In our passage today we see a struggle for authority...the questioning of authority. Jesus...after all that you have done, all the trouble you have stirred up in Galilee..and now you come in here into the temple and disrupt our traditions and our way of doing things...By whose authority do you do this!! The question of authority isn’t just for the pharisees but it is for each of us as well!

When Jesus starts showing himself fully in our lives, the authoritative king, we often fight back as he presses into every area of our lives to begin transformation. What do we do when we feel ourselves fighting back?
This week, Rev. Stone brings us a message based on the events in Mark 11 and 12. The authority of Jesus is questioned and the parable of the tenants. The context of these two stories of authority and unbelief are just as relevant today as they were in Jesus' day. Where do you stand with Jesus?

We continue to draw closer to the cross as Jesus spends his final week coming and going from Jerusalem during the Passover week. After his cleansing of the temple he has obviously angered the religious elite, and they--again--try and trap him in his words. He catches them in their own trap and then tells a parable that clearly implicates them, angering them even more. Pastor Warren teaches through the final verses of Mark chapter 11 and into the first section of chapter 12 in this message.
