It's baseball in March and April again! Feels like a bygone era... Jody and Thomas are back to talk their hopes and expectations in what could be an exciting NL East in 2021.

It's finally back. A short 60 game season, but Jody and Thomas are here to talk all about it. Of course, 2020 moves super fast, so the Juan Soto news broke just as we finished, but a chat about all things Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals ahead of the start of baseball again.

No baseball for a while. No point in speculating when it'll be back, so Jody and Thomas decided to have a chinwag about everything from the 2019 World Series, the Astros being cheaters, Zach Wheeler going from Thomas' to Jody's team, and a little bit of gaming chat, with The Show and OOTP being released in quick succession. The Nationals are in the World Series! How did this happen? Jody and Thomas are here to break it down. We also look ahead to their opponents, as the Yankees and Astros continue to battle in the NLCS.

Jody and Thomas return to review a video nasty in Game 5 for the Braves. Also, the Nationals won a playoff series! Nats knock off the Dodgers, and we preview the NLCS matchup with the Cardinals.

The hosts dissect their respective team's seasons as both the Phillies and Mets are eliminated from postseason contention in the last few days. There's a quick preview of the Braves and Nationals in the postseason, and their chances of making some noise in October.

Jody and Thomas are back to talk a little drop of from the Nationals, but not enough that there's cause for concern, the Phillies and Mets and their Wild Card chances, and then a long discussion about the spike in home runs this season and the absurd rate they've gone up.

Since we were last here, the Mets and Phillies have slid away from playoff contention. They play each other this week though, so you never know. But it looks like Braves are gonna walk the division and the Nats will host the Wildcard game. Jody and Thomas are back to talk all about it.

The top four teams have all won multiple games in a row at the time of recording. Is it possible the Wildcard Game will be an all NL East affair?

Well, apart from the Marlins. The Mets hot streak has got them right back into the Wildcard chase, and with the Nats in and the Phils just on the outside, the NL East is really hotting up.

The Mets have won 7 in a row. Thomas is happy. They're only four games back of the Wildcard now. Is it possible they can get into contention? Probably not, but we talk that and all of the NL East moves at the trade deadline.

Recorded days ago, we chatted about the Class of 2019 in Cooperstown, and who from the NL East may or may not make it into the Hall in the future.

After declaring the division a two horse race last week, the Phillies have a chance to get even closer this weekend against a scuffling Braves. Can the Braves get back on track, or is their 6 game trip to Philadelphia and Washington about to open the race? Jody and Thomas also wonder if anyone will be traded between now and the deadline on Wednesday.

As the Braves cool off a little, the Nationals continue to surge. We discuss whether the division is between those two, and what moves may be made in the NL East as the trade deadline approaches in 12 days time.
