Out of His compassion for crowds of people, Jesus multiplies His ministry through His disciples in order to reach more people. He equips those disciples, provides for their needs, and teaches them to be honest with unbelievers about God’s coming judgment.
Why does life sometimes get harder after we repent—and what is God doing in those moments? What does true repentance look like—and what does it lead to? In his sermon, “True Repentance & Divine Deliverance,” centered on 1 Samuel 7:2–17, Pastor Josiah shared how Israel turned from idolatry and returned to the Lord with a repentant heart. Yet, just as they turned back to God, new trouble arose. But God, faithful to His covenant and powerful to save, delivered His people—not because of their strength, but through the intercession of His appointed mediator, Samuel. This passage reminds us that while repentance may invite hardship, it always places us under the care of a God who is faithful to forgive, fights for us, and never fails to be there for us.

"God's Kingdom: Veiled and Vast"Mark 4:26-34Having recently completed our series “None Like Jesus” let's continue to “Behold Him” by embarking on a new study through the Gospel of Mark. Mark's Gospel is the shortest of the four Gospels and it is action-packed from start to finish – as evidenced by the word “immediately” used over 40 times. Mark wrote to believers, probably Roman believers, who were no strangers to persecution. And he wanted to disciple his readers to be strong in their faith by encouraging them to look to their Mighty Messiah, the Son of God, who remained steadfastly faithful even while becoming their Suffering Servant who died for them. Mark's Gospel is a call to all believers to fearlessly “Follow Jesus” because they can trust Him completely.

By Ryan Hall - Do we truly believe that Jesus Christ is the living Head of the Church? This is a fundamental question for any Christian to consider. The conviction that Christ is the Head is a fundamental article of faith. And for the Just, we are called to walk by this article of faith. In Proverbs 29:18, it's

There are many reasons why, both physically and spiritually. We review the Scriptures that itemize God's benefits.
By Dan Lausted - In a culture that increasingly questions the necessity—and even the value—of fathers, God's Word offers a radically different message: fathers matter deeply.
