The owner of Atet – the controversial floating club in Docklands – is suing the City of Melbourne over the alleged wrongful termination of its licence and is seeking damages to recoup millions of dollars in losses. Queensland police could be granted new powers to randomly breath-test scooter riders and cyclists under a new crackdown aimed at curbing bad behaviour.
