Tell That One Story

Liz visits her family roots on a farm in the south and gets roped into a four-wheeling adventure to find some missing cows. After a harrowing near-death experience (and a few wrong turns) she finally finds them in the most unexpected place. Can she get the heard of cattle back to the ranch or will they stubbornly hold their ground?  

Jeremy's mom is out of town for the summer and with her, his discipline and oral hygiene. Ironically, the local grocery store begins promoting a contest to win a toothpaste-sponsored tricycle (the Crest "Flourider") the very same summer. Each entry must include how often one brushes their teeth. Will Jeremy change his habits in time to win the competition? Or will he be stuck all summer without wheels watching his sisters pass him on the street in their 10-speed bikes? 

Liz has just moved in with her overly responsible older sister and is infatuated with scented candles. But when she wakes up at 2:00am in the morning choking on smoke and can't remember if she blew hers out the night before, she finds herself face-to-face with two maintenance men looking for answers and inspecting her room bit-by-bit. What secrets has Liz been hiding her closet? Can she cover up her negligence in time or will she find herself exposed and looking like a fool?

Young Jeremy spends a sunny Saturday morning picking out some beautiful fiery-colored carnations for his dad to plant all over his front yard. But when Monday rolls around the hundreds of newly planted  blossoms are in danger of becoming kindling. Will Jeremy's new babysitter save the day or will he be left to handle this situation on his own? And what will become of the rows upon rows of flowers?

While on another international adventure (this time with her sister), Liz decides to travel by train from England to see another famous monument only to realize that her greatest foil is there to haunt her. Will her inability to tell time ruin her chances at another awe-inspiring monument? Or can she brave the unknown, navigate the seedy underbelly of Europe and claw her way to safe lodging before nightfall? 

After the disastrous events in "The Heat Wave", the details of what Jeremy has done to Violet travel across his neighborhood and lead to a formal retaliation led by two uncivilized sisters from down the street. Can Jeremy survive the nasty grade-school revenge coming his way? Or will he make another ill-conceived snap decision and send another poor child fleeing in agony?

While living in China, Liz decides to go on an adventure to see one of the world's most majestic monuments. Except this is early twenty-year-old Liz and not the accomplished world-traveler she is today. Will young Liz be able to read international (aka Military) time? Will she survive the harrowing streets of Beijing on nothing but a flimsy motorbike?  Will she be able to seamlessly fit into a foreign culture? Or will a slew of poor choices lead to her demise? Find out what happens when she learns a host of life lessons riding the rails of China on her journey to see one of the seven wonders of the world. 

Jeremy shares another memory from his Summer of Invincibility where it's a sweltering 90 degrees and somehow his sisters have convinced the most popular girl in the neighborhood to invite them over to her exclusive slumber party. Will Jeremy be able to play it cool in front of her or will his sister's chances of joining the popular crowd evaporate before their very eyes? 

Liz lands a dream job and finds herself setting things up for San Diego Comic Con but gets herself in another precarious situation after only being there a week. Will her new boss help her out when she catches her red handed trying to sneak away from the project? Or will she be let go before it's too late?  

Jeremy shares one of his oldest stories from when he was six years old. Excited to show off in front of his friends while their older siblings play baseball, he agrees to the most daring of childhood feats in order to impress the crowd and prove that he's faster and better than Robber. What can go wrong? He's wearing his special underwear - the pair that makes him invincible! Can he reach the heights of elementary exaltation or will he fall as a downed disgrace?  Can his invincible underwear get him out of this one?  

Liz starts a new job and hopes to make a big splash at the company-wide Thanksgiving Breakfast. Except she's never made breakfast for dozens of people before in a corporate office and makes a terrible mistake and before she knows it, she's face to face with a truck load of steamy firefighters asking her what's going on. Can she talk her way out of this one? Will the company's first hire in two years last past the 8 week mark? 

Nancy gets accepted into the retirement country club community of her choice and Jeremy, her dutiful son, has eight weeks to get her six-bedroom house ready for sale so she can live happily ever after. The only problem is that after 50 years in the same house, Nancy has accumulated enough stuff to fit into king tuts tomb five times over. It's going to take more than rainbows and lollipops to make mom's dream a reality. Can he do it? Will Nancy get to spend the rest of her life in retirement bliss? Or will 50 years of fallout tear the two apart forever? 

Liz volunteers as part of her college improv class to be a headless cadaver in a haunted house, only to learn that she's not cut out for it … and that one of the college boys would like to get to know her better. Young college love in a haunted house? What could go wrong? 

Jeremy gets an alarming call at 7am and learns that his mom has crashed her car into a lush river waterfall in the middle of a dry desert five hours away. What was she doing driving to the middle of nowhere at 2am in the morning? And how did she manage to find herself in a lush jungle oasis in the middle of a barren wasteland?  

It's Easter Sunday and Liz's parents haven't met her secret boyfriend yet. Only Liz has an awkward  accident, sending her to the emergency room. Will Liz be able to keep it together enough to introduce mom and dad to the new beau or will she loose it all in a flood of regret? Recorded over the holidays in December of 2020.
