Britney Spears checked into rehab… and yes, that's the headline. But for anyone who's been paying attention, it's clear there's a lot more going on beneath the surface. Chalene Johnson takes a deeper look at everything surrounding it… the DUI, the conservatorship, her recent behavior, the people in her orbit, and the bigger names and systems that keep showing up in the background. And the deeper you go, the harder it becomes to ignore the patterns. What's actually known is separated from what's speculation, along with why some of these connections feel too consistent to dismiss. From Britney's history of control and finances to the larger conversation around power, money, and influence, this one gets uncomfortable. Chalene Gets Into: • What likely led up to Britney checking into treatment • Why rehab right now may not be as random as it seems • The real impact of the conservatorship and who benefited • The financial relationships that continue to raise questions • Why people are suddenly connecting Britney to bigger headlines • The patterns showing up around power, control, and influence in Hollywood • Why it's getting harder to separate truth from narrative This isn't about tearing anyone down. There's real empathy for Britney and what she's been through. But once you start connecting some of these dots… it's hard to ignore.

There are two meetings today to move forward on the Royals building a new stadium at Crown Center and we are getting a lot more details of what that district will look like by 2030. The Parks and Rec board will vote to give the city manager authority to negotiate a lease with the team while the City Council meets to set up a schedule to move forward to approval of $600 million. It's feeling like go time! Kansas governor Laura (Karen) Kelly used her veto 25 times this legislative session but the good news is a whole bunch of them were overridden by a supermajority. Good news... the protests at public schools are about to go away as we've known them. Eric Swalwell's fall from grace has been years in the making, but, holy smokes is this getting ugly. There's video everywhere... so much so it's like watching Hunter Biden all over again. After Trump blocked the shipping ports in Iran, ships all over the world are headed to the Gulf of America. It's incredible. At least 125 empty ships are headed here to fill up 2 million barrels ON EACH SHIP. Yes, that's $200 million worth of oil we are selling to 120 more ships. When I saw the photo of the charred and pretty much destroyed Orion capsule our astronauts returned home in, I only asked one question. You may be asking the same thing. Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice posts the most hilarious post in Chiefs history as he suggests he will be looking for a new contract that pays him like he's the number one receiver in the NFL. This dude has issues. FIFA is working another bait and switch on tickets and Arrowhead and nobody can do anything about it. Governor Kehoe is sending the National Guard and State Troopers to KC for the World Cup and I missed quite a chance to buy a piece of expensive memorabilia for a song a decade ago.

From the very first step to the final signature, this episode uncovers the hidden risks and smart strategies that can protect you from costly regret. What if the “perfect deal” is actually a trap? John breaks down why rushing into a purchase—especially when you need a car—can cost thousands, and how simple strategies like renting temporarily can give you the upper hand. He walks through how to define your true vehicle needs, avoid emotional buying decisions, and navigate a market flooded with options. But the real eye-opener? The dangers lurking behind used car transactions. From shady dealers and non-refundable deposits to highly sophisticated online scams—even fooling seasoned buyers—this episode reveals why seeing and verifying a car in person is more critical than ever. You'll also learn how to evaluate dealers, leverage competing offers, and why a pre-purchase inspection might be the single most valuable investment you make. Plus, John tackles common upsells like service contracts and gap insurance—are they protection… or profit centers? If you've ever wondered how to buy a used car with confidence—and avoid the mistakes that cost others thousands—this episode delivers the roadmap.

Recovery from knee surgery goes sideways when a trusted friend secretly brings a new kitten into a home with medically fragile cats, triggering panic, confrontation, and an awkward rush to fix the damage. Another letter dives into a family crisis involving an ongoing celebrity scam where logic, proof, and loved ones can't break through denial. There's also a brutal financial nightmare after a bank account is hacked, leaving someone locked out of their own money and stuck paying for a crime they didn't commit. Boundaries, trust, control, and hard decisions collide in brutal, messy situations where there are no easy fixes—just fallout.
We kick off with a the Dodgers spanking the Blue Jays and torn allegiances in Brian's house, then dive into Europe taking dead aim at your kids' screen time. Ireland is rolling out a Government Digital Wallet that'll verify ages before young'uns can doom-scroll their lives away, while Greece went fully scorched-earth and announced a ban on all under-15s using social media at all — announced, naturally, on TikTok.IN THE NEWS, the AI giants (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) are playing nicely together for once, teaming up through the Frontier Model Forum to stop Chinese firms from essentially photocopying their models on the cheap — billions in revenue, national security, and the small matter of safety guardrails stripped out. Turnabout is fair play? On the legal gambling front, prediction markets scored a federal win as a US appeals court ruled New Jersey can't regulate Kalshi; the Trump family's fingerprints are all over the prediction market space (surprise!), and the data suggests 0.04% of accounts are hoovering up 70% of profits like it's a perfectly healthy ecosystem. Also: the FBI pulled deleted Signal messages out of iPhone notification caches, GoPro is laying off 23% of its workforce while somehow remaining optimistic, and OpenAI is backing an Illinois bill that would shield AI companies from liability even in mass-casualty scenarios... cool. On the plus side, Artemis II astronauts took amazing photos of the Moon... on their iPhones. In APPS & DOODADS: Mercedes recalled its electric G-Wagons because the wheels might literally fall off, Amazon is sunsetting Kindles from 2012 and earlier for no reason anyone can figure out, and Apple Fitness on Apple TV is randomly scrambling workout stacks with no fix in sight — a premium locked ecosystem doing premium locked ecosystem things. In MEDIA CANDY, the crew is watching The Pitt, The Boys, Shrinking, and Daredevil, and you'll want to sit down for this: Mel Brooks and Rick Moranis are back — Spaceballs 2 hits theaters a full year from now even though it's done. Italy slapped Netflix with a court-ordered refund for price hikes going back to 2017, while Netflix simultaneously raised prices for US subscribers and launched Playground, a free kids gaming app that works offline (Peppa Pig and Sesame Street, no ads, no in-app purchases — hook 'em on Dah Dum young!)AT THE LIBRARY, Brian has given up on Breath and Jason reads Four Thousand Weeks and Art Spiegelman's Maus — the Pulitzer-winning Holocaust masterpiece that some people are still trying to ban, because humanity never fully learns.Closing out with THE DARK SIDE WITH DAVE, Treasury Secretary Bessent and Fed Chair Powell apparently called an emergency meeting with bank CEOs over Anthropic's new model "Mythos," which can apparently find and exploit vulnerabilities across major OSes and browsers. The boys also catch up on Maul: Shadow Lord, the Strong Songs podcast's Joni Mitchell deep-dive ("Passions soften into wisdom" — weeping on the plane, apparently), the belated discovery that Marathon launched and nobody noticed, and some genuine moon joy courtesy of NASA's Artemis II astronauts.Sponsors:DeleteMe - Get 20% off your DeleteMe plan when you go to JoinDeleteMe.com/GOG and use promo code GOG at checkout.CleanMyMac - Get Tidy Today! This episode of The Rizzuto Show is what happens when a funny podcast goes completely off the rails and nobody bothers to stop it.We kick things off with a story that will absolutely ruin your appetite (and possibly your will to live): a woman sneezes… and worms come flying out of her nose. Not metaphorical worms. Not “ugh, allergies.” Actual, wiggling, horror-movie nightmare fuel. Naturally, we lean into it way too hard and spiral into discussions about parasites, pinworms, and the kind of parenting discoveries nobody prepares you for. From there, things somehow get worse—in a good way. We break down actual scientific research about whose farts smell worse (yes, this is real science, and yes, we take it very seriously like mature adults). The conversation quickly devolves into personal trauma, family bathroom horror stories, and the realization that dads everywhere have committed crimes against humanity in poorly ventilated spaces. Then we pivot—because of course we do—into a wild Everest scam where guides were literally poisoning climbers to fake emergency rescues and cash in on insurance payouts. So if you thought climbing the tallest mountain on Earth sounded dangerous already, good news: it's worse. And just when you think we've hit peak absurdity, we uncover a toothpaste lawsuit involving mold, corporate deception, and the crushing realization that your “all-natural” lifestyle might be a lie. Sprinkle in a sugar baby scam targeting rich dudes with zero self-control, and you've got a funny podcast that covers more ground than it probably should. It's gross, it's ridiculous, it's occasionally informative—and it's exactly what you signed up for.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 1 (4.8)
This is our continuing series of interviews pulled from our 21 years of archives. This week, we feature a 2005 interview with the late David Duncan about what he called The New World Order Scam. Originally released over three weeks in December, 2005 In December of 2005, we interviewed David Duncan about his belief that Christians were being set up by various groups to take the fall for most of what's wrong with America, and thus the world. He called his theory the biggest double cross in all of history, “The New World Order Scam.” This came from a Chance meeting in 1966 in San Francisco with a man named Allen Noonan. Noonan was one of a group of contactees who claimed to heaven encountered UFOs in the 1950s. Dave described how late one night in 1967, at a communal house in Haight-Ashbury, Noonan was overshadowed by a radiant spirit being that identified itself as Lucifer. Noonan revealed something to his followers during David's time in San Francisco called "the plan." Given what's happening in the world today, especially over the last six weeks, this interview has once again become relevant. David Duncan's website is no longer online, but it is archived here. It's worth reading and key to understanding the coming end game. Sharon's niece, Sarah Sachleben, is fighting stage 4 bowel cancer, and the medical bills are piling up. Investigative journalist Sara Gonzales joins the program to break down her work exposing large-scale government scams—and what they mean for everyday Americans. She shares her investigation into the H1B visa system and how it may be displacing skilled workers while raising serious concerns about national security. According to Gonzales, the issue goes far beyond economics, revealing deeper structural problems that are rarely discussed openly. We also dive into other investigations she is actively working on, and how her reporting has, at times, forced real responses—prompting legislative attention and even policy changes. This is a critical conversation about accountability, transparency, and the power of investigative journalism to drive change. You can follow her work at SaraGonzales.comSee exclusives and more at SarahWestall.Substack.com

Today's funny podcast starts off with a simple question: how bad can an allergy shot really be? Turns out… bad enough to make your arm double in size, itch like crazy, and have your coworkers debating whether you're fine or actively dying. Rafe walks us through his “I'll just sleep it off” medical strategy, which is exactly as questionable as it sounds. From there, things get even weirder (shocking, we know). The crew dives into the quest to get a 20-year-old puggle officially recognized by Guinness World Records—which should be easy, except for the minor detail that Guinness is currently ghosting them. Meanwhile, the internet may or may not think Rizz is actually a dog. Totally normal Tuesday stuff. Then we hit the big one: an all-time family drama story featuring an Easter dinner that comes with a Venmo request. $20 per person. Including toddlers. And—this is not a joke—a strict one-plate rule. No seconds. No leftovers. Just vibes and financial resentment. The debate gets heated as the crew breaks down whether this is genius organization or absolute madness. We also get into the “affordable housing” conversation, where St. Louis somehow ranks near the top… but nobody's entirely convinced that “affordable” means what it used to. Expect some real talk mixed with the usual sarcasm as the crew tries to math their way through modern homeownership. And because this funny podcast refuses to stay in one lane, we wrap things up with everything from the dying art of tailoring to the terrifying world of “snake bros”—yes, people who keep venomous snakes as pets and just hope for the best. Spoiler: it's expensive when that goes wrong. It's another day of chaos, sarcasm, and “did they really just say that?” moments from The Rizzuto Show. Third-party lead generation has a reputation—and most of it comes from firms doing it wrong. Anthony Bux has spent two decades inside the system, from building lead gen companies to managing massive intake operations. Now, he helps PI firms avoid the expensive mistakes: testing vendors, validating compliance, and making sure firms don't burn cash on leads they can't convert. This episode shows where the real breakdown happens, and how to fix it. If you're ready to build that foundational brand equity, dominate search, and own your market, head to Rankings.io. On this episode, you'll learn: The real math behind lead costs, conversion rates, and case value. Why cold leads require a completely different intake process than a warm referral. How to spot (and avoid) aggregators selling the same lead multiple times. The minimum budget and timeline required to actually test lead gen. If you like what you hear, hit Subscribe. Then, Tim Dillon stirs the pot by calling out MAGA, igniting backlash and dividing his fanbase. Is he serious, trolling, or just leaning into the chaos? And Taylor Frankie Paul makes a major personal decision—walking away from the Mormon church. We dive into what led to this moment and why it's resonating across social media. If you want to get leaner and live longer check out https://milliondollarbodylabs.com Ever wondered if your favorite "healthy" grocery items are actually designed to keep you sick and coming back for more? I pulled together a series of highlights from previous conversations to expose some of these industry secrets. I revisit the talk with Lance Watson, who is a bodybuilder. He explains why pills fail and how athletes feel when they look like steel. Anna Vocino joins to discuss stores. She exposes fraud in oil and chemicals in spices. She describes how companies use math to hide sugar on labels. I also dive into the history of the food pyramid. I trace roots to a church and explain how the department used guidelines to sell grain. This compilation provides tools to ignore marketing and reclaim health Key Takeaways The "Easy Button" is a Myth: Magic pills and trendy supplements like SARMs are mostly hype; real results come from the basics and consistency. The Reality of Shredded Steel: When athletes look their best on a magazine cover, they usually feel their absolute worst physically. Olive Oil Fraud: Many big-brand olive oils are cut with up to 40% cheap seed oils or "lamp oil" and colored with chlorophyll to deceive consumers. Hidden Manufacturing Agents: Manufacturers use "slip agents" and anti-caking chemicals to keep machinery running, often without disclosing them on the label. "Nut Facts" Trickery: Labeling laws allow a margin of error that lets companies hide added sugars, such as grape concentrate or turbinado sugar, under the guise of "zero grams". The Food Pyramid Scam: National dietary guidelines were heavily influenced by the religious beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the need to clear massive grain surpluses.
