Reactions after the Supreme Court's 5-4 decision that upheld Mississippi's mail-in ballot law, which allows election officials to count absentee ballots that are postmarked by Election Day but arrive up to five days later. The justices determined that federal election laws do not preempt state laws that establish these ballot grace periods. 

Parents sue Snapchat for pushing adult material to children and the Supreme Court struck down Donald John's executive order that attempted to end birthright citizenship for children born in the U.S. to parents who are undocumented or in the country temporarily, ruling that these children are automatically U.S. citizens under the 14th Amendment. 

A new Mississippi law goes into effect which mandates that minors accused of certain firearm-related offenses, such as violent crimes, drive-by shootings, and illegal possession tied to felonies, be tried in adult circuit court rather than youth court.
