Changes are coming to the College Football Playoff as the conference commissioners are set to vote for straight seeding. The top four seeds in the committee rankings would be the 1-4 seeds in the playoff bracket, regardless of conference championships. The concession is that the highest four conference champs, while potentially seeded outside the top four, would still receive the $8,000,000 payout.
