I am a big, longtime fan of Stine. She began with a daily webcomic that I loved to read every day. Now she has published several books, comics, journaled diaries and even a crochet book. She also has a daily comic strip in a big Danish newspaper. We talk about imposter syndrome, climbing the mountain of hard work, and riding the rush wave from doing all the things you just told yourself you could not do.

In this episode I am lucky enough to interview Gemma Roberts from the instagram account @gemma_and_isla about her creative journey from childhood to now. Gemma loves sewing, knitting and crocheting, and we talk about mobile crafts, the crazy yarn from her very first scarf, the blanket full of memories, and what growing up in a creative household means.

Instagram is a hard nut to chew, and this year I am trying to be all about doing the things that feel fun and joyful on Instagram - and not what I think I should do. Let´s see if it works, but hopefully at least it won´t give Instagram burnout.

I am sure my boss from my full-time job sometimes think I never do any real work, because how can I still run my creative business on the side? But I can, and I do because I do my best to prioritise, be effecient and not procrastinate too much. Sounds hard? Listen to this episode and see what you think.

For this episode I talked to my husband Alan about how he deals with the challenges of living with a serial crafter and a house full of fabric scraps. I changed the microphones for this – and it sounds waaaaayyy better.
