West Ham are in a European final! Sheffield Wednesday gave us one of the most dramatic nights of the season! And José Mourinho's Roma… yeah, well they drew 0-0 with Bayer Leverkusen and had one shot to progress to the final of the Europa League. Vintage.Marcus, Vish, David and Jim chew on all of that with their Bobby Dazzlers (more on that, too) and discuss why Frank Lampard's Chelsea will definitely halt Manchester City's march to the title on Sunday. What's up Benchwarmers!! It's a three piece for this episode Diego, Jon, and Marco get down to review the prime action over the weekend! City win over Leeds and Haaland can't break the current Prem goal scoring record.. is this really the record holder? This is your God? At least that's what Diego would say after having his heart broken. Arsenal take it to Newcastle and become only the second team after Liverpool to beat them at Saint James Park. It looked like either squad was going to waste and run the clock as much as they needed until it became a standstill. A team who's not standing still however, is Liverpool who are slowly creeping back up the table after one nil win against Brentford. It looks like Klopp has his attacking men all in a row, except for one who never decided to show… Arthur Melo, leaving Liverpool after a disastrous loan spell that saw him accumulate the grand total of zero minutes for the Liverpool Reds. Elsewhere in the league at the bottom there was an all out brawl between the relegation candidates with score lines, such as 5–3 5–1 4–3 it was 21 goals in a single match day. Incredible stuff for teams like Everton and Nottingham Forest. While also speaking of brawls we talk about the mayhem that was River Plate versus Boca Juniors in the Argentine league. A very dubious penalty and red cards given out like candy. This was another Derby for the books. We did get into a preview quickly for the champions league matches this week. We also went over the low expectations for the local MLS team. That is the New York Red Bulls. Plus an interesting insight on the frequent occurring ACL injuries to the women footballers of today. We go over it all and we hope to hear your voice on the bench so please like comment and subscribe to our channel, follow our podcast wherever you get your favorite shows, and of course the call is always open! Juventus were able to slay one of their recent boogeymen with a successful trip to Bergamo, sending the Bianconeri into second place as the race for a top four spot heats up with four games to go in the 2022-23 season. On this week's episode of The Old Lady Speaks Podcast, we discuss: Takeaways from the week that was — how scared we are about Juventus messing things up with Samuel Iling-Junior, how nice it is to have some squad depth at this time of the season and it's nice to have it at Max Allegri's disposal, and Mattia De Sciglio's season-ending injury on magnifies how Juve's depth at fullback/wingback is not up to par. Juventus beat Lecce. Good times! Juventus also beat Atalanta. Even better times! There were some good things to come out of the 2-0 win over Atalanta despite seeing La Dea record a whole lot of shots but really not put much on target. Looking ahead to Thursday's first leg of the Europa League semifinal against Sevilla, the masters of the competition who have found form after a managerial change. Looking at the rumors that Juventus could have a new sporting director in relatively short order, with the Bianconeri reportedly holding talks with Napoli head honcho Cristiano Giuntoli.
From Napoli's fantastic Serie A title party celebrations at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, Theo Hernandez wondergoal in AC Milan win, Rafael Leao injured ahead of Champions League semifinal, woeful Maurizio Sarri Lazio playing with fire, Romelu Lukaku scores again as Inter Milan impress away against decimated Roma, to José Mourinho's Europa League plans, and Juventus win over Atalanta as Dusan Vlahovic racially abused and much, much more as Nima and Carlo break down all the talking points from an absolutely action packed weekend of Italian football.Every Monday episode of The Italian Football Podcast is free for all.To get ALL and never miss an episode of The Italian Football Podcast (as well as support the show), go to Patreon.com/TIFP to become a Patron for only $2.99 USD per month (excluding VAT).Follow us: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube

Benchwarmers what's going on we're back on this episode Marco, Jon, and Diego talking about all of the action in the Prem. We do want to talk about the banger of a match between Liverpool and Tottenham which ended 4–3. And also ended any credibility for Richarlison sadly. We also talk about Chelsea and what is not happening there after Lampard takes his sixth consecutive loss since taking over again. Is this going to be his legacy or is it simply just his love for the club? That'll shield him from any kind of criticism we guess. We do talk about some other things that happened in the football world such as spoiled PSG fans, exhilarated Napoli fans, and some of the requirements to make a cool 3 million in just under four weeks. We do also fit in our Fantasy 15 segment, and we finish it off with our weekly prediction round for the upcoming games during the weekend we always want to hear from you.
