Seth Taylor is a perfect example of someone who saw an opportunity and took it. He was working for horse trainers and realized how important it was to keep good cattle around to work. He also was able to see that it was an opportunity to start a business. After some help and encouragement he was able to get started at the facility he was already at and through word of mouth and networking he has been able to expand. Today the operation has grown exponentially through doing a good job taking care of his customers and his cattle.Diversified Payments:https://www.diversifiedpayments.com/wealthycowboyThe Wealthy Cowboy Mastermind:https://www.skool.com/the-wealthy-cowboy-mastermind-1608/about

I'm Still Here: A Dog's Purpose Forever with Cathryn Michon This richly illustrated book reveals a comforting narrative told from the point of view of a loving angel dog, who wants you to know, “I'm still here . . . But I'm also there where all the animals run free, with no pain, waiting for you, watching for you, loving you, and guiding you.” Losing one's dog is one of the most difficult experiences we go through and it's hard to find solace. However, the profound, four-legged narrator of I'm Still Here has nothing but good news for humans. The free verse is equally rhapsodic about the eternal nature of our souls and the amazing sound of crinkly wrappers that means cheese is about to be sliced. This very good dog proclaims that love never dies, that we will meet again, and that if you ever doubted that humans are magnificent creatures, look no further than the humble ball. Author Cathryn Michon co-wrote the blockbuster hit film A Dog's Purpose. Elegant, full-color watercolor paintings by award-winning artist Seth Taylor make this the perfect gesture of compassion for anyone who has ever said goodbye to a dog (or person) gone too soon, because it's always too soon. What must it have been like for a Democratic Party delegate to keep a brave face outwardly while stressing the "known unknowns" internally? I spoke with Seth Taylor, a Georgia DNC delegate - proudly, he'll tell you, a delegate on the spectrum - who took the rollercoaster ride of uncertainty the past month. Hear how he weathered the debate debacle, its aftermath and the inevitable transition from "Joe" to "Kamala." Georgia NAACP chapter President Gerald Griggs also joined me today to weigh in on the magnitude of there being a black woman as a major political party's presumptive nominee, as well as Georgia's superintendent of schools' decision to pull state funding for AP African American studies. Lastly, I've been so focused on the insanity of the 2024 Presidential cycle that I've kept this "open tab" in my mind (and laptop) on the brewing Georgia Elections Board scandal: did they hold a meeting and pass policy in violation of Georgia law? One watchdog group believes so.
I happen to think having Atlantan Chase Oliver on the presidential ballot as the Libertarian party candidate this November takes Georgia off the table for Biden/Harris. Hear why I believe the actions of Mayor Andre Dickens and the majority on Atlanta's city council have cost the President a key chunk of the state's grassroots liberal activists' support. I spoke with Mishael White, aiming to represent district 81 in the Georgia House, today. He's up against a MAGA ne'er do well named Noelle Kahaian, whose platform consists of Trumpian platitudes but little substantively to address any state legislative goals for the district. White, on the other hand, had plenty to discuss with me by way of tangible solutions for his district. Yesterday's guest, Seth Taylor, revealed one potential "GOP plant" disguised as a Democrat who won the party's Congressional primary for the 11th Congressional district. I spoke of two others in Oconee County, but wait: there's more.
Seth Taylor, a Fulton County Democratic Party captain and 2024 DNC delegate "outed" 11th Congressional district Democratic Party nominee Katy Stamper as a "GOP plant." If she isn't, she's at the very least an anti-trans "secure the border" moderate. Then again, she lives in Cherokee County, where a school board vice chair is also openly anti-trans and nothing was done about that ,so ... While discussing the Cherokee School Board, Seth pointed to a 2022 story in Pro Publica where another primary winner, Republican Noelle Kahaian, was instrumental in running off that school system's hired-but-never-employed DEI candidate. At least they're consistent. Oh ,and what of the two Oconee County "Democrats" (who aren't) running for county-level offices? Do local ad state Dems need to do a better job vetting (or finding) candidates? Lastly, Chase Oliver - and not RFK Jr. nor Donald Trump - secured the Libertarian party's Presidential nomination over The weekend, and I happen to think that's bad news for Biden/Harris in Georgia, at minimum. He's under 40 (37), gay, pro-choice, pro-pot, pro-"ceasefire now" oh and anti-"Cop City". Good luck convincing me that combination doesn't win over some of the same grassroots activists Democrats usually rely on.

Derral Eves is the Executive Producer and Co-Founder of "The Chosen" TV series, which was crowd-funded. He is a passionate entrepreneur who builds an audience to support his projects. He believes creating a shareable brand with a clear vision, mission, and purpose is crucial for success. Derral started in agency work in 1999, helping businesses be found online. He then shifted to creating content on YouTube, which has garnered over 91 billion views. He will also host the Vid Summit in October where content creators will learn the business side and help them leverage the opportunities in the content economy. Derral's future focuses on localizing "The Chosen" and getting it out to the world. We'd like to introduce Seth Taylor, the Chief Experience Officer of Angel Studios. When asked about the company's origins, Seth explains that the Harmond brothers began with a content filtering service but quickly expanded into producing new content. Angel Studios operates on a "pay it forward" system to finance its projects and allows viewers to purchase tickets for others to stream "The Chosen" show. Seth emphasizes that Angel Studios values comments and feedback to create fresh content that aligns with its mission to promote positive stories. The company engages its audience, supporters, and investors through a crowd-sourced strategy and asks two crucial questions: "Does this story spread positivity?" and "How much would you regret it if this movie never came to fruition?" In addition to "The Chosen," Angel Studios offers other programs and movies, including "Sound of Freedom," which was crowdsourced. Seth Taylor leads the product team in expanding the app's reach and handles marketing. The company has also designed digital collectibles for crowdfunding contributors, offering fans digital ownership of a specific scene's frame. Anyone can view the scene or frame by pausing on it. Derral Eves, the Executive Producer and Co-Founder of "The Chosen" TV series, was recently welcomed by Entrepreneur. During the interview, he shared his passion for entrepreneurship and his goal of creating an audience that would appreciate like-minded films. He emphasized the importance of engaging the audience and creating shareable, intentional content that defines the brand. Derral's vision was to translate his mission and purpose into the TV show, with the audience being the top priority. He believed that the viewers' engagement could become a social army that would promote the show and become an engine for its success. Derral started his journey in the agency in 1999, where he helped businesses be found online. He had a passion for creating commercials from a young age, but his path led him to YouTube, where he learned about embedding videos onto websites. He then began creating commercial content for over 800 clients, utilizing YouTube for web design. He eventually shifted his focus to creating content on YouTube that people would talk about, resulting in over 91 billion views of content he made. Derral's mission is to help other entrepreneurs leverage the creator economy before losing the opportunity. He is hosting the Vid Summit in October, which is the business side of the creator economy for content creators who post anywhere online. It is a platform to help budding entrepreneurs with content as a part of their strategy and to help them leverage the opportunity. Next Entrepreneur recently featured Seth Taylor, Chief Experience Officer at Angel Studios. Angel Studios was founded by the Harmond brothers, who created a content filtering service that allows users to remove inappropriate content from existing movies. However, they realized that producing new content and telling stories could be a more effective way to engage audiences. To raise funds, Angel Studios employs a "pay it forward" approach, wherein people can purchase tickets for others to watch their programs and movies. The Chosen was originally behind a paywall, but its popularity made it available to a larger audience through monetary donations that allowed others to stream it. Angel Studios collaborates with its audience through its crowd-sourced program, The Gild, which asks two questions: Does the story amplify light, and how disappointed would you be if this film was not made? Feedback and comments from the audience are used to create new content. Angel Studios is a platform that promotes stories of light and also offers collectibles to those who have crowd-funded. These collectibles provide digital ownership of a particular frame from a favorite scene, allowing users to share why they chose that scene and what it means. As Chief Experience Officer, Seth Taylor helps the product team to market their app and reach a wider audience. Hey Everyday Heroes beloved family, for the average guy money is rapidly disappearing these days! This is something I normally don’t do, spreading this kind of message but my heart is breaking seeing thousands of our aviation family being furloughed for who knows how long until they get their job back. If you need a way to rebuild your life, build a safety net for the future or just plain need more money, you gotta listen to my interview with Seth Taylor, who’s making thirty five thousand dollars a month, closing in on 40 K as we speak, selling Ebooks on Amazon that he doesn’t even write!Listen to Seth's story of how he went from working 60 to 70 hours a week, 7 days a week, to making an unbelievable amount of money every month, publishing Ebooks on Amazon, written by people who he hires on fiverr for very little money. He went from being a gas and oil pipeline inspector, with no home life, to him hiring writers, very inexpensively, to create Ebooks that are making the kind of money that you’ll hear about in his interview. I heard about Seth on another friends’ podcast when I was looking for aviation stories that my listeners would like. When I heard his story I knew immediately that this was someone that I needed to interview, especially because so many of our aviation brothers and sisters are getting laid off their jobs with no possibility of returning soon to an industry that will be massively shrunk for a long time. If you have questions, hit me up here since I bought the same system a few years ago to write and publish my own book, Fast Lane to Faith, but so far my results aren't quite like Seth's. But after interviewing him, I’m digging back into the recently updated Kindle Cash Flow system. How would something like this change your life or make early retirement a reality? I know, I know, this sounds crazy, but it’s true. If you're interested, here's my affiliate link where you can check out the program: https://kcf.clickfunnels.com/registration-page-cb-a?hop=botajet1But in the meantime I’ll let Seth tell you his story…

This episode was recorded in 2015. So much has changed since then, in the world, on this show, in Seth and I both. We had a volatile meeting at first caused by past triggers of mine which I didn't know I had and I certainly didn't know how to heal. This episode sparked a great friendship. MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: COACHING WITH ZAC GANDARA: I help you work through the Grief of Past Lives. Empowering YOU to let go and create your desired future. It functions much like talk therapy but with poignant salient goals and techniques to help YOU reprogram yourself for healing and growth. In episode #2 of the Misfit Faith podcast I focus on the issues of sin and guilt, reflecting on how the church often mythologizes certain activities by obsessive prohibitions which end up creating a kind of taboo allure. I am joined by Seth Taylor for a brief discussion of guilt and grace, after which I introduce a new segment called "Jason Needs a Minute." And lastly,I end the show by answering a listener's question about "Toxic Christianity."

Seth Taylor and I talk about pilgrimage and the expansion of sacred ground and spiritual understanding that comes with taking on such a sticky, stubborn unwanted behavior.

“The trap of high experiences, however they occur, is that you become attached to their memory and so you try to recreate them. These memories compel you to try to reproduce the high." -Ram Dass I’ve many times been referred to watch I AM NOT YOUR GURU, a documentary about Tony Robbins and his experiential retreats. I watched it right before recording with Seth, and it leads us into a discussion about my own thoughts on "teachings" and gurudom. Because of my preacher past as well as my future desires for my life, I have for quite some time now, run from the moniker of “teacher” or “guru.” No matter what, it seems to keep coming up, especially from those with a religious past. Well, I don’t want to be your teacher or your guru. Maybe as Seth suggests, it’s because of my ego holding me back from embracing who I am, or maybe it’s not who I am because it’s not who I want to be. I don’t believe in needing teachers or gurus. I believe that as we live our lives, there are guides that pop up when we need them. When we are in need of something, we search it out. It may come in many forms, relationships, books, or people. These guides may very well hold the title of “teacher” or “guru” but they are there for a time, and then meant to be let go of as we move on. In my opinion, the trap of many religions, gurus, teachers or experiences come in the "high" we get from experience with them. We then become addicts of the high and continue to go back to them for far too long. Chasing ladders and climbing minutia to try and appease the addiction. Seth comes from a far different place than I do and is really into a form of trauma therapy that he calls Energy Intuitive Healing and Rapid Transformation Therapy. It involves native American practice as well as traditional psychotherapy practices at an accelerated rate. At my best understanding, I consider it Meta-Physical Healing, with Mystic Practices, and Exorcism. None of which I am generally interested in for myself, mainly due to the amount of thought trauma it represents to me and the fear of finding myself climbing ladders to reach places or "Nirvana's" other people think I need to reach. I know you'll enjoy this conversation, it's a tough one. I felt like a misfit in church and spiritual community. Like I just didn't fit in. When I finally picked up the very heavy phone and finally called for help I found myself in a recovery group. After listening to the stories I realized these people are misfits too! Felt like "These are my people!" Felt like home. Yes, I can be myself here! I started to open up my vulnerable wounded heart. Truth is nobody is perfect. And some can have a very real addiction to relationships and how they unfold in the group dynamic. Some love the very healthy free flow of heart level of communication. Some are very ego driven and toxically unhealthy. I do believe in groups and the powerful healing that can happen there. So Seth Taylor and I unpack what can be healthy and unhealthy about the group dynamic.

Over the years I've had many authors, speakers and pastors as guests on the podcast. I've not endorsed anyone's work as much as I've been interested in them as people. Seth Taylor's book feels like redemption and my pilgrimage program is something I stand behind not only because Seth and I are friends but because of the research I myself have diligently pursued over the last 11 years of podcasting on the topics of addiction, theology, compulsive behavior, intimacy, psychology, social psychology, Church, spirituality and well-being. From mindfulness cognitive behavioral therapy, bodywork muscle memory locked in our physical being due to past traumas too biblical Christian theology that is rooted in the experienced, transformative faith of the desert fathers. A time before the Reformation before even Roman Catholicism. The way of early Christians that walked with Jesus and live by the Spirit. Are all included in this work. And while I still don't agree with every human being on everything I am endorsing Seth Taylor and his brother's work with my pilgrimage and the book feels like redemption. If you're serious about overcoming the most stickiest of addictions and the most stubborn of compulsive behaviors I highly recommend this work.

If the Gospel is good news, who's good news are we following? If we hunger and thirst for righteousness's isn't there the expectancy of transformation? Isn't it true that REAL Redemption transforms the heart, awakens the mind and that changes behavior over time?

MOUNTAIN HEART is newly reformed and reinvigorated, and in the studio this past few months, putting together their first recorded project from the new lineup. Josh Shilling and Aaron Ramsey remain from the previous active version of the boundary-pushing bluegrassers, as does Seth Taylor who joined in 2011. Recent additions include Molly Cherryholmes (of the legendary CHERRYHOLMES family band) and Jeff Partin. UNDERHILL ROSE has beautiful music, charming personalities, incredible harmonies and rippling success. Armed with a fresh sound, visually appealing performances and an extraordinary ability to blend a multitude of musical genres, Underhill Rose is a trio with a sound that clings to listeners and audience members alike. In the last three years, the all-female trifecta from Asheville, North Carolina has independently released two albums in the AMA Top 30, with The Great Tomorrow currently on the rise, gathering critical acclaim. WoodSongs Kid: Kentucky Drive is a newly formed Bluegrass Band consisting primarily of members who have known each other for less than six months. The band recently showcased at SPBGMA.
Seth and I were both pretty nervous to release this episode. Cause we get weird and share very personal things and mystical experiences we've both had in our lives. We're either drunk, sick, fucking nuts, or completely normal. My bet is on normal, but we were enjoying Crown Royal Rye and light beers. We chat briefly about Joel Osteen’s brand of happiness, spirit animals, seeing angels and mystic beings. Seth has some fascinating ideas of how and why we created a leader like Mark Driscoll, and why many of us hunger for ideologies and religions. There may be wounds we are medicating. I know I have many. It takes work to find the wound. But in finding the wound, we can find the healing so that we stop using alcohol, drugs, sex, porn, religion and other things to cover and medicate ourselves away from living lives of freedom. This episode is deep and weird, but therapeutically amazing. Seth is such an encourager, wisdom dropper. While I seem to just ramble on and on he has a knack for making sense of it all and helping me process what I am going through. "Barriers, religion, ideologies, and fear stop us from experiencing freedom, and if we can understand that the barriers, religion, and ideologies are a creation of the fear. We can then move more quickly away from the creations of the fear. We created these things (barriers, religion, ideologies) because we needed them. Some part of us needed it. All we need to do is come to the point that we don't need these things to medicate us anymore. Then all we need is the human experience, and we find that in human experience is God experience because he is in the middle of it."- Seth Taylor and Zac Gandara, Episode 031 Tickets for LA Show March 10, 2016: http://www.losingourreligion.org/lashow Join the CounterCulture Society: http://eepurl.com/bwqMWT Become a Producer: https://www.patreon.com/losingourreligion Find Out More: http://www.losingourreligion.org This Episode's Landing Page: http://www.losingourreligion.org/episodes/2016/2/23/031-lets-get-weird-mystical-experiences-and-confessions-seth-taylor-osteen-driscoll Twitter: https://twitter.com/LosingRReligion Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LosingOurReligion
"All religion is born from anxiety." Seth Taylor Seth is a crazy ass, mystic, shaman-like, wise, amazing guy. At least, he is to me. He was featured in EPISODE 014, one of your favorite episodes. He's also a husband, father, and author whom you can read on XXXChurch and his new book. Much of his story of healing has come through his struggle with pornography and his desire for freedom. In reading Seth's writings, you'll often hear him reminding us that porn, and other addictions are not the problem, they're the symptom. Seth has become a friend through our experience with him through Losing Our Religion. It's something I've grown grateful for while still being highly skeptical of the mysticism he embraces. We both divulge some very vulnerable things we are going through right now, and he has a natural wisdom that flows out of him that is arguably the most helpful therapy I have had in a long time. Midlife Crisis When you're going through a midlife crisis, when your marriage is starting to break down, when you just want to start life over. Religion is what used to hold us together, but what it often does is tear us apart. It causes us to avoid the deep issues inside of us, it leads us to suppress, developing coping mechanisms, by wearing masks, and arrogantly pushing others down, rather than digging deep within ourselves to do the healing work we need. Ego When ego leads the way we have big dreams, want to be rich, have celebrity status, and rule the world. But it comes with a significant cost and doesn't lead to joy and peace. Sometimes religion is what used to promote that for some of us, and for many it's what tore us and our real dreams down. When desires are led by ego, it leads to unhappiness, forceful living, not peace. Desire When you don't need anything, you can want anything. It's a state of being that dreams can come from a creative place, free from ego, and selfish desire. A place where you can create without demonstrative driving forces running over others, and hurting people. You can, instead of forcing things into reality, begin to live in the now that doesn't need anything else. Where you get to work from rest instead of resting from work. In this peaceful place, real desires can really begin to manifest rather than be forcefully taken. "And we cannot be honest unless we recognize that we have to live in the world etsi deus non daretur [as if God did not exist]."- Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Letters and Papers from Prison, 360-361) Join the CounterCulture Society: http://eepurl.com/bwqMWT Become a Producer: https://www.patreon.com/losingourreligion Find Out More: http://www.losingourreligion.org This Episode's Landing Page: http://www.losingourreligion.org/episodes/2016/2/16/episode-030-midlife-crisis-ego-desire-part-1-seth-alan-taylor Twitter: https://twitter.com/LosingRReligion Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LosingOurReligion

This may very well be the most transparent and meaningful episode we've recorded yet. (At least in regards to my own experience of losing my religion.) A journey into the depths of my own past hurts, current fears, and repressed anger that I am still endeavoring to be free from. Owning my own shit and slowly learning how to cast off the net of religion. By which I grow continually free of anger I've held against the ones that introduced me to the religion. Growing to love all people equally is not a task as a human I may ever reach. Certainly not one I can reach alone. Seth, a self-proclaimed Christian Mystic shows me a path. But it's not a new one. I've been shown it before. Many times before. But I am finally getting to a point of suffering to take the deeper journey onto this path. This episode you have the opportunity to be a fly on the wall to some of my own revelations and desires. Imagine you're the fly over looking our conversation from my therapists bookcase. But instead of crying, we're are drinking! In this episode of DXP “we”—Jason and the listening audience—are granted privileged access into a private therapy session between Christian and porn-addict recovery specialist Seth Taylor (tackling such sensitive topics as “How does Christian know he’s actually clinically addicted?”; “How often is so often that it becomes a problem”; and “Masturbation-related injuries: what causes them and how they can be avoided in the future”). Semi-kidding aside, we were thrilled to have Seth on the show: he’s an author, mystic, and overall deep thinker who brings a whole lot of humanity to the table as we discuss spirituality, sexuality, and addiction (Jason imagines that this is precisely what Jesus would have done). Enjoy!
