Church with a Non-Believing Masculine Man is quite fun. My guest Parker is NOT in my opinion a toxic man. Trigger warning! (and language curse words...) Parker introduces himself. He opens our church service with a poem as a prayer which was different. Then Parker shares his thoughts on the view of men and women from Genesis and also 1 Corinthians. I also have Parker share his thoughts on Jesus' challenging words in our new section, The Altar Call part of our church with a non-believer. Parker is unashamed of his views. He knows its a hard topic, but he shares how men need to be men and so much more of that in todays society. He shares his controversial thoughts about how men , masculinity, feminism and so much are looked at these days. What the hell?Yah, that's right, the Devil is a guest on my show and offering his views on Advent. What the hell is advent? Advent means the coming or appearing of something, in this case it is the appearing or revealing of Jesus who came into the world, which is celebrated about in Christmas. Some Christians do a religious ritual called Advent involving the lighting of candles, reading of Bible passages alluding to the coming Messiah. All of this is typically done the 4 Sundays preceding Christmas day in a church service. Christian families also do readings, prayers and sing hymns leading up to Christmas. For this Upside Down Church Service we have Dan presiding. Dan is interesting case, he is/was a former Jehovah's witness who does not really attend church or do much religious practice but still has a belief in God. Dan I think, is like many people I run into, In-Between. In-Between belief and unbelief. Dan seems to have a faith but it is not connected to or practiced in a 'church'.
