The dating pool is "trash" right now for our single young black women. Chelsea Jade & Sassy Brei interviewed two young black men by the name of Daniel and Tyrike to get a glimpse of their mind state. While the title of this episode is "Sike Nah" questions asked weren't surface level and required detailed responses. Ladies, would y'all agree that these are all questions that we want and need answers to?Support the show

Throughout our lives, women are directed and instructed on how they "need" to be, dress, talk, walk and look to "keep a man" with the hope of keeping him around satisfied and happy enough to propose marriage. Girls learn how to dress sexy (but not too much), raise a famiily, keep a home, prepare tasty meals - all with the goal of securing a husband to take care of.But when do black men get socialized to take care of women and prove themselves to be husband-worthy? What demands do black women make, what things are black boys and young men taught they need to do and be in order to attract a quality wife? Why are demands placed on women to trot out their "wife" skills on demand, but black men don't even want to pay for a dinner date? The double standard is obvious, and we're going to discuss the finer nuances of it...something I think most women have never even considered.
