All Rise! It's time we discuss the transitional phases of life, life according to Paul is geared in three phases. Confronting the past while accepting things for what they were and learning from the experience. Leaning into the concept that every lesson learned truly is a lesson earned. Paul, a great man of God is regarded with so much grace in modern day because of his status. This is seen routinely amongst the modern era because fandom and idolatry has us treating celebrities with the same grace depending on our individual interest in them. The public court of opinion matters none in the grand scheme of things and we are to be aware of that because desiring approval has driven many to ruin. Paul's story through a cursory glance depicts a horrific past and how he was received by others but that past wasn't a roadblock but rather benchmark to be remembered and studied. It's important to be honest with your self about yourself, it's truly the master key to evolving. Hopefully my transparency helps to drive the point home.
Happy Birthday to my brother.. Sleep In Peace
Friends! How many of us have them, friends? Ones you can depend on, friends! Episode 24 will be graced with the wisdom and insight of two individuals who I have known for more than two decades. These gentlemen have experienced and overcame all life has thrown at them. Travis Corley, who is a fellow podcaster (Gaining Control Podcast), is also an ex. college professor with a master's degree in nonprofit organization. With dreams to inspire the world through motivational speeches, he has set out to speak with several urban youth groups in his hometown of Miami as well as Oklahoma City. It's truly an honor to have his voice on this episode. The other guest speaker is none other than the neighborhood spiderman, D'andre Sherill. De'andre, or should I say Dreday, is an entrepreneur. This two-time national champion strove to leave a legacy so he created the brand "I Can I Will". Its meaning: “no matter what life's struggles and obstacles have thrown at me, I can and will overcome them if I just Believe.” “ICIW began as I was diligently working to obtain a scholarship at North Carolina A&T State University which was then taken from me without a justifiable cause.” He empowers his clients to not only believe in themselves but to live life with the ICIW mindset. It is said you are the sum of your friends. I didn't agree with that statement until I came to the realization that resilience is embedded in our DNA. Our brotherhood was forged by the desire to prevail over the obstacles and hardships that were out of our control. Join in as we walk down memory lane describing events that helped shape the men we are today and what we are currently deciding on today that will affect our tomorrow.

Who'd ever think that one would have to wonder if they support themselves but truth of the matter is most of us struggle in this department. Struggle to believe in ourselves. Consistently giving ourselves excuses instead of expectations. Self sabotaging and denying ourselves luxurious accommodations and amazing accomplishments just because we can not relinquish habits that have corrupted and damaged our trajectory. The sky is the limit but you have to believe you can fly! I comes before U in the alphabet and adolescents learn that, let's create self loyalty. Whose team are you on?
Last episode we discussed how men suffer in silence and how idols and ideals play such a catastrophic role in the constant struggle. This episode we venture out into no man's land(literally) because as a male the narrator admits to not being a subject matter expert but to decided to research and brought an interesting perspective to the table. Enlisting statistics supporting how many women are currently prescribed some type of medication for depression, anxiety, ADHD and mental health disorder and 1 out of every 3 have or consulted with the idea of cosmetic surgery. Modern day women are stated to be unhappy even with all of the freedoms and etc and it shouldn't be this way. Come have a listen today and see what we can decide on about tomorrow!
On the episode Color Me Grande, we discussed how we see ourselves. We've tackled how we must heighten the scope in order to create drive. These ideals focus on how you, see you. Although challenging, I believe it is imperative that we become introspective. Now it's time to get surgical. On episode 19, we are going to address legacy in a sense. How do you want to be perceived? Even better, how would you like your story to be told? Currently, you're welding the pen to compose your memoir. As the author, what do you think of your story thus far? If it came to an abrupt end, would the story encourage or disappoint? I challenge you to leave a legacy. A name that leaves an impact on those you encounter even after you're no longer around to edit the files. My Uncle Cranfort Wilson did this for me. I am because He was! He wrote an insightful memoir with his actions as will I. -Today We Decide About Tomorrow
What is it worth? No achievement comes without sacrifice so with that in mind ask your self how important is this objective. Based on that you can determine what you're willing to sacrifice. Something has to die off in order for this objective to live. Be honest with yourself, nothing can be done with lies except delays. It's a new year and a new day, what are you deciding on? What is it worth......

How well do you know yourself? Where are you currently on this journey? Can you make it? You have to know yourself and be honest with your self in order to carefully assess your situation. This episode will serve as a review for everyone who has been following the Pod for a while now! What are we deciding on today that we will want to see the fruit of tomorrow...
Perception is important, we have to be honest with ourselves and look at life or what it is while at the same time the students of ourselves. I've learned that sometimes I view life from a pessimistic standpoint And it's move me to respond in a negative way so now here I am educating you to view life differently. You're in charge of your own destiny so grab the wheel and direct it as such. Remember many men have died as somebody they were not in search of who they were supposed to become. Remember I could always be worse but even better it could always be better. Today we decide about tomorrow
The mind is a dangerous neighborhood if used poorly, in this study we find that the rats proved to scientists that the brain creates habits out of the desire to save effort and so we as human being highly intelligent must harness this discovery and counter bad habits but seeing how the process works. Knowing is half the battle I was say.....

Commitment & Interest are two things that are often never really observed and also misunderstood in terms of it's impact. Often times the two are different but they also intertwine and break off at the point of defined discovery. We must learn to delineate, separate in order to operate effectively in each one. Today we decide about tomorrow!
