In the old testament, the Bible talks about the temple as a place that carries the dimension of God within(presence of God). In the new testament, we are the temple, this means we should structure ourselves as the old temple to be able to host God's dimension in us.
As Christians, we are supposed to manifest Heaven on Earth, but we can never give what we do not have, this is why it is important to be able to host the presence of God within us.
