Sun-X has been treating windows to combat the effects of the sun since the 1960's, initially with a liquid coating, which was adapted for the conservation market to filter out harmful UV rays, without changing the quality of the transmitted light, nor the appearance of the building. The advent of polyester window film in the 1970's then superceded liquid to a large degree. Sun-X then began manufacturing and fitting traditional roller blind systems in the 1980's, thereby offering a complete solution to sunlight control. Since 2004, Sun-X is also very proud to bear the Royal Warrant: By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen, Suppliers and Installers of Traditional Blinds and Ultraviolet Filters.
