisions about river-left vs. river-right presentations coming out of winter. Mac also references the two-day and three-day specialty casting schools he runs throughout the season — focused formats on wet fly and dry fly specifically — available through his website under specialty classes. No specific fly patterns or rod brands are mentioned in this episode, keeping the focus squarely on casting mechanics and tactical decision-making.Locations & SpeciesThe episode references several western North Carolina rivers as prime proving grounds for switch and spey techniques on single-handed rods,...

In our 146th episode, the Cru gather for their annual yuletide retreat to Spliff's Christmas Cabin. There, we discuss hygge: the nordic word for coziness, conviviality, and joy.  When a writer attempts to give their piece a vibe---a general impression, a feeling they want the reader to experience---how do they pull it off without it feeling saccharine? The last thing you want is your readers feeling pandered-to. We've got a bagful of tricks for you to try out, including some excellent advice from Spud regarding the use of tropes.Stories begin around the 18:30 mark, and are exceptionally cozy. What to expect for med students moving from classroom to exam room The beginning of clerkships mark a medical student’s progress from theoretical learning to practical application of what they’ve been taught. This past week, our M2s received a 4-day long orientation to clerkships (we call it “transitions week”), and M2s Samantha Gardner and Alexis Baker were joined by M3s Fallon Jung and Zach Case to talk about this important milestone. What are clerkships like? How will students know what to actually do? Who will they be working with? What are residents and attendings looking for when they evaluate a clerkship student? How should they react when a patient says something out-of-pocket? There’s so much to be learned in clerkships…including that they really are prepared to enter the real world, even if they don’t yet feel it! Jason Barnard is the CEO of Kalicube, a digital marketing agency specializing in brand SERP optimization and knowledge panel management to help individuals and companies control how they appear in search and AI-powered results. Often referred to as "The Brand SERP Guy," Jason has helped clients secure and enhance their Google knowledge panels, and Kalicube's methodologies have established the company as a world leader in digital brand intelligence. With a background that includes working with major brands like Disney and Samsung, Jason is passionate about teaching others how to become verified authorities in their niche as search engines and AI evolve. In this episode… It's a strange feeling when you Google your own name and the results don't quite match the person you've built yourself to be. Maybe it points to outdated bios, a random YouTube interview, or — worse yet — someone else entirely. In a world where AI tools rely heavily on what they find online, how do you take control of that digital first impression? According to Jason Barnard, a leading authority on digital brand identity and entity optimization, you start by helping machines understand exactly who you are. He explains that most people assume knowledge panels are reserved for celebrities or people with massive public followings, but he's seen even team members with only a few social profiles earn them. Jason breaks the process down to something almost mechanical: choose your "entity home," structure your facts clearly, create consistency across the web, and let the machines do the rest.  Tune in to this episode of the Smart Business Revolution Podcast as John Corcoran interviews Jason Barnard, CEO of Kalicube, to discuss how to create your Google Knowledge Panel. You'll learn why your "entity home" matters, how to structure facts so AI understands them, and what to update across your online profiles before Google can fully verify you. Jason also shares practical steps for overcoming name collisions and improving how AI presents you online.
