Ron confesses to a hamstring-cramping, sink-clogging vomit explosion after beer, pasta, mushrooms, and double-bowl vanilla ice cream overload. Opie and the crew roast marriage smells, Joe Rogan's three-week vacation, and why natural scents ruin romance. Raw, savage, laugh-out-loud chaos—your boring holiday stories just got obliterated. Hit play if you can handle the truth about post-Christmas disasters.

Our S&xMas episode looks at two provocative, controversial, and not very sex-positive works made by aging auteurs after a long hiatus, Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut (1999) and Paul Verhoeven's Elle (2016). Join us as we trace Tom Cruise's all-American odyssey of sexual paranoia and Isabelle Huppert's very European journey away from sex with men, asking such important questions as "Is Paul Verhoeven the most masochistic male feminist director?" and "Is there a significance to Christmas in these movies beyond irony?" And in Fear and Moviegoing in Toronto, just one Naruse, Wife (1953), another uninspiring look at marriage that extends a surprising amount of sympathy toward Ken Uehara, the Japanese George Brent. Many women wonder what actually makes a man see someone as wife material instead of a short-term option. Send us a textThank you, Sabina Nawaz, for helping me find today's guest to finish up Season 6 on the Quarterback DadCast! So, what if the best leadership training happens at your dinner table? We sit down with Dane Groeneveld—dad of four, CEO of LEAD3R, and host of The Future of Teamwork—to explore how raising kids, facing anxiety head‑on, and choosing curiosity over control can transform both families and companies. From eight schools across Australian mining towns to a newborn and teens under one roof, Dane shares the practices that keep his home grounded and his teams energized. We dig into the messy middle: choosing therapy when a high‑achieving teen hits an anxious wall, stepping away from rugby to protect mental health, and having brave conversations about consent and sex without panic or shame. You'll hear why the “car ride home” is the most dangerous coaching moment, how IFS “parts” language reduces shame and opens learning, and why stoic patience beats heat‑of‑the‑moment reactions. Expect tangible tools: the “I love watching you play” reset, TED questions that unlock specifics, and permission‑based coaching that turns advice into collaboration. On the work front, Dane goes on offense against the myth of high performance at all costs. He lays out a model for healthy teams that still deliver results but no longer leave human wreckage behind. The three values guiding both his home and company—be human‑centered, be pioneering, and share in success—show up in simple, repeatable moves: assume positive intent, learn by building, and spread the win. We also trade stories about body language meltdowns on the golf course, 2 a.m. puppy chaos, and the quiet power of leaders who remove fear and instill confidence. If you're a parent, coach, or manager who wants stronger relationships and better outcomes without the burnout, this conversation is your playbook. Listen, share with a friend who needs a reframe on performance and parenting, and leave a quick review so more dads and leaders can find the show.Support the showPlease don't forget to leave us a review wherever you consume your podcasts! Proverbs 31 is often misunderstood. It's either admired from a distance or dismissed as unattainable. In this episode of the Neue Thing Podcast, we reframe this familiar passage, not as a checklist for wives, but as a portrait of a person marked by wisdom. Proverbs 31 reveals the difference between knowledge and wisdom: wisdom is truth lived out in how we speak, serve, and love. This chapter is an invitation to right living, rooted in humility, faithful service, and contentment in God's pleasure. As Proverbs comes to a close, it brings us back to where it all began: the fear of the LORD as the foundation of a wise life.WHAT IS NEUE THING?Neue Thing is a non-profit ministry, founded by Cherie Wagner, that exists to equip women with the Word of God. Cherie's life-long passion is two-fold: knowing Jesus Christ and making Him known. Author of Found On My Knees, Awake O Sleeper, Rest, Hope, Psalms for Life, and Knowing Your Name, Cherie writes Bible studies for women that will encourage them to know and believe God's Word, equip them to live it, and empower them to take it and transform this generation for Jesus Christ.CONNECT Website: https://neuething.org/Email Subscription link:https://neuething.us2.list-manage.com/subscribe?Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/neuethinginc/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neuethingGive to Neue Thing: https://neuething.org/give/RESOURCESProverbs: The Wise, The Fool, The WickedKnowing Your NameFound On My Knees: The Journey from Brokenness to BlessingAwake O Sleeper: EphesiansRest: 30 Days of Exploring God's Invitation to RestHope: Tethered to an Unwavering GodPsalms for Life

It's Christmas, which means two things: Kristin's wearing a periodic-table tree shirt, and I'm reminiscing about the worst cafeteria meal in VA history (“brown meal,” may it never return). But the real adventure this week? Our kid suddenly developed mysterious brown patches on her skin, smooth, painless, and deeply unsettling for two parents whose medical degrees contain zero pediatrics. Cue the panic Googling, the advice nurse, and the pediatrician casually wiping it off with an alcohol pad like a magic trick. Then we dive headfirst into microbiology, where we rediscover that: Anaerobes “can't breathe fresh air,” Encapsulated bacteria are the gym bros of the microbe world, andnd urease-positive organisms somehow got saddled with the mnemonic P CHUNKS. Takeaways: Terra Firma-Forme Dermatosis: The completely benign, extremely weird skin condition that wipes right off with alcohol. Holiday Clinic Life: Why no one wants their eyes dilated on Christmas Eve (except maybe for the sparkly lights). Anaerobe Mayhem: “Can't breathe fresh air” and other microbiology mnemonics that should probably be illegal. Encapsulated Bacteria: The microscopic linebackers that even your spleen has strong opinions about. Sometimes things don't appear the way they seem. And the Charity Beallis case — from day one — hasn't felt right. When the story first broke, it looked like a clear-cut domestic violence tragedy. Abused mother loses custody to her convicted abuser. Found dead with her twin children the next day. But the more we dug into the court records, police reports, and documented history, the more complicated this picture became. Charity Beallis may have been a victim. Court records support that — her estranged husband Randy Beallis pled guilty to domestic battery after allegedly choking her in front of their six-year-old twins. She told a state senator she feared for her life. But there's another side to this story that nobody's talking about. Charity had her own arrests. Her own documented history of violence. She lost custody of her first son to her own father after a court found he would be "in grave danger" in her care. And in 2021, according to a police report, her father told officers that Charity admitted to shooting Randy's previous wife Shawna — who died from a gunshot wound in 2012 in a death ruled suicide. Now her father is contradicting that statement. The evidence from 2012 was destroyed years ago. And Charity can't answer any questions because she's dead. In this video, we go through the full documented record — the marriages, the arrests, the custody battles, the 2021 police report, and what it might mean for this case. We're not drawing conclusions. We're laying out the facts and asking the questions that need to be asked. Two women connected to Dr. Randall Beallis are now dead under strikingly similar circumstances. The truth is more complicated than any headline. #CharityBeallis #RandallBeallis #ShawnaBeallis #BonanzaArkansas #TrueCrime #ArkansasCrime #ColdCase #DomesticViolence #SebastianCounty #JusticeForTheChildren Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Another Hollywood tragedy, I need to leave early today, success is around the corner, a fight that nobody won, revisiting Greene, a brilliant Branzi, news snippets, and Merry Christmas. Stuff mentioned: Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua (December 19, 2025), The Rich Man's Wife (1996), The Caretaker (2025), 12 to Midnight (2024), 10 to Midnight (1983), Olivia Nuzzi American Canto (2025), and Carlos Lozada "Olivia Nuzzi, Karine Jean-Pierre and Eric Trump Have All Written the Same Book" (The New York Times, December 16, 2025 https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/16/opinion/olivia-nuzzi-karine-jean-pierre-eric-trump.html).
How many of you feel like the clock is ticking? You want marriage. You want a family. You want children. And yet, when you look around at the dating pool, you feel the pressure of time and the frustration of settling for less than you deserve. In this episode, I speak directly to the women who come to me every single day — successful, beautiful, accomplished women who are tired of attracting emotionally unavailable, narcissistic, or beneath-their-level men. Women who have tried everything: therapy, retreats, coaching, matchmaking — and still haven't gotten the result they want. I'm here to tell you this: your age does not disqualify you, and your desire does not make you unrealistic. This is not about chasing men. This is about becoming the woman who naturally attracts the right one. If you're done wasting time, done ignoring red flags, and ready to get what you actually want — this episode is for you.
In Grand Junction, Colorado, real estate developer Alan Helmick is found shot in his home and his car later set on fire. Investigators focus on his wife, Miriam Helmick, after a hand-delivered threatening greeting card is traced to her by surveillance footage. Additional evidence, including incriminating online searches, forged checks, and a ballistic match to a decades-old bullet, points to motive and opportunity. Prosecutors say Miriam stood to gain financially, and forensic work helped secure her conviction for first-degree murder and a lengthy prison sentence. The case shows how small pieces of physical and digital evidence can connect to form a compelling case.

Brian Walshe has been convicted of first-degree murder in the death of his wife Ana Walshe. After just six hours of deliberation, a Norfolk County jury found the fifty-year-old Cohasset man guilty of premeditated murder, making this one of the rare cases where a conviction was secured without the victim's body ever being recovered. Ana Walshe was a thirty-nine-year-old mother of three who disappeared on New Year's Day 2023. Prosecutors presented devastating digital evidence including Google searches from Brian's devices for best way to dispose of a body, hacksaw best tool to dismember, and how long for someone to be missing to inherit. Surveillance footage showed him purchasing a hacksaw, Tyvek suit, and cleaning supplies at Lowe's on New Year's Day. Investigators recovered blood-stained items from dumpsters including Ana's Hunter boots, pieces of carpet with her DNA, and a hacksaw that tested positive for her blood. But this was not Brian Walshe's first calculated crime. Years earlier, he allegedly stole nearly eight hundred thousand dollars from his own father during a home refinance deal and then vanished for over a decade. When Dr. Thomas Walshe died in 2018, he left Brian nothing in his will but his best wishes. According to court filings, Brian got into his father's home before anyone else, allegedly destroyed the will, and convinced probate court he was the rightful heir. He drained at least two hundred fifty thousand dollars from bank accounts and sold off a Salvador Dalí painting, a Miró, oriental rugs, and jewelry before the scheme was stopped. One longtime family friend wrote that Brian had been diagnosed as a sociopath at Austen Riggs psychiatric hospital. The pattern is impossible to ignore: forge, destroy, manipulate, and take what is not yours. Brian Walshe now faces mandatory life in prison without parole. #BrianWalshe #AnaWalshe #WalsheVerdict #GuiltyVerdict #TrueCrime #MurderTrial #CohassetMurder #JusticeForAna #FirstDegreeMurder #TrueCrimeNews #ThomasWalshe #InheritanceFraud #CrimePodcast #TrueCrimeYouTube #MassachusettsCrime #NoBodyMurder #LifeInsuranceMurder #TrueCrimeCommunity #CriminalJustice #CourtroomVerdict Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Brian Walshe was sentenced today to life in prison without parole for the murder of his wife Ana Walshe. Judge Diane Freniere called his actions "barbaric and incomprehensible" before handing down the maximum sentence on all counts — life for murder, plus consecutive terms for misleading police and illegally disposing of Ana's body. Ana Walshe, a 39-year-old mother of three and real estate executive, was last seen alive on New Year's Eve 2022 at the couple's Cohasset, Massachusetts home. Her body has never been recovered. What investigators did find was a digital trail that sealed Brian's fate: Google searches for "how to dispose of a body," "hacksaw best tool to dismember," and "can you be charged with murder without a body" — all made in the hours after Ana's presumed death. Surveillance footage captured Brian shopping for hacksaws, Tyvek suits, and cleaning supplies on New Year's Day. He paid cash. Wore a mask and gloves. Then he disposed of evidence in dumpsters across the region, including one near his mother's apartment. Investigators recovered Ana's blood-soaked belongings, a hacksaw with bone fragments, and pieces of carpet with her DNA embedded in the fibers. Brian never took the stand. His defense called zero witnesses. The jury deliberated six hours and returned a guilty verdict on first-degree murder. Today, Ana's sister Aleksandra delivered a devastating victim impact statement, telling the court her family lives with "an unbearable emptiness." The Walshe children — ages 2, 4, and 6 when their mother was killed — are now in state custody and will grow up without her. This video breaks down the full case: the evidence, the motive, the trial, and what happens next as Brian Walshe's conviction heads to automatic appeal. Justice was served. But for Ana's family, the grief never ends. #BrianWalshe #AnaWalshe #WalsheTrial #TrueCrime #MurderTrial #JusticeForAna #LifeWithoutParole #CohassetMurder #TrueCrimeNews #WalsheSentencing Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Scripture never explicitly tells us where Adam and Eve's son, Cain, got his wife, but let's think about it.

Hello to you listening in Jakarta, Indonesia!Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds (and a bit more) for Motivate Your Monday and your host, Diane Wyzga. As the old ones say, “If we are not grateful for what we have in this present moment, what makes us think we will be happy with more?” Maybe it's true and maybe it isn't but long ago and far away there lived a man in a small country village. He had everything he had ever asked for: friends, livelihood, wife, family - and yet and yet something was stirring in him: Looking around he asked himself, Is this all there is? Perhaps I am meant for something more, something better. Perhaps I should go and seek my happiness outside the village. One summer morning he left his home, carefully closed the garden gate behind him and walked away. He walked for miles and miles until he could no longer see where he had been. Night fell and he found himself deep in a dark forest. Having no other shelter he took off his shoes, spread his coat on the ground, and fell asleep against the trunk of a tree for he was very tired.Watching him sleep his angel shook her head at the folly of his adventure. But what could she do? She could turn his shoes around facing them back in the direction from which he came. And so she did. When the man awoke he pulled on his coat, put his feet into his shoes and began to walk. After many miles of walking the man began to see familiar fields, a few farmhouses, a village - all looking very much like what he had left; but how could that be? People in the village market greeted him as if he was familiar to them; but how could that be? Arriving at a cottage with a garden gate he was startled to be greeted by children and a woman as if he were their long lost father and husband; but how could that be? They welcomed him inside, took off his shoes, sat him at a table very much like one he knew, fed him food that tasted like home; but how could that be?To this very day the man lives with that family in that home in that village and wonders, “If this isn't happiness, what is?” As the old ones say, “If we are not grateful for what we have in this present moment, what makes us think we will be happy with more?” You're always welcome: "Come for the stories - Stay for the magic!"
