A podcast started to share my transformation of losing 100lbs and changing my life forever. Listen to my story as well as others as we share the obstacles we all face and the reasons why we were able to overcome them **While the podcast will not purposely
Its been a little bit longer since my last episode but in this new installment, I go over why. What's been going on in my life? Recently dealing with anxiety, with pain, with frustration. I go into further about how amazing my girlfriend has been for me to lean on and look up to as we handle life differently. In this case, a lot better than me. It's also my last episode from my home in Delaware. In just a few short days, I make my drive to Texas. To start a new chapter in my life with the one I love. If anyone else goes through events like this, or handles things the way I do or rather struggle to... maybe it can help. It was good to turn on the microphone again. Thanks again for listening!
Whats up everybody! In this solo episode I give you some more updates on life and how things are going. I touch big on my recovery with my back and an update on where I am in my challenge. Also, I reveal some big life changing news that I am very excited about. Hope you enjoy!
In this episode, I sit down with a good friend Brian Comegys. Brian is a husband and father and all around great person. We talk about a variety of topics that range from gym intimidation, bullying as a child, and finding motivation through audio books and much much more. Hope you enjoy an all around fun conversation!- PS, I apologize in advance for any audio quality issues. This was my first in person episode and still learning the engineering aspect. I only hope the quality is good enough to enjoy!
What's up everyone! In this episode, things are looking up! My back is starting to feel better and I seem to be close to getting back to my normal self and its paying dividends. Check in for an update on that as well as an update on how I've been able to tackle my fitness challenge. Had some fun with some sound clips - I do not own the rights to these (if this is needed), just adding some fun to the program. Enjoy!!
In this episode, I talk about where my mindset has been in the last couple weeks. Coming off of an amazing vacation where I expected to be refreshed and renewed, came to a screeching halt and life became more overwhelming than before. My nutrition had fallen, my confidence and motivation for this podcast had taken a hit. Having it not be going the way I had hoped and being in the midst of struggling for quality, guests, content, etc... I also mention about my back, my 2nd spine injection, and my mindset and goals moving forward,
In this episode, just a couple days back from a week away in Key West, I go into my vacation a little and talk about what being away did for me mentally as well as the things I can take away from it and use in the future when I need that mental breather or restart. A little in depth in to what the near future holds for me fitness wise as well. A rather quick episode, I hope you enjoy!
In this episode, I continue from last episode giving an update on my recovery since my spinal injection to help with my herniated disc. I speak to rehab as well as an unplanned level of help from a gym in Nashville after I DM'd them regarding a post sent to my inbox by a friend. I also wrap up the episode with a recap of July's book of the month. Take a listen and enjoy!
In this solo episode, I dive in a little deeper into my injury and go through the timeline of when it started to affect me and the actions I have taken since to become 100% again. This ranges from rest, PT, chiropractor, and ultimately led me to a spine orthopedic. I go through where I am at currently, what I expect and hope for in the coming weeks... and that I hope this is only a 1 part series haha. Enjoy!
In this episode, I'm joined by my good friend Justin Kamb. Justin is the social media manager for Jym Supplement Science, and along with Scott, introduced me to Jim Stoppani and his workouts, nutrition, etc... Justin speaks to many things that include topics such as having an abusive childhood to becoming comfortable in a relationship. How his love for WWE and video games were an outlet of escape through his childhood and continue to be a large part of his life today. We also go through different ways we view nutrition and our relationships with food. Hope you enjoy!
In this episode I come back with a solo episode and talk a little raw and from the heart about where I have been the past few weeks. Instagram always shows us things are great and wonderful, but it isn't always that way. These last few weeks have been tough, but I explain how support has been key in keeping my head above water. I also mention a book recommendation and starting my new goal of reading one book a month for the rest of the year. This episode had no real direction or planning, just shot straight from the hip. I hope it helps someone listening who may be in a similar mindset.
In this episode, I sit down with my friend Mark Falcone. Mark is the owner of ICore Fitness in West Chester, PA. Mark and I talk about his upbringing and how he became to be such a go getter type person, the struggles with not only starting a gym but running it as well, and working through the down times of life (such as losing a loved one, quarantine, etc...) It was a very fun conversation and hope you all enjoy as well.
In this episode, I sit down with my great friend Blair Jost. Blair gives a new perspective from my previous guests as she comes from a background of being a bartender as well as a personal trainer, crossfit coach, and entrepreneur. We talk about a lot of topics including the difficulty in finding time for yourself, relationships, childhood, and the differences and aspects of being a woman in general as well as the fitness industry. Please enjoy this latest episode, and small warning, a couple of expletives towards the back end of the episode (in the event you have kids around).
In this episode my first 2 guests, Scott and Kicker, join me for a little round table to discuss how the quarantine has affected our lives. Our topics range from general life, work, working out, nutrition, dealing with injuries, but also some self awareness and reflection. Enjoy!
In this episode, I've brought along another one of my best friends Scott Polleck to talk about a topic that he had brought up to me, which is emotional intelligence. A topic that I had little knowledge about but with Scott's education having received Masters degrees in special education and administrative leadership, he was a great person to explain and expand on how that can affect one's life in various ways, including my own. We talk about the ideas of self awareness, handling and interpreting emotions (whether our own or someone elses), and how you can see maturity and growth in someone even from afar.
In this episode, I sit down with one of my best friends Kicker Price. Kicker, like myself, has made a great physical transformation but he has done from a different angle and different head space than myself. We talk through some of the ways he was able to get to a manageable weight and also some of the obstacles he endured not only getting there, but staying there.
In this first of many quarantine episodes, I made a list of 10 things that have helped me all throughout my last 4 years of focusing on my health and weight. Hopefully one of these points will help you in where you are. A couple topics are revisited again but hopefully shed even more light on how much it helped me and could hopefully help you.
In this episode, I talk through a lot of the fears that have plagued me growing up and some that still even lurk around to this day. These fears stretch across social acceptance to simple gymtimidation.
In episode 2, I dive a little deeper into some of the topics I touched base on in the first episode. Hoping to bring some depth and shed some more light to some of the struggles I faced and tactics I used to overcome them.
In this episode, we talk about the reason why I started this podcast. To share my story, my transformation, and the obstacles I had to overcome to achieve my weight loss of 100 lbs. We will discuss different topics that helped aid my journey such as nutrition, supplements, workouts, and support. Hope you enjoy!
