Pastor Lorenzo walks us through Matthew 21:1-11 as Jesus enters Jerusalem in what has been referred to as the Triumphal Entry. Jesus orchestrated a procession that demanded attention just days before he would be arrested and condemned to the cross, confounding the expectations of the people regarding what kind of savior he would be.
“Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” These words from John the Baptist detail the mission of Jesus. But what does this mean for us today? Our good friend Dr. Michael Rydelnik connects with us while in Israel to talk about how the sacrifice of Jesus is demonstrated in the Jewish Passover. Discover how this part of Jewish worship symbolizes the new and living way that Jesus reaches all cultures around the world. We hope you'll gain fresh insights as you prepare to remember the salvation found in the Lamb of God…Until All Have Heard.
This week, Pastor Andrey Gorban continues our series through the Gospel of John by focusing our attention on one of the most iconic titles given to Jesus: The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.Preaching from John 1:19–34, Pastor Andrey walks us through the prophetic ministry of John the Baptist—not as a celebrity prophet or spiritual influencer, but as a humble voice crying in the wilderness. John knew who he wasn't—he wasn't the Christ, wasn't Elijah, wasn't the prophet—and he knew exactly who he was: a pointer to the One who is greater. In this message, you'll hear how John's self-forgetfulness is a model for our own Christian witness. You'll be reminded that ministry isn't about building a platform—it's about lowering ourselves so others might lift their eyes to Jesus. With rich theological insight and warm pastoral care, this sermon calls us to re-center our lives on the One who gave His life for ours, and to be content with simply saying: “Look to Him.”
Mark Morton Talks Chester Bennington, Solo Album Without The Pain & Lamb Of God's Future On The Loaded Radio Podcast TL;DR: Lamb Of God guitarist Mark Morton joins the Loaded Radio Podcast to talk about his soulful new solo album Without The Pain, collaborating with late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, the creative process in Lamb Of God, and his honest thoughts on both current and former bandmates. Mark Morton Unleashes His Blues-Driven Side With Without The Pain Mark Morton isn't just the riff-slinging guitar beast from Lamb Of God. On this week's episode of the Loaded Radio Podcast, the guitarist pulls back the curtain on his newest solo release Without The Pain, a record steeped in blues, southern rock, and emotional depth. Released via Rise Records, Without The Pain features a diverse lineup of guests, including Cody Jinks, Neil Fallon (Clutch), Grace Bowers, Jason Isbell, Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke), and Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three). It's a sharp turn from the punishing rhythms of Lamb Of God, yet unmistakably Mark Morton. During the podcast, Morton explains how the album was years in the making, allowing him to fully explore the stylistic roots that shaped his musical identity long before he ever set foot on a metal stage. Collaborating With Chester Bennington: The Story Behind “Cross Off” One of the most emotionally resonant points of the podcast is Morton's reflection on working with late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington. The two teamed up on “Cross Off,” a standout track from Morton's 2019 debut solo album Anesthetic. Morton opens up about the power of that collaboration — how Bennington brought a raw intensity to the track, and how the session still resonates with him today. Lamb Of God, Sobriety, And Looking Forward Of course, no conversation with Mark Morton is complete without diving into Lamb Of God. In this episode, he shares honest reflections on the band's internal dynamics — both past and present. Morton touches on his long journey with sobriety, how it's impacted his creative process, and how the band's chemistry continues to evolve after more than two decades of making heavy music together. Morton also hints at what's ahead for Lamb Of God, suggesting that while his solo work is a vital creative outlet, there's plenty of fuel left in the fire when it comes to the band's future output. Listen To The Full Interview Want to hear Mark Morton discuss songwriting secrets, guest collaborations, Lamb Of God's legacy, and his love of southern blues? Hit play on the podcast episode below and get the full story straight from the man himself. FAQ Q: What is Without The Pain by Mark Morton? A: It's Mark Morton's second solo album, exploring blues and southern rock influences with a range of guest musicians. Q: Who features on Without The Pain? A: The album includes appearances by Cody Jinks, Neil Fallon, Grace Bowers, Jason Isbell, Jaren Johnston, and more. Q: Did Mark Morton work with Chester Bennington? A: Yes, on the track “Cross Off” from his first solo album Anesthetic in 2019. Q: Is Mark Morton still in Lamb Of God? A: Absolutely. Morton continues to be a key creative force in Lamb Of God while exploring other musical avenues through solo work. Q: What did he say about Chris Adler? A: Morton remains reluctant to discuss the former Lamb Of God drummer and the reasons behind his departure. Mark Morton Bio Mark Morton is the longtime lead guitarist for the Grammy-nominated groove metal band Lamb Of God. Known for his tight, aggressive riffing and technical solos, Morton has been a core part of the band since its early days as Burn the Priest. Outside of Lamb Of God, Mark has carved out a distinct solo identity that explores blues, southern rock, and deeply personal themes. His 2019 debut solo album Anesthetic featured collaborations with artists like Chester Bennington and Jacoby Shaddix, while his 2025 release Without The Pain leans further into heartfelt, roots-driven territory. Morton is also open about his sobriety and personal growth, often using music as a vehicle for emotional expression. He remains one of heavy metal's most versatile and thoughtful guitarists.
In this sermon by Chris Romig, the focus is on linking the Book of Revelation to Palm Sunday, unveiling the profound truths found in Revelation chapters 4 and 5. Pastor Chris takes us through John's vision on Patmos, explaining how the messages to the seven churches still resonate today, before shifting to the heavenly scenes of chapters four and five. John's vision in chapter four assures us of God's control over future events, while chapter five introduces a significant scroll held by God, symbolizing a divine testament for the earth's destiny. John weeps when no one can open the scroll until he is told of Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and the Lamb, who has the authority to do so because of his sacrificial victory. Chris ties this to Palm Sunday, emphasizing Jesus' entry into Jerusalem as both Lion and Lamb, fulfilling his mission of salvation. This connection highlights the importance of Holy Week, urging believers to embrace the journey through suffering and sacrifice, leading to the ultimate victory of Easter. The sermon reassures us of God's control and hope through Jesus' sacrifice, encouraging a deeper engagement with the events of Holy Week, confident in the victory already achieved.
Continuing our series called Jesus: The One And Only, Pastor Rebecca teaches on the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross.

Personal Revival, Nation Awakening & Generational ReformationBeginning with Moses, as the Children of Israel were about to leave bondage and slavery—they were commanded to place the blood of the passover lamb upon their door post as the death angel passed through Egypt. The blood closed the door to judgment but also opened the door to their glorious freedom. Jesus, our Passover Lamb, was sacrificed, both receiving our judgment and delivering our liberation from the dominion and tyranny of sin. Behold The Lamb of God! John 1:29
In the age of social media, we're always on the defense, ready to pounce on anyone who disagrees with us or attacks us. But Jesus didn't get defensive—even when He was being led to His death! The Old Testament prophesied that He would be quiet like a lamb during His trial. After all, Jesus is the Lamb of God. We should strive to be gentler and quieter, like lambs, in this harsh world.

Series: Discovering Jesus of NazarethService: Gospel MeetingType: Gospel MeetingSpeaker: Bill Sanchez
This week, we continue our series The Way of the Cross. In this section of Luke, Jesus shares the Passover meal (the Last Supper) with His disciples. Pastor Eric Hovis breaks down this eventful dinner into seven scenes and focuses on three key aspects: The significance of the table The people at the table The Lamb at the table
With five performances in different locations, “Lamb of God” celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Featuring a track premiere from Voom, Steve Newall's weekly review on Flicks 'n' That, track selections from Michael Llewellyn and a first spin of his latest single The Fish Song on What's Cooking, and Marlo Schorr-Kon speaks to Alien Weaponry about their new album Te Rā and their collab with Lamb Of God on the single Taniwha. Thanks to The Beer Spot.
Throughout the Bible, a lamb was a symbol of sacrifice, but when it came to Christ, THE lamb of God, He was the sacrifice for man’s salvation.
The judgments of Christ on the world are outlined in the seven seals of the book of Revelation.
John 1:30 This is He on behalf of whom I said, “After me comes a Man who has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.” John testified to the honor due Jesus Christ. He recognized Jesus' higher rank, not in an earthly organizational or social way, but rank before God. One can't be of higher rank than Jesus. He's worthy of the highest honor, the greatest glory, complete submission, and enduring worship. I think we should keep this verse connected to the previous one. He's worthy of these things because He is the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world. The apostle Paul declared the same truth for the same reason when he wrote to the Philippians in 2:9-11. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. The writer of Hebrews wrote of Jesus' lofty rank when he introduced Jesus in this way in 1:3-4. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they. Notice that the reason for the honor and glory is the same reason given by John and Paul—He laid down His life for us to take away our sin. John also testified to Jesus' eternality. As we know, John the Baptist was Jesus' cousin, and was 6 months older than Jesus. So we know John saying that Jesus existed before him, wasn't a reference to an earthly age comparison. It must be John's way of saying Jesus is eternal life. He has always existed. Remember, He was in the beginning with God (v. 2). The source of our love is the eternal, living Word, the glorious Son of God, Jesus Christ. We are living today with Him! Isn't that beyond full comprehension? We can read this and understand it in part, but to grasp the full glory of it is beyond us now. But some day, it will not be outside our ability to comprehend and understand. We will see Him as He is, wrote John in 1 John 3:2. With all that we have, let us worship Jesus for His rank and glory. Let's be amazed that we have been united with Him in love and have the privilege of loving with Him. Watch who He puts in your path today to love and care for. Then receive what He gives you and share it with them. I invite you to become a partner in our ministry. John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” What a wonderful truth we have here from which to take great comfort. If we look at it from our own perspective, we have our own personal sin-bearer. He removes our sins from us so we can be made right with God. He's the Lamb of God, pointing to His sacrificial ministry on our behalf. Behold Him! Look at Him! Be amazed at Him! Thank Him. If we look at it collectively, the statement is even more stunning. He has taken away all of the sins of everyone in His body with whom He's related. Therefore, we have a basis for total forgiveness for those who sin against us. Indeed, we can pray, “Forgive us our sins, debts, and trespasses as we forgive those who sin, trespass, and are indebted to us.” We may share the blessing of the Lamb of God with others. If we look at this statement for insight into Jesus and His character, we can be encouraged that His sin-bearing wasn't thrust upon Him; He actively took up our sins. He went after it with the full intention of removing it and setting us free from sin's penalty. His life wasn't taken from Him, He gave it up willingly. The apostle John rightly defined God's love in this statement and echoed it in his first epistle. 3:26. “We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” And, 4:10. “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” So what should our response be to this verse and the ones in 1 John? John tells us. “Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another” (1 Jo. 4:11). Living to love with Jesus means we willingly take up the sins of others who sin against us and lay down our lives that they might live before us. We don't call them toxic and cast them into the outer darkness of our lives. Whoever does that does not know God. No, for the glory of God through Jesus Christ, we intentionally, willingly, knowingly, repeatedly take up their sins and recognize Jesus has already taken away their sins to bring that person to God, just like He has with us. I invite you to become a partner in our ministry. Would you pray about becoming a regular supporter of Elijah Ministries and the Live to Love with Jesus ministry? I hope you will receive the joy and benefit of “giving it forward,” so others may receive encouragement to turn their hearts to God and to live to love with Jesus. There's deep mystery in the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Exactly how this works is beyond my ability to explain. Jesus makes an exchange with us. He takes our rage and returns his gentle love. He takes our crippling anxiety and gives us his peace. He takes our sin-stained, sticky guilt and washes us clean in his blood. He takes all our dying and begins eternal life in us by his Spirit. He invites us to show him our scars and still-open, infected wounds. The Lamb of God wants us to offer up our sin for his forgiveness. To give him our lives and let him pour his life back into us.

JOHN 1:18-30 - BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD - BRIAN SUMNER - 2025JOHN 1:18 "No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”21 And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?”He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”22 Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?”23 He said: “I am ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the Lord,” ' as the prophet Isaiah said.”24 Now those who were sent were from the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him, saying, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” 26 John answered them, saying, “I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. 27 It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose.”28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.' Randy Blythe is the lead singer and songwriter for the heavy metal band, Lamb of God. He writes and sings, you might call it yelling...even growling, very angry, aggressive, and dark music. He has the sordid past you would expect. Severe alcoholism. Jail time for manslaughter charges. You might be surprised, or not, that he's the son of a Southern Baptist pastor. And Randy has just written his second book, called Just Beyond the Light: Making Peace with the Wars Inside Our Head. I was sent an advanced copy of the book and I found Randy to be an incredibly introspective, insightful and intellectually sober individual who I resonated with significantly. His music career started in punk rock and was very political and rebelling against society. Today however, Randy readily admits the one-sided judgement of it all. He says, “If something is worth believing in…a political, religious or humanitarian position…surely it should withstand rigorous examination from a rational, educated observer with critical thinking.” He goes on to say, “If you are unwilling to question your own beliefs and just accept them at face value…you are driven by fear." He shares that he finally realized, "his own head was lying to him" and the war inside his head and the incessant conflict was just his daily, constantly shifting perception of reality. I feel this is the war in all of our heads, and it's where my primary interest as of late is. Following is my conversation with Randy to dig into his experience and discuss our shared views on perception and reality. I found Randy incredibly thoughtful and humble, and am going to join him in Denver in a couple weeks during his national Spoken Word tour to get to know each other more.
