John asks what gives us joy as we approach Christmas, and then uses the readings from Isaiah and John to explore what gives God joy.
There is only one light of Christmas—and it is not you! John 1:6-8 describes to us what John’s attitude was regarding Jesus, the true light—the Christ. Believers ought to bear witness as John did to that light by reflecting the light of Christ in us.
