Man. Jimbo welcomes Daniel Storey, Adrian Clarke and Tim Spiers into the pod after another pivotal Premier League weekend. Leicester are officially relegated after defeat at home to leaders Liverpool. What awaits the Foxes in the Championship? And does Trent Alexander-Arnold's celebration mean he's staying or going? It was nearly another nightmare result for Enzo Maresca but Chelsea fought back at Fulham to secure a huge win in the hunt for Champions League football. Liam Twomey has more from Craven Cottage. Aston Villa produced maybe their most impressive performance of the season as they took apart red-hot Newcastle at Villa Park. We ask where next for Kevin De Bruyne? And where next for Bryan Mbeumo? Plus who's the most overrated player in the Premier League? And where have all the Ian's gone? Produced by Charlie Jones. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1a: Leicester 0-1 Liverpool (03.30) • PART 1b: Ipswich 0-4 Arsenal (09.30) • PART 2a: Fulham 1-2 Chelsea with Liam Twomey (14.00) • PART 2b: Man United 0-1 Wolves and that Lyon game (19.00) • PART 3a: Aston Villa 4-1 Newcastle (29.00) • PART 3b: Everton 0-2 Man City - where next for KDB? Originally released several months ago for super-listeners. This is the sort of episode you get as part of being a listener as well as a lot of others as well as ad free listening and much more. Sign up here: https://www.patreon.com/c/Footballforkids In this episode of the Football for Kids Podcast, I take a look at the career so far of Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho. Born in Madrid to an Argentine mother and Spanish father, Garnacho was always likely to be influenced by both footballing cultures. I go back to his early days at Getafe and Atlético Madrid, and follow his move to Manchester United's youth academy. A standout goal in the FA Youth Cup caught attention, and not long after, he made his senior debut at just 17 years old. I also talk through some of Garnacho's big moments, including a memorable bicycle kick against Everton, and the role he's played under manager Erik ten Hag. With over 100 appearances already, he's made a strong start to his career. There's more to come from Garnacho, but here's where it all began. Learn more about your ad choices. Max Hayes is joined by Dave Astbury and Sam Evans to discuss Forest's last minute defeat to Everton at the City Ground. What next for the Reds, is it time to panic?
In this episode we discuss the 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday, starting with an atypical team selection from Mikel Arteta who obviously had the Champions League in mind when picking his starting XI. We discuss the first half, the goal we scored, a sloppy start to the second half and the penalty awarded to Everton. Was it more a referee error, or VAR? We chat about that, and how we still had plenty of time to find a winner but as has been the case more than once this season we failed to do so. We then answer listener questions about this season as a whole, defensive and attacking selections for the Real Madrid game, Jakub Kiwior, David Raya's penalty saving technique, and loads more.In April we'll be donating 100% of our Patreon revenue to four great charities, including the Arsenal Foundation, as well as supporting our friends at ArsenalVision Podcast as they launch their annual fundraiser - https://justgiving.com/page/avp2025Get extra bonus content and help support Arseblog by becoming an Arseblog Member on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/arseblog Hosted on Acast.
