During the last weeks of Pure Rock KNAC-FM's existence, the on-air staff was forbidden to mention the ultimate fate of Southern California's heavy metal flagship, KNAC-FM.  This air check from the "Thrasher in the Morning" program hinted strongly - without saying so directly - just what the audience was in for in the coming days.
