KYNG JAYMES began to focus and hone his Spiritual acuity for growth and healing, after a couple of decades of practicing Transcendental Meditation and veganism. KYNG JAYMES Productions was formed in 2001, where he created, produced, coordinated, promoted and maintained a formidable presence in downtown Chicago with a one of a kind Poetry Competition and Festival of events, that spanned a couple of years showcased bi-monthly. He was credited with creating the first ever, Awards of Recognition Ceremony, honoring the local poets and the hosts of the many venues that support the art form. Also, took a troop of Poets on the college circuit, touring and performing to packed audiences. He is a writer, a poet and sang tenor, toured and recorded with the Chicago Mass Choir for about 5 years in the late 90’s.
