Rome is the historic center of the Catholic Church where the popes through the centuries continue to profess the Faith as handed down from the Apostles. They are our models and pillars that we cling to. We do not know when the end of time will occurs, but we entrust ourselves to the Church and authentic papal teachings perpetually, while making ourselves ready for the constant struggle against the temptations of the world.
Mark Francis sits down with Tim Sanford and John Van Drunen to explore our calling as believers to continually grow in our knowledge and understanding of God. Together, they discuss how FBC provides tools and resources for stages of the Christian journey — and how those resources are now more clearly identified to meet you right where you are in your walk with Christ.Check out the Spiritual Growth Pathways diagram:https://storage2.snappages.site/C94C39/assets/images/21147547_1920x1080_2500.png

There are good and bad angels, but today we are going to talk about the origin and goals of Bad Angels. Satan himself is an angel who fell from God's presence in heaven. Bad angels are spirit beings that don't have a physical body, but that doesn't make them any less real. We must recognize the enemy's schemes because if we remain ignorant, we will fall prey to his tactics.
By William Bradford - This is the second part of a mid-week Bible study series covering Christ's fifth discourse in the book of Matthew. Continuing in the section about woes to the scribes and Pharisees.
The priests are the human instruments working through the grace of the Church, as God ordained. What the angels cannot do, the priests ordained for God can. The priests carry out the same mission to the people of the world as Christ granted to St. Paul and the Apostles through His sanctification. They are entrusted not just to keep the traditions of the Church as bestowed through the teachings of the Apostles, but to perpetuate the Faith through their sacred ministry.

David and Jonathan have one of the sweetest relationships recorded in the Bible. But in 1 Samuel 20, that relationship faces its darkest trial when King Saul tries to assassinate both men. In today's episode, we return to Paul's sermon series from the archives, David: A Matter of the Heart. In this message, Paul reveals the motivations of Saul, David, and Jonathan, and uses this story as a mirror to reveal our motivations and struggles. To hear more sermons from Paul, visit PaulTripp.com/Sermons.
Pastor Gregg shared that in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches that true righteousness flows from a transformed heart, not just outward actions.
Hardship has a way of testing what we really believe. In this episode, Pastor Doug explores how trials can actually deepen our faith instead of destroying it. We all play favorites, but when we favor some, we dishonor others, dishonor God, and contradict the gospel. Only by seeing how Jesus favored us over himself, can we move past favoritism and love others fully.

Our Lady's conception is the beginning of our redemption. Her coming was prefigured throughout salvation history. Throughout the Old Testament, we can see how God showed her coming as a preparation for the great coming of His Son, Christ Our Lord.
As Jesus concludes this series of parables, he teaches that the kingdom of heaven is more valuable than anything we could own or lose, and that the kingdom will bring judgment that is unavoidable apart from Him. He also teaches that His disciples have treasure to share with others.

Welcome to Christ Community's Online Service! In Acts 16 we see Paul's second missionary journey—and one of the clearest pictures of what it means to live a Spirit-led life. The Holy Spirit isn't just a concept, but the very presence of God guiding us in real and personal ways. In this message, we explore how Paul created space to listen, followed even when God said “no,” kept moving forward in faith, and discovered open doors he never expected. Learn how these same principles can shape your walk with Jesus today. What fears or ambitions keep you from fully submitting your life to God's will? In his sermon, “Stop Playing God,” Pastor Josiah shows us how James 4:11-17 calls us to humble ourselves in full submission before God. As Christians we need to stop criticizing our brothers and sisters, stop pretending we control tomorrow, and start entrusting every part of our lives to the Lord's will. Our lives are but a vapor, and at the end of the day, only what is done in Christ will last. Because God alone is the final authority, we must quit playing God and joyfully submit our lives to Him.

Self-control is not about willpower but about surrendering our desires and habits to Christ, allowing the Holy Spirit to shape our lives. It reflects spiritual maturity, protects our witness, and flows from grace-filled surrender rather than personal striving.
Any time a Christians mentions the dangers and consequences of living a sinful lifestyle, it doesn't take long to hear someone proclaim Matthew 7:1, "Judge not least you be judged" or John 8:7 "You without sin cast the first stone." They try to use these versus to silent their critics or anyone who doesn't celebrate their life choices. In this message we examine John 8 and Jesus' encounter with the women caught in adultery and answer those who try and use this passage to justify their sins. We also examine the danger of Christians standing on truth without the balance of grace to reach a dying and lost culture. In this story, we have the perfect example to follow if we hope to open the eyes of a blinded and lost generation. There's more to Jesus than most people think—and it might not be what you expect. This week, Pastor Matthew Stephen Brown reveals three powerful but often-overlooked truths about Jesus: why his miracles didn't always have the impact you'd expect, how he was more than just a teacher or prophet, and the kind of people he was most drawn to.Whether you're exploring faith, walking through doubt, or just curious—this message gives you space to reflect, ask better questions, and take a real look at what Jesus was all about.--Support content like this and the vision of Sandals Church at http://sandalschurch.com/support/Join our email list for content updates: http://sandalschurch.com/subscribeDownload the Sandals Church App: http://sandalschurch.com/app/If you have questions, need prayer or want to get connected, please email us anytime at online@sandalschurch.com!

The first said to him, ‘I have bought a field, and I must go out and see it. Please have me excused.' 19 And another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to examine them. We were created for community because at the heart of God himself is togetherness. From Genesis to Acts, we see that loneliness fractures us, but in Christ, God is reconciling us back to himself and to one another. This message explores the tensions the early church held—Word and Spirit, gathering and scattering, holiness and hospitality, communal and missional—and invites us to live them out at our own tables today.Check out the sermon on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or bridge.tv/sermons.Support the show
Acts 16:6-15 6 And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. 7 And when they had come up to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them. 8 So, passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas. 9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them. 11 So, setting sail from Troas, we made a direct voyage to Samothrace, and the following day to Neapolis,12 and from there to Philippi, which is a leading city of the district of Macedonia and a Roman colony. We remained in this city some days. 13 And on the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to the riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had come together. 14 One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul.15 And after she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us. Key Words: Holy Spirit, Allow, Call, Preach, Prayer, Open, Heart, Baptize Keystone Verse: The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul. (Acts 16:14b) Download Bulletin
