This week, Dudley brings us his Monthly Message, The Prevailing Word, from Acts 19, a chapter filled with extraordinary miracles and the reality of spiritual conflict. In it, he walks us through the dramatic story of the Seven Sons of Sceva, offering clear insight into spiritual warfare explained through Scripture. We see how the power of Jesus' name cannot be borrowed or imitated—it must be lived through faith.Dudley also reflects on how the Word of God “prevailed” in Ephesus, transforming lives, leading to repentance, and even sparking a bonfire of sorcery books. This Bible study reminds us that our work in Christ matters, that every act of love pushes back darkness, and that the same Spirit who moved in Acts still empowers the church today.Get Dudley's Weekly Word delivered right to your inbox every Friday! Welcome to The Weekly Word! In this timely message, we are stepping into PROMOTION TIME—August 1–15 on the Gregorian calendar, aligned with the powerful spiritual season in the Hebrew month of Av.We are currently in the prophetic window called "Between the Straits"—from July 13 (17th of Tammuz) to August 3 (9th of Av). This season recalls both historic tragedy and a call to next-level faith. What You'll Learn in This Word:Why the Hebrew month of Av (Menachem Av) means “God our Comforter”—a season of divine comfort and accelerationThe golden calf incident (Exodus 32) and how fear and impatience cause us to forget our identityHow the 10 spies missed God's promise (Numbers 13–14) because they saw themselves as grasshoppers instead of conquerorsWhy your promotion requires you to see through eyes of faith, not fearHow God has written your destiny for this year—and this is the time to step into it!Prophetic Reflection:The Israelites came out of Egypt with silver and gold, but they carried a slave mindset. Surrounded by false gods in Egypt, they struggled to fully trust the one true God—even after miracles, signs, and wonders. When waiting at Mount Sinai, they questioned their identity and God's goodness. But God is saying: STOP. PAUSE. STEP IN.You're coming into August. You're entering Menachem Av—“I am the Lord your Comforter.” God wants to comfort you from affliction and raise your faith to receive your promotion.Romans 1:17 reminds us that "the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith." In the Greek, the word for faith—pistis—means:Moral convictionReliance on ChristAssurance in God's goodnessSo ask yourself: Do you believe He's merciful, just, loving, and good? Do you believe He has good plans for you? Because God is calling you into the Promised Land, and your faith will determine how far you go.Key Dates to Remember:July 13 – 17th of Tammuz (Start of "Between the Straits")July 25 (at sundown) – Start of the month of AvAugust 1–15 – Promotion TimeAugust 3 – 9th of Av (Tisha B'Av, a day of mourning and reflection)Don't miss this prophetic word—it's your moment to break cycles, rise in faith, and walk into your God-appointed destiny.LIKE • COMMENT • SUBSCRIBE for more weekly prophetic insights!Sign up for the free “ASCEND Class” at 10 am and 6 pm EST – Tuesday August 12 http://bit.ly/4gfRKXmGet your copy of “365 Prophetic Revelations from the Hebrew Calendar”Www.candicesmithyman.comhttps://amzn.to/4aQYoR0Enroll in Soul Transformation and Dream Mentors 101 to become a ministry affiliateWww.dreammentors.org

This week, Dudley, Samuel and Corinne return to a powerful and timely conversation on women in spiritual authority and the structure of biblical elders in the modern church. They dive deep into the tensions between Scripture and culture, tackling hard questions around Christian patriarchy, toxic church culture, and spiritual abuse. What does Paul really say about gender roles? Can a church be safe, healthy, and effective if women are excluded from leadership? Welcome to the Weekly Word! This week, we're diving deep into the powerful and timely message of waiting on God and reflecting on His divine timing. As we enter the month of Tammuz, we find ourselves in a season of reflection, repentance, and spiritual growth. In this month, God is calling us to pause, reflect, and affirm our identity in Him.As we look back to Exodus 32, we remember the Israelites' impatience as they waited for Moses to return. Their impatience led them to build a golden calf, relying on their own understanding instead of trusting God's timing. This is a month to resist the urge to move ahead without God's direction, as we strengthen our relationship with Him.Exodus 32:1-4 (NKJV), “Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us [a]gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.” And Aaron said to them, “Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.” So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron. And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calThen they said, “This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!”While things may feel slow right now, it's a time of spiritual rest and reflection as God prepares us for what's ahead. August brings promotion and new beginnings, but for now, we must take a pause, reflect on our identity in Christ, and be patient as we wait for God's next steps. This is a powerful message for anyone who feels frustrated by the waiting season. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, and the best is yet to come. Don't build anything without His guidance—wait for His strategy, and He will lead you into your next season of blessing and breakthrough.#July12025TammuzResources & Action Steps:Sign up for the free “ASCEND Class” at 10 am and 6 pm EST – July 17 http://bit.ly/4gfRKXmGet your copy of “365 Prophetic Revelations from the Hebrew Calendar”Www.candicesmithyman.comhttps://amzn.to/4aQYoR0Enroll in Soul Transformation and Dream Mentors 101 to become a ministry affiliateWww.dreammentors.org
