Do you know who you really are in Christ? In this Sunday's message, "The Real You is the New You", Pastor Josh unpacks the powerful truth of 2 Corinthians 5:17—that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. God is good, His Word is true, and it's in His Word that we discover both who He is and who we truly are. Our identity is no longer shaped by our past, but defined by what God declares is true. In Christ, the real you is made new. Recorded at Hope Church in Springfield, MO.

You Were Made to Worship God
What would change if you saw your work as a place of worship and communion with God? This Sunday in his sermon, "A Biblical Theology of Work", Pastor Diego unpacked what Scripture says about how God designed us for work—not as a burden, but as a way to reflect His nature and walk closely with Him. When we invite Him into our work, we discover that He is with us in everything: what we do, where we do it, and who we do it with. As we do all things unto Him, our work becomes an offering—an act of worship and connection. We don't have to separate our faith from our work—God wants to meet us right there. Recorded at Hope Church in Springfield, MO.

Greater Than Part 4
What does it look like to live sober minded and presence centered in a world full of noise and distraction? In this message, Pastor Steve unpacks Psalm 27 and the kind of life that flows from covenantal intimacy with God—a life where His presence is the goal, the anchor, and the reward. David stands as a powerful example of someone who pursued God with a whole heart, but this invitation is for all of us: to lay down our lives, allow the Lord to reset our hearts, and return to what truly fulfills. When we live with clear minds and centered hearts, we're freed to love fully and walk in the reverence and beauty of a life wholly for Him. Recorded at Hope Church in Springfield, MO.

In an address given at Hope Church in Richmond, Virginia to church leaders, Tommy emphasizes a unique approach to leadership that centers on rest as the foundation. Contrary to the typical notion that rest follows productivity, the script highlights the biblical perspective of rest preceding work, using examples such as the Sabbath and various scripture passages. The speaker outlines five elements in this 'rhythm of leadership': rest, clarity, character, connection, and returning to rest. They stress the importance of leading from a place of rest to achieve clarity, maintain strong character, and foster meaningful connections. The ultimate goal is to transform leadership and church culture by giving people permission to live from rest.Love the show? Subscribe, rate, review, and share! http://tommythompson.org

In this Sunday's message, "Freedom Through Forgiveness", Pastor Josh shared how the power to forgive flows from the staggering truth that Jesus paid the ultimate price to cancel our debt. Because we've been forgiven so completely, we're compelled to live with tender hearts—ready to release others as we've been released. The revelation of what Jesus has done for us softens our hearts and leads us into the kind of forgiveness that brings true freedom. Who might Jesus be inviting you to release today? What do you do when offense finds its way into your heart? In his message, "Freedom from Offense", Pastor Josh challenged us to reflect on how we respond in those moments. Left unchecked, offense can lead to bitterness and deception, distorting our relationships and our perspective. We were reminded that it's our responsibility to guard our hearts, stay tender toward one another, and choose to see both people and God through the lens of truth. Real freedom comes when we fix our eyes on Jesus and the cross—our unchanging standard in a world of shifting emotions and opinions. Recorded at Hope Church in Springfield, MO.

Who reigns in your life? This Sunday, in his message "Who Reigns?", Drew Williams unpacks how sin and death enslave us through lies, shame, and broken cycles — and how serving sin allows death to rule over us. But Jesus came to break the power of sin and death once and for all. When we let Christ reign, His truth sets us free from the lies that keep us bound, and we step into true freedom, grace, and righteousness. This message is an invitation to let Him reign fully in our lives — and to allow Him to receive His full reward in us. Recorded at Hope Church in Springfield, MO.

Easter at Hope Church - 4_20_25 by Hope Church Utah
What if death isn't the end, but just the beginning? In his Easter message, "The Resurrection Changes Everything", Pastor Josh unpacks how Jesus' resurrection rewrites every story. He is alive, He is worthy, and His victory over the grave changes everything—past, present, and future. Jesus has broken the chains of fear, conquered the grave, and promised that what God did in Him, He will do in all creation. He is not only alive—He is the Resurrection, and His empty tomb is the promise that death doesn't get the final word. Recorded at Hope Church in Springfield, MO.
In this Easter sermon, Pastor Matt Sturdivan of Hope Church explores the meaning of Easter and introduces a new series called "Unshakable Faith." He begins by recounting the events of the first Easter morning, referencing Matthew 28:5, where an angel tells the women at Jesus' tomb not to be afraid because Jesus has risen. Pastor Matt then outlines three key elements of unshakable faith: 1. When we're anxious or afraid, God gives us peace. He cites John 20:19-21, where Jesus appears to His disciples and says, "Peace be with you." 2. When we're weak, God gives us power. The pastor references Isaiah 40:29 and 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 to illustrate this point. 3. When we're uncertain, God gives us direction. He uses Proverbs 3:5-6 and James 1:5 to emphasize God's guidance. The sermon concludes with an explanation of how to find unshakable faith by building one's life on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ. Pastor Matt presents the gospel message, explaining that we are all sinners in need of salvation, which is available through faith in Jesus. He invites listeners to trust in Christ as their Savior and Lord, offering a simple prayer for those ready to make this decision.

Is He at the center? In this Sunday's message, "The Table of Abiding," Pastor Josh invited us to respond to Jesus' invitation to draw near and abide. Abiding is a life fueled by hunger for more of Him, knowing that apart from Him, we can do nothing. His Word promises that when we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. He's knocking on our hearts, and the choice is ours—will we draw near and let Him capture our hearts? Will we abide and make Him the center of everything? Recorded at Hope Church in Springfield, MO.
Hope Church Utah - Habakkuk - We Live By Faith - March 23, 2025 by Hope Church Utah
This Sunday, Pastor Steve spoke on "Travailing Prayer," and the Lord cracked us open. Travailing prayer is about moving beyond a casual interest in God into an authentic, relentless hunger for more of Him. It's an invitation to make real adjustments in our lives — to align with what God is doing right now. There's a grace available to go deeper, but the way forward isn't through performance or striving — it's through prayer. Not the polished, rehearsed kind, but a raw, desperate cry for more of His presence and power. Are we willing to accept His invitation and be truly awakened? Jerry Roberts has been an associate pastor at Hope Church for nearly 26 years. This episode was recorded on his last full weekday before retirement, and pastor Matt asked Jerry to reflect on his life and ministry. Growing up in Fort Worth, Jerry came to faith at a young age but didn't fully commit to following Jesus until later in life. His background in business and psychology, coupled with a heart for evangelism, prepared him for a unique role in ministry. Throughout the conversation, Jerry emphasizes the importance of obedience to God's Word and the courage to share one's faith. He recalls numerous instances of witnessing to others, from door-to-door evangelism to chance encounters on airplanes. Jerry's advice for believers is simple yet profound: "Do what God wants you to do today" and walk by faith, not by sight. Jerry draws inspiration from 1 Peter 4:2, which says, "You won't spend the rest of your life chasing your own desires but you will be anxious to do the will of God" (Living Bible). He encourages listeners to make a daily commitment to follow Jesus, regardless of feelings or circumstances. As he concludes his time on staff at Hope Church, Jerry's life serves as a testament to the impact of faithful obedience and a willingness to be used by God.
What if you're not just called — but chosen for something greater? This Sunday, Pastor Josh shared his message, "A Royal Priesthood: Built Together, Set Apart," unpacking how 1 Peter 2 reveals our true identity as living stones, being built into a spiritual house for God's glory. We aren't meant to blend in — we are a royal priesthood, set apart to minister to God, offer our lives as sacrifices, and proclaim who He is to the world. This isn't just a title — it's a calling to live radically different, reflecting Jesus in everything we do. Recorded at Hope Church in Springfield, MO.

God has blessed us abundantly—not just to receive, but to give. This Sunday, Pastor Gary reminded us of this simple yet powerful truth: as His sons and daughters, we are called to say “YES!” to using the gifts, resources, and calling He has placed inside of us. Whether it's praying for healing, sharing the gospel, or serving in the local church, we are meant to pour out what He has poured into us. God never runs out, and when we step into His plan, we live from inheritance, not limitation. How is God calling you to say yes and step into His purpose for your life? Recorded at Hope Church in Springfield, MO.

But on Sundays, Devin trades the BBQ pit for the pulpit at Hope Church, the non-denominational congregation where he preaches.
