A short episode where Laurel completes her commentary of Chapter 6 of Eliphas Levi's The Doctrines & Rituals of High Magic featuring his words about The Lovers card. 

Laurel talks about Chapter 6 of Doctrine & Ritual: A New Translation with a lot of commentary about Western occult practices in general based on Levi's writings there.  This is a 2-part podcast.  

Laurel continues her commentary on Doctrine and Rituals of High Magic: A New Translation covering Chapter 5 which focuses on the quinary principle.  

Laurel discusses Chapter 4 of the Doctrine & Ritual of High Magick A New Translation by Eliphas Levi.  The focus is the quaternary principle and how it is expressed in concepts like the Tetragrammaton and the classical four elements.  

Laurel talks about Chapter 3 of The Doctrine & Ritual of High Magic, which focuses on the Ternary (Triadic Modality) principle. 

Laurel talks about Chapter 2 of The Doctrine & Ritual of High Magic by Eliphas Levi and his vision for The High Priestess tarot card.

Laurel goes through Chapter One of Éliphas Lévi's Doctrine of High Magic, discussing his views of The Magician as a tarot card and occult practitioner.   

Laurel gives some brief historical information about Éliphas Lévi and his most famous text Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie best known in English as Doctrine & Ritual of High Magic or Transcendental Magic.  This sets the stage for going through this text chapter by chapter with a focus on a related Major Arcana card. 

This episode introduces the most conventional Tree of Life glyph and touches base on each of the ten sefirot by astrology, numerology, and tarot pip cards.  

This week, Laurel talks about the binary/elemental methodology she uses, inspired by Linda Gail Walters, to associate the Court Cards with the MBTI personalities.  She also links each Court Card with a conventional MBTI archetype name and provides some associative traits. 

This episode takes the classic four elements and associates them with the Tetragrammaton and the Qabalistic four worlds.  A helpful diagram of a simple Kircher Tree of Life Glyph depicting the Four Worlds as described in this episode has been added to the Tarot Esoterica webpage. 

Building on Episode Four, this episode integrates Chinese yinyang, Western alchemy, and astrology to describe Fire, Water, Air, and Earth.  Laurel explains how all of this shapes what she associates with the four Minor Arcana suits. 

Explains what trinaries and triadic modality are and how they are expressed in Western alchemy, astrology, and esoteric tarot.  Introduces the Sefer Yetzirah and some Qabalistic concepts.  

The occult philosophies of Yingyang and the Hermetic Law of Polarity are presented with examples in the Major Arcana.
