Welcome to episode 68.1 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels: The Platform Classic. On this episode, Dennis, Jay, and Darth Taxus take a look at the biggest race of the year as Yeager's brother arrives on the Colossus for "The Platform Classic."  This is a full discussion of all plot points of the episode. The Platform Classic "The Platform Classic" begins with Yeager responding to a summons from Captain Doza. Yeager's brother, Marcus Speedstar, has arrived on the Colossus for the biggest race of the year: the Platform Classic. Despite Doza's request, Yeager initially refuses to compete against Marcus. However, he soon changes his mind. Marcus, though, has his own issues, and when a Guavian Death Gang arrives, the stakes for the race are raised. On this review of Resistance, the Scoundrels discuss the similarity between Tam and Marcus's stories. They also take a look at some of the elements from other corners of the Star Wars galaxy including "The Five Sabers" and hyperfuel.
