According to the Smith's Bible Dictionary, Habakkuk means (embrace). This book would be the eighth, in order, of the Minor Prophets. Of the facts of the prophet's life, we have no certain information.One important aspect of the ancient Old Testament order of the Hebrew Bible is that the 12 prophetic works of Hosea through Malachi, sometimes referred to as the Minor Prophets, were designed as a single book called The Twelve. Habakkuk is the eighth book of The Twelve.Habakkuk lived in the final decades of Judah, Israel's southern kingdom. It was a time of injustice and idolatry, and he saw the rising threat of the Babylonian empire on the horizon. Unlike the other Hebrew prophets, Habakkuk doesn't accuse Israel or even speak to the people on Yahweh's behalf. Instead, all of his words are addressed to Yahweh. The book of Habakkuk tells us about Habakkuk's personal struggle to believe that Yahweh is good when there is so much tragedy and evil in the world.Habakkuk sees the darkness of the world as an invitation to have faith in Yahweh's promise to one day set things right. Living with such faith means trusting that Yahweh loves this world and works to one day eliminate all evil forever.1.   Burden = Same as in Nahum 1:1. Did see! = The Hebrew pronunciation places the chief pause on this verb, to emphasize the fact that the giving of the vision was of more importance than what was revealed by it. A second and lesser pause is placed on "burden", leaving "Habakkuk" as being less important. The verse therefore should read, "The burden or doom which he saw, Habakkuk the prophet".2.  LORD = Hebrew. Yahweh cry = cry for help in distress; as in Psa. 18:6, 41; P22:24. Compare Job 19:7. Jerm. 20:8. Showing that the cry is not personal but made in the name of all who suffered from the evil times. cry out = cry with a loud voice, implying the complaint.3.  iniquity = Hebrew. 'aven.  = From an unused root perhaps meaning properly to pant (hence to exert oneself, usually in vain; to come to naught); strictly nothingness; also, trouble, vanity, wickedness; specifically, an idol:  trouble, having special reference to the nature and consequences of evildoing. grievance = oppression, or injustice. Hebrew. 'amal. toil, that is, wearing effort; hence worry, whether of body or mind: Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? = This was, and is, an excellent question. Why does Yahweh allow us to see iniquity and trouble, in ourselves or in others?4.  the law = the Torahslacked = ‘poog' to be sluggish judgment = justice. the wicked = a lawless one: looking forward from the Chaldeans to the future Antichrist. Hebrew. rasha'.  the righteous = the just one (Art. with Hebrew. 'eth). DON'T OVERLOOK THIS!!Eth = the Aleph and Tav of the Hebrew Alphabet.Iniquity…trouble.… plundering and violence…strife…contention.… the law is powerless…justice never goes forth…perverse judgment proceeds = Habakkuk saw trouble and sin everywhere, from personal relationships to the courts of law. This distressed him so much that he cried out to Yahweh and asked Yahweh why He didn't bring judgment and immediately correct things.5.   Behold = Look ye. This is said for emphasis, introducing the change to Yahweh's answer. In this study we will take a look at the miracles that Yahweh performed on the Egyptians, when Israel was held in bondage, during this period in Exodus. We will see that those miracles were against the Egyptian deities or gods that they worshipped. Moses was the prototype of the Christ or Messiah. More importantly, the nation of Israel saw Moses as a prototype and the Bible record illustrates that point. Moses said: ‘And Yahweh said unto me, they have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.' Combined these mean "working water". The sea or other large body of water is the place of storms and heavy surf. Back in verse 20, we read that Pharaoh visits the Nile river to worship his gods. It's fitting that he was fascinated by paradoxes, and his most famous stories are fantasias on themes at the heart of this series: dreams, mirrors, recursion, labyrinths, language and creation. Marina and Chloe explore Borges's fiction with particular focus on two stories: ‘The Circular Ruins' and ‘The Aleph'. They discuss the many contradictions and puzzles in his life and work, and the ways in which he transformed the writing of his contemporaries, successors and distant ancestors. In Part 1 (Aleph & Beth), we consider the blessing of walking in God's ways, the purity the Word produces, and the joy of obedience. We begin Psalm 119—the longest chapter in the Bible, and one of the richest meditations on God's Word ever written. This psalm is an acrostic, with each of its twenty-two sections beginning with a different letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Every verse points to the beauty, sufficiency, and necessity of God's Word. In Part 1, we'll study the first two stanzas—Aleph and Beth—where the psalmist celebrates the blessing of walking in God's ways, the purity God's Word produces, and the joy of obedience. Along the way, we'll draw on insights from Thomas Manton, the Puritan preacher who wrote an extensive exposition on this psalm.  In this study we will take a look at the miracles that Yahweh performed on the Egyptians, when Israel was held in bondage, during this period in Exodus. We will see that those miracles were against the Egyptian deities or gods that they worshipped Moses was the prototype of the Christ or Messiah. More importantly, the nation of Israel saw Moses as a prototype and the Bible record illustrates that point. Moses said: ‘And Yahweh said unto me, they have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.' (Deut. 18:17-18,)In this study I continue in chapter 7:22 I also read from the Book of Jasher Chapter 822  And the magicians - did so = But if all the water in Egypt was turned into blood by Moses, where did the magicians get the water which they changed into blood? She is shown as a frog, a symbol of life and fertility (millions of them are born after the annual inundation of the Nile), or as a woman with a frog's head. Women often wore amulets of her during childbirth. 公安調査庁が３月に立ち入り検査を試みた、オウム真理教元代表の松本智津夫元死刑囚の次男宅、７月、埼玉県越谷市公安調査庁は２２日、オウム真理教の後継団体「Ａｌｅｐｈ」を巡り、教団元代表の松本智津夫元死刑囚、２０１８年に刑執行、の次男が「意思決定に関与して組織運営を主導している」と認定した、と明らかにした。 Japan's Public Security Intelligence Agency said Tuesday it believes that the second son of Chizuo Matsumoto, former leader of the now-defunct Aum Shinrikyo doomsday cult, has taken command of Aleph, the group's mainstream successor organization.

「オウム松本元死刑囚の妻の自宅から数千万円の現金…異例の家宅捜索で発覚　オウム後継団体が“教祖”に次男の動きか？公安当局が警戒」　オウム真理教の教祖・麻原彰晃こと松本智津夫元死刑囚の妻と次男の自宅から、現金数千万円が見つかっていたことが分かりました。埼玉・越谷市内の閑静な住宅街。多額の現金が見つかった部屋に住んでいるのは、オウム真理教の教祖・麻原彰晃こと松本智津夫元死刑囚の妻と次男です。この数千万円にはどんな意味があるのか、そして、家族の拠点への家宅捜索という異例の対応の裏にある公安当局の狙いとは。1984年に活動を開始し、ヨガセミナーなどで若い世代を中心に信者を勧誘したオウム真理教。その後、衆議院選挙に出馬するなど活動を活発化。そして、多くの死傷者を出した「地下鉄サリン事件」や「松本サリン事件」など、日本を震撼（しんかん）させるテロ事件を起こしたのです。松本元死刑囚は一連の事件の首謀者として逮捕。オウム真理教も解散となります。その後、死刑判決を受けた松本元死刑囚は、2018年に刑が執行されました。しかし、現在も「Aleph（アレフ）」や「ひかりの輪」「山田らの集団」など、オウムの後継とされる団体が複数存在。いずれも公安調査庁の監視対象となっています。特にアレフを巡っては、地下鉄サリン事件の被害者側に対し10億円超の支払い命令が確定していますが、この支払いが滞っている状態です。こうした中で今回見つかったのが、松本元死刑囚の妻と次男が住むマンションでの多額の現金。近隣住民は「黒い垂れ幕みたいな感じで中が見えないような。部屋の中を隠しているような感じ。とにかく、見た感じなんか普通じゃないなっていう雰囲気」と話します。関係者によりますと、公安庁が立ち入り検査を試みますが妻側が拒否。公安庁からの告発を受け、埼玉県警が家宅捜索を実施したところ、現金数千万円が見つかったのです。次男は松本元死刑囚が後継者の1人に指名したとされていて、後継団体のアレフは次男を教祖に据えようとする動きを見せています。

I read from the Legends of the Old Testament, Moses before Pharaoh, I also read from THOMAS HORNS BOOK “THE GODS” Beginning with verse 14 to Chapter 10 verse 29 we have Moses and Aaron with the first nine plagues.7:14-25 First Plague   ‘Water Turned to Blood'    There is no warning!14  Pharaoh's heart is hardened = כבד  ‘cabed', is become heavy or stupid; he receives no conviction, in spite of the clearness of the light which shines upon him. 15    Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning =The next morning, a time in which the mind is most composed and calm, and fit to attend to what may be suggested lo, he goeth out unto the water = the river Nile, either to take his morning's walk, and to refresh himself at the waterside, as the Jerusalem Targum; and thou shall stand by the river's brink against he come = over against the brink of the river Nile, in order to meet him: and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand = as a terror to Pharaoh,16  let = “eth” Aleph = (ox) strength, strong, power, leaderTav = (cross) sign, covenant seal, mark and crossBy placing the “eth” in front of ‘my people' this locks in the fact that it is truly Yahweh/Yahshua Messiah's Elect! There is no mistake that He wants to deliver His people out of bondage! 17   know that I am Yahweh = Pharaoh had boldly and wantonly said at his first interview with Moses, “I know not this Yahweh', verse 2. He is now told that he shall soon know the Yahweh of the Hebrews.I will smite = The may be Moses, but Aaron preformed the act at the command of Moses.and they shall be turned to blood = and if this river was their god, it would abundantly appear that the Elohim of the Hebrews was Yahweh, and above all gods, and particularly above theirs. 18   And the fish that is in the river shall die = Their element being changed, and they not able to live in any other but water. and the river shall stink = with the blood, into which it should be solid, and with the putrefied bodies of fishes floating in it: 21  And the fish that was in the river died = Which was a full proof that the conversion of it into blood was real; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt = in the river, wherever it flowed, in all its streams and channels,This is the first plague executed on the Egyptians, and a very righteous one by the law of retaliation for shedding the blood of innocent babes, through casting them into this river; and this will be the second and third vials of Elohim's wrath, which will be poured on antichrist, or mystical Egypt, who will have blood given to drink because worthy, see Rev. 16:3. Have any questions? Rebecca Schisler joins Something For Everybody this week. Rebecca is a meditation teacher, artist, and Jewish educator. A devoted contemplative practitioner, she is a full-time core faculty member at the Institute for Jewish Spirituality, where she directs young adult programming and founded the Shevet Jewish Mindfulness Community. In addition, she currently teaches mindfulness at Stanford School of Medicine and with Or HaLev as well as a rabbinical student at ALEPH.  In this conversation, Rebecca and I explore the profound themes of mindfulness, suffering, and the intersection of personal and collective experiences, particularly in the context of Jewish tradition and current events. The pasuk in this week's parsha states: " ויקרא אל משה וידבר ה' אליו מאהל מועד לאמר " - Hashem called to Moshe, and then Moshe entered to speak with Him. At the end of Parashat Pekudei, it says that Moshe was unable to enter the Ohel Mo'ed because the cloud of Hashem had descended upon it. However, in Parashat Mishpatim, it states that Moshe entered the cloud of Hashem at Har Sinai, which seems to indicate that he was able to enter. The Ohr HaChaim explains that in that instance, it first says " ויקרא אל משה " , meaning Hashem called Moshe in first. A person cannot simply enter a place where the Shechina resides. However, if Hashem calls the person in, then it becomes possible. That is why Parashat Vayikra begins with Hashem calling Moshe to enter the Ohel Mo'ed. What did Moshe do to merit this calling? The Shevet Mussar explains that Moshe did not contribute any donations toward the Mishkan, even though he was in charge of its construction. Specifically because he did not contribute, Moshe was chosen for this role—so that no one could ever claim personal credit for building Hashem's house. The Midrash states that the phrase " כאשר צוה ה' את משה " appears 18 times regarding the Mishkan. It gives a parable of a king who commanded his servant to build him a palace. On each part that the servant built, he wrote the name of the king—on the walls, on the pillars, on every detail of the palace. When the king entered and saw his name everywhere, he said: "My servant has honored me so much, and yet I am inside while he remains outside." Immediately, the king called his servant to enter the palace. Similarly, when Hashem instructed Moshe to construct the Mishkan, Moshe "wrote" on everything " כאשר צוה ה' את משה " . Hashem saw that Moshe had given Him all the honor, while he himself remained outside. In response, Hashem called Moshe inside. The phrase " כאשר צוה ה' את משה " reflects Moshe's complete self-nullification. He did not take any credit for his role; rather, he attributed everything to Hashem. Even though Moshe did not physically build the Mishkan, he stood by the workers, reminding them that their strength and talent came from Hashem. He even reminded Betzalel, despite his wisdom, not to lose focus and to recognize that all his abilities were granted by Hashem. The one who did not physically labor was the one invited in—because he gave Hashem the most honor. Humility, in which a person attributes everything to Hashem, brings Hashem honor. In turn, Hashem honors that person. The letter Aleph in Vayikra is small. The Gemara explains that in Moshe's humility, he wanted it to appear as Vayikar (without the Aleph ), implying that Hashem " ויקר -happened" to appear to him, rather than explicitly calling him. He wrote the Aleph small so it would not seem as though he was exceptionally deserving. In the end, Hashem used the extra ink from the small Aleph to make Moshe's face shine. Moshe's name is absent from the Haggadah because Yetziat Mitzrayim was meant to teach for all generations that Hashem alone controls the world. One of the reasons Moshe was chosen as the leader was because he was willing to remove himself from the story and give all credit to Hashem. His humility allowed him to gain immeasurably. Each day, we have the opportunity to serve Hashem in this way. The more we attribute everything we have and do to HaKadosh Baruch Hu , the more He rests His presence upon us. If we internalize that all success comes solely from Him, we truly honor Hashem—and in that merit, may He call us closer to Him. We all desire closeness with Hashem. The path to achieving it is through humility—by recognizing that everything we have and everything we accomplish is entirely from Him. Shabbat Shalom.
