Hey-yo citizens! This week we talk all things Batman #64, Green Lantern #4, Justice League #17, Young Justice #2, Daredevil #1, Die #3. Another long list of comics for the week as we try to cover all grounds! Packs. Full. Of. Jams! But before we get into comics, we catch up on the week we’ve been having, and we yet again talk about the game that we’re both into - Dokkan Battle! We talk about what makes Dokkan fun for us, and how it compares to a lot of other gacha games. The coffee we’ll be brewing this week is called Ethiopia Ardi roasted by Seth Taylor: Coffee By Design. This comes from a new coffee house as we’ve never received anything from Seth Taylor before. We’re always happy to get new coffee from new places! Let’s see how this one turns out! What did you think about this episode? Do you like the direction of Green Lantern? What do you think of the new reveals for Lex in Justice League? Do you think Daredevil started off the new series strong? Let us know what you think! SUBSCRIBE TO THE SHOW! We’re back! It’s 2019, and it’s our first official episode of the new year! Wooo! This is now officially (unofficially) Legacy episode 41! We would like to wish everyone a happy new year, and we hope you will enjoy what’s we’ve got in store for 2019. We got some big things planned for the podcast, so hopefully those would all come to fruition. But before we get into comics, we both talk about what we’ve been doing over the holidays. There’s quite a bit of stuff, so it might be best to just leave that to the episode. We will say, it does get quite nerdy. The coffee we’ll be brewing this week is called De Dios roasted by Drumroaster Coffee. From the first taste, we’ve got a good feeling about this one. Can this start our new year strong? Will this be the first time where we go 3/3 (or however many notes are in this coffee) on our guesses?! What did you think about this episode? Do you like the current direction of Batman? How about Justice League? Do you agree with our analysis of Heroes in Crisis and Captain America? Let us know what you think! SUBSCRIBE TO THE SHOW! SUBSCRIBE TO THE SHOW! Join our Facebook group at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/182907015663575/ Hey everyone! This week we breakdown Justice League 4 and Gideon Falls 5! It’s back-to-back weeks for Justice League, as last week’s Justice League discussion was actually a week late. We’re caught up again! And Gideon Falls is starting get to the climax of the first arc. We can’t wait for the mystery to unravel! But before we get into comics we talk a bit more on Dokkan Battle again! The 3rd anniversary event is still going strong. Kind of getting the feeling that the event will run until the 4th anniversary (although Victor won’t mind at all). The coffee we’ll be brewing this week is called Miguel Rojas roasted by Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters. This looks like the first time we got coffee from out in Alberta. It’s always nice to get coffee from new roasters across Canada. What did you think about this episode? What are your opinions on the roller coaster ride that is Justice League? Do you have any theories about Gideon Falls that perhaps we haven’t discussed? Send us an email or tweet at us to let us know your thoughts! There’s been so many new amazing comics coming out each week, so we wanted to make sure we tackle Justice League 3 before Justice League 4 comes out next week. More good stuff as always! We then talk about Superman issue 1. What does the idea of ‘home’ mean? We analyze the issue and give our take on this theme! But before we get into comics we talk a bit more on Dokkan Battle! The third anniversary event is still going strong, so if you’re not playing this game you definitely should! The coffee we’ll be brewing this week is called Kolla Bolcha roasted by Kaito Coffee Roasters. Some interesting and fruity notes this time around for this coffee. Come find out how we did! So they made a pilot episode for a potential Justice League of America series. It failed to promise anything of a good show, so they released it as TV movie! This podcast is of course looking at the 1997 TV movie Justice League of America. This episode features That Film Stew's Luke with special guest (also from That Film Stew) Jason, taking a look at what this disaster had to offer. What did they think of the TV movie directed by Félix Enríquez Alcalá? They'll discuss the history of the Justice League, the rotating roster, and run down the characters and powers of the members of this JLA. The movie centres on a female meteorologist who gains superpowers and is later inducted into the League, while the city of New Metro is held for ransom by a terrorist armed with a weather control device. Are you are fan of the Justice League? Do you remember this failed TV pilot? Before we get the home video release of 2017's Justice League, check out what Sounds Like Comics thought of what is better known as "FRIENDS with superpowers". We look at the struggling Labor Day box office, and ask the tough questions regarding rumors for upcoming movies on this week’s Moviecast. Is Shia LeBeof is out of Indy 5? Can we see Leo as Joker? Does Joss Whedon deserve director credit for Justice League? Do we care about Robin getting casted in the Titans series? Can Inhumans really be that bad? We also celebrate the 25th anniversary of Batman the Animated Series. #Batman #BatmanTAS #Batman25 #Justice League #Inhumans #Titans #Josswhedon #Joker
