Nachdem Moviebreaks hauseigene Totenbeschwörer Thomas und DingDong in der letzten Hirntot-Folge mit 28 Years Later einen Ausflug in ein mittelalterlich-endzeitliches Großbritannien unternommen haben, heißt es nun vive la france... oder sollte es eher mort-vivant la france heißen?! Wie dem auch sei, jedenfalls haben sich die beiden für die vierte Folge den französischen Zombiefilm MadS vorgeknöpft. Ein aus dem Jahr 2024 stammendes Werk, das gleich durch zwei Besonderheiten aus der Masse des oftmals doch recht ähnlichen (untoten) Einheitsbreis heraussticht. Denn erstens sind die "Zombies" hier ein wenig anders drauf als man es vermutlich gewohnt ist und zweitens handelt es sich bei MadS um einen sogenannten One-Take- bzw. One-Shot-Film. Sprich einen Film, der an einem Stück gedreht wurde und somit ohne Schnitte auskommt. Da soll doch noch mal jemand sagen, dass Zombiefilme alle gleich wären. In diesem Sinne: Viel Spaß

Happy Friday! This video is the first of its kind from me. I've done one-takes before, but never such a long one with so many chapters and fan interactions intermixed with the bars. I feel like there's a special magic to running one camera continuously for such an extended improvisational session— it reminds me of sleepovers we would have as kids where after talking in depth about the big questions for hours someone would say, “yo how'd we end up talking about this???” and then we'd all retrace our steps: “you said this, and that made me think that… oh yeah! then that led to this…” etc. I get a similar feeling watching this one take; by the time I'm watching my final sign off I'm asking “wowwww how'd I get all the way to this point??” Well, I freestyled my way through it of course
